Morton's Neuroma (9 Days Ago) - Still Very Painful
May 10, 2016
I had surgery 9 days ago to remove 2 neuromas in my left foot. It is still very painful and I eventually went back to the dressing clinic yesterday to see if it was a problem with the dressing sticking to the wound. On removing it it was found that one of my incisions had come apart and that I had an infection for which they gave me anti biotics. Anyone else had this problem?

I had surgery to remove 2 neuromas. I am now 9 weeks post op and still absolutely miserable. The pain and discomfort I have now are a thousand times worse than pre op. Has anyone had success with this surgery? If so how long did it take for full recovery?

Please tell me is my period flow normal. I used to get 5-6 day periods, heavy for 2 days, medium for 2 days, then light for 1-2 days until it tapered off and ended. It was this way even when I was on birth control.
For the past few months now, I have been getting 3-4 day periods, where the first day is really just some spotting indicating my period is going to be starting. The second day is my heavy day. The third day is medium light. The 4th day is light. I'm still on birth control. I am 30 years old now.
Also last month, my period color was dark brown and I also had some black colored clotting during my heavy day. I know some blood clots are normal during menstruation, I had them all my life. But this blood clot was black. Again this month on my heavy day, I had black colored clot. It was a dime size clot. Size was not large. Is black color clotting anything to worry about? I do not see red blood these past two periods like I am used to seeing. I am seeing mostly brown and/or black.
And how can I increase my menstrual flow. I am worried that my endometrium lining is thinning and can cause a problem when I do try for children.

For the past year i have had many strange symptoms in varying degrees, good days/bad days, good weeks/bad weeks.
Here is a list of my symptoms
Lack of energy, Extreme tiredness/fatigue,feeling faint (although never fainted),dizzy on and off but always dizzy up to a week before my period, one very bad period of 4 months vertigo. Jelly legs, shaky inside, feeling weak as though I've had the flu or something but I've not even had a cold this year.Palpitations, feeling detached, feeling like i'm about to loose consciousness (very odd feeling) the feeling you get just as you are about to go to sleep, Brain fog.Sensitive to light, eyes often become bloodshot. Headaches/migraine. Sometimes feel so cold inside & cannot seem to warm up.Periods of insomnia, bladder irritability especially in week before period, episodes of what i now call bladder fizz where bladder so irritable it feels like i have fizzy liquid in my bladder cannot sleep through this sensation sometimes accompanied by the feeling of a red hot needle going up the urethra (would be interested to know if anyone else gets this & any remedies please? A pain I get on either side low down about where pubic hair begins pain seems to radiate to back & sometimes down into the thigh on the side of where the pain begins, doesn't seem to coincide with ovulation & randomly happens (ibuprofen usually takes it off after a couple of hours) Bloating & times of excessive wind.Monthly cyst like spots on jaw line, hair sprouting on chin & upper lip (invested in a home laser scanner) Hair beginning to thin at temples.
Food cravings for something salty & chocolate particularly before period.
I am almost 53 so after reading forums on here have come to the conclusion that its menopause & not some mysterious illness, thought I might have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, just didn't realise there were so many different symptoms of menopause.
Last year I did have very bad night sweats & hot flushes but they have reduced greatly, I take vit 6, eat plenty of fresh fruit/veg/salads, chicken, fish, flax seeds/chia seeds.
I'm so pleased to have found this forum & to find i'm not the only one suffering through this and not going mad, hope this might help someone else.

I am 20 years old and am due to have a colonoscopy. I cancelled my first appointment as i was so scared and was having night tremors and panic attacks at the thought of it!
Have read so many horrible stories and want to know actually how painful they are?
Would also like to know whether the painkillers and sedation is recommended as i hate needles and don't like the idea of not being aware of whats going on, dont want to feel like i'm not in control.

For the past few years whenever I go in the sea (when it's very cold) I get quite a severe pain in my feet - like an intense ache. It eventually fades away but it's pretty unpleasant! I'm guessing this is something to do with poor circulation, but I don't know anyone else this happens to, and whilst not exceptionally active I'm not very unfit.

I'm asking Moms who breastfed more than one baby already. Is it as painful in the beginning the second time around? Or your boobs just get used to it?
It was pretty painful for me in the beginning with my son but got much better later on. I'm worried it will be as painful in the beginning with my second..

I had problem with tight foreskin and on doc's advice have had a circumcision. Just got my dressing off this morning and feeling quite painful (burning feeling). Painkillers are helping, but tip of penis is very sensitive. Also noticed a large blister on penis head. My penis is well below average size, should I be worried about this blister kind of thing?

I have been having pain since December 14, 2015 I thought it was the normal menstrual cramps but menstrual is over and still have pain went to the doctors today they are pretty positive I have a kidney stone I'm drinking lots of lemon water some cranberry juice trying to flush it out. I have a female friend who told me that every time she's had a kidney stone the pain got less and less right before it passed, and that the passing of the stone wasn't that bad. I just wanted to know if there is any other females who had this experience or was it painful actually passing the stone I know how painful it is in the process of waiting for it to come out I've been dealing with that for 6 days just nervous for it to actually pass.

I have a very painful spot on my back between my shoulder blade and my spine. It hurts just for my hair, clothing, or even a good breeze to touch it. It is not red or warm to the touch. It is accompanied by a rash that will spread from shoulder to shoulder and up my neck. The rash is very fine and comes and goes. It itches and burns and is painful also. The rash is not red or warm to the touch either.

I had a bump on my sphincter and it was slightly painful. It showed up Thursday night after I went to the gym and yesterday it seemed to have popped. The size of the bump has gone down but now there is some blood and clear liquid coming out. I can't see it since it is near the hole (sorry for the image). What could it be?

I have a painful and migraine inducing bump on the left side of my Occipital bone, located an inch away from my ear. It's extremely painful and I have noticed some mood swings and it's driving me insane. Lately I've been having bad back pain too. I just want to know what are the possibilities or potential issue. It's very very painful and sore. It almost feels like a cyst by its hardness. I also am having a little case of the cold on top of this.

I'm told it's GCA, biopsy result awaited but consultand said other symptoms highly suggestive of it. As far as I know I do not have PMR but I do have MS and Alopecia. I have noticed over the past few weeks I have a VERY tight painful place on my heel, if I sit with leg extended and pull my foot towards me there is a pain and much tightness on my heel. Is that a symptom of PMR? I keep stretching it but it seems to be getting worse.
