Oral Thrush Connection With Cloudy Urine?
May 28, 2014
I'm 19 I've been having cloudy urine on and off for months now. I first noticed it when taking antibiotics. I've also been getting weird stomach growling sounds constantly since then as well.I don't see any blood and have back pain. I had a urine test sent of for infection which came back negative and have had 2 U&E blood test done which are also normal. My CK, CRP, TSH and Troponin levels are normal as well as my magnesium calcium and phosphates. I have oral thrush which my doctor thought might be causing the cloudy urine but the thrush is in the mouth. Could this be protein in the urine?

I'm a 26 yr old male, I've been peeing cloudy for months now, not every time I pee, usually just once a day, and the rest seem normal. Lately it seems like it's more cloudy than before. Also at night i have to get up alot to pee, but its usually just a few drops each time. Just recently two things happened, on two different occasions. First, I was peeing and it seemed to be normal color, but at the last end it turned white/cloudy and right at the last drop or two it looked like white flaky particles in it. Since then I've been noticing the particles more often. Second thing, almost two weeks after noticing the particles I was peeing one night and it seemed to burn quite bad at the last few drops, and when I was done it didn't feel like a finished, felt like I still had more. I went to outpatients the other night, did a urine sample and the test come back negative for UTI, so they sent it to a lab, next morning they did blood work and another urine sample. Waiting for the results now. Dr thinks it could be a prostate infection (prostatitis) caused from chlamydia so he put me on Ciprofloxacin. I dont think its from chlamydia because the two girls I've had unprotected sex with both been tested recently and come back clean. He also said its possible it could be stones.

I had protected sex few weeks ago with a prostitute, but I don't know if the condom broke or not (I think not). 2~3 weeks later I had a mild soar throat (no fever, sneezing, running nose or headache only cough). few days ago, I noticed my tongue is covered in a white creamy thing. Also my fingers joints aches a little bit (few seconds and then it goes away. The feeling is just like when you press on your joints, or when you feel so cold) I'm really worried that i could've been infected with HIV
- how bad should an HIV soar throat be?
- how long does it take for thrush to start forming on the tongue after having the intercourse?
- how bad HIV muscle/joints pain should be and for how long does it take for a person to start feeling pain after having the intercourse?

On a doctor's visit back in December, it was discovered that i had microscopic blood in my urine. This went on for a few months, and increased with every doctor's check up. A urologist did an ultrasound of the kidney/bladder back in February, and all was normal. He also did cystoscopy which was normal too. He also did a test which shows my bladder holds sufficient amount of urine. The problem is, we never really figured out what the cause was, and recently i have had a new symptom (mucus tissue looking things in my urine). I am considering going back to a different urologist, but has anyone experienced something similar, or know what tissue looking bits in urine is?

I have just started using vagifem and was pleased to find it did not irritate me (I have extremely sensitive skin down there and can only tolerate natural oils). However, after the second day of use I got thrush. I am susceptible to thrush and during the perimenopause, with hormones in chaos, I would get it every few months despite being on a no sugar diet and taking lots of anti-candida supplements. I had been getting slowly dryer down there. I have not had a period for 51 days and since my last period suddenly became completely dry down there. Sexual intercourse has to be short, careful and aided by loads of oil based lube, but it still hurts and I am sore after. Having suffered from vulvodynia caused by repeated and persistent thrush I am wary about thrush and damage in that area. Water based vaginal moisturisers sting me and oil based doesn't rehydrate the cells. So, after trying various things without success and my GP warning me it will get worse, I have bitten the bullet and tried vagifem. However, I am worried that it may have caused the thrush. Has anyone else experienced thrush caused by vagifem? Did it persist? Or did it settle down once your body had adjusted to the oestrogen, or once you had dropped down to twice a week doses (I am still on 1 a day).

I turned 60 last year. However, I don't look it, and get away with being mid 50's. Unfortunately diagnosed with LS recently. Sex was always a problem and I thought it was thrush I was immediately getting. However, it turned out to be LS. But I still get uncontrolled thrush as well. The Dermovate ointment which I have to use daily at the moment gives me thrush! Can anyone help with an alternative. I am so very sore and depressed.

I have always had a problem 'down there' since a young age and was told not to worry about it my symptoms include discharge that ranges from white to slightly brown and lately a very strong smell. What alarmed me was something that happened three months ago. Lately it turned out that i had little sensation in the vagina canal area and my clitoris ended up being very painful if it was stimulated too much. I've never had this problem before with my boyfriend and i haven't read about anything like this happening where the vagina ends up being sore and little sensation? I have recently seen my gp and she said it could possibly be thrush and gave me a course of Flagyl ( metronidazole) and a Clotrimazole cream that i apply outside of the vagina and inside via an applicator.

I've been noticing a thick, yellow, smelly discharge coming from my vagina and have done a pregnancy test, been to the GUM clinic and they've come back negative. I've done a thrush treatment and it has made no difference either. I've recently got a new partner (he's been tested too) and am having sex quite often and now I'm experiencing itching and veins of blood in my discharge. What could this be I'm worried?

I am 20 years old and have not a period for almost 5 months now. I have never had sex, so there is no way I am pregnant. I have been under a lot of stress during the past semester in college. I feel like my libido has been higher lately, and I have been masturbating a lot lately. I've always done it a fair amount, maybe 5-7 days per week, since I was a kid, but now it is like 2 times per day and takes anywhere from 20-50 minutes each time. First of all, do I masturbate too much/does anyone see it as a problem? Is it normal? Second of all, is it possible that it is contributing to delaying my periods for so long? Or could it be that certain hormone levels are both increasing my libido while also delaying my period?

I have been officially diagnosed with celiac disease and I have been gluten free for about 3 years now. However, I have been having on again off again inflammation of my prostate for the past few months. Some have suggested that there is a strong connection between celiac and prostatitis. I try pretty hard to avoid gluten, but could cross contamination cause flare ups? This last flare up has lasted a few days with no signs of letting up.

Has anyone every experienced dull pain in rectum?
I get it occasionally for absolutely no obvious reason, then it passes, either on its own or I take a painkiller.
Been seen at hospital...all clear...doesn't occur very often but just suddenly happens
Could it possibly have a connection with pelvic floor?

I'm a 19 year old female and i've noticed that I've lost at least 5-6kg (~60kg - 54kg) of weight since the middle of march. Initially in march i intended to lose weight by eating less and exercising more, however this didn't last for long and although I was eating a little less it doesn't warrant how much weight I've lost since then. Since coming home from university at the end of june I weighed myself and was shocked by my weight loss! Since seeing the weight loss in June I've eaten a lot more but am finding it difficult to actually put on weight (but haven't lost anymore weight).
I also found a moveable lump under my jaw, it is painless and there is only one of them. It is roughly 1cm in size (if not a few mm bigger).
I feel as if i find it hard to breathe in but I've been looking up a lot of symptoms on the internet and am not sure if this is just my mind telling me that I'm having breathing difficulties!

My daughter is 19. About 18 months ago she started having panic attacks, feeling nauseous and shaking and becoming quite distressed. After counselling and medication it became controlled. She still suffered episodes of shaking and feeling as if her blood sugar was dropping. She has had episodes of lightheadedness and passed out at work , being out for about 10 minutes. All her tests have shown as normal to now, however something is suddenly causing these events. She has had bp, eeg, fasting bloods- glucose and thyroid function, all normal. She is awaiting a 24 hour eeg now. I read about adrenaline crashes and Addison's disease recently and its connection with irregular periods, which she gets and Vitiligo, which she has a small patch of. Is it worth discussing tests with her GP? they seem quite happy to put her regular visits there down to anxiety though.

I researched the PND and stomach problems connection. I am trying to figure things out as I have an upset stomach for 1 month now, and I think it might be related to my PND condition.
I can not even remember the time I have PND, I just did not know how it is called. I always sucked mucus in my mouth from "somewhere", and did not know it is coming from the nose/sinuses. I am allergic to a lot of things, not just in the air but foods too. From the PND - at least I guess - I have tonsil stones and one enlarged tonsil at the right side. Left is quite ok.
I have not had any serious or long lasting stomach problem until now. For 1 months time I am feeling a gradually stronger pain under my left rib, which is actually also in the back. Not to talk about the bloating I feel. I was at my Doc, he said it is ok, just take a plill to lower acid. Although, I like to look after and research things, and read that too low stomach acid can cause indigestion, which causes bloating. I would not take that pill, I am looking for a deeper solution.
The question is - can PND cause low stomach acid? My theory is that this mucus which is landing in my stomach (when I can not spit it out) inhibits stomach to produce enough stomach acid, leaving food undigested and also vitamins unabsorbed. So the whole system is not functioning as it should and sooner or later (looks like later is now arrived) it will cause an ulcer or who knows what. (And also, in case of this, killing HP bacteria would not mean any solution as I read, but it is another question.)
I am trying the neti pot tomorrow, and hoping for a solution that it will lower the amount of mucus dripping down at the back, and so it should help my stomach.
What do you think? Am I on a very wrong way, or can there be something in what I am trying to say?
