View 1 RepliesI've gotten my period twice this month for the past 3 months .. The only thing that has changed during these 3 months is unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I am not pregnant I've taken pregnancy test in which they all were negative. I decided to start my birth control but I did it wrong therefor I would have to wait till my next period.. I am really confused I need some help I know I have to make a docs app because that's the only way I'll find out but I would like some advice.. Plus the 2nd time I get my period I am fatigue & lost of appetite...

View 1 RepliesI had a tubal ligation in march 2015. My period was normal for about 2 months but now it comes every other month. What could it be?
View 1 RepliesJust curious if anyone has had this problem. I have had my paragaurd IUD for 3 years. Prior to this one I had one for 6 years with no problems whatsoever. Almost a month ago I started my period. It started strange with a clear pinkish watery discharge followed by thick brownish discharge. About 2 weeks later I passed something that was flesh colored and about the size of a dime. I thought it might be a miscarriage so i took a pregnancy test with a negative result. I have been continuously bleeding since then. This has been a total of a month now. I am very scared but unfortunately I can't be seen for another week. Up until now my periods have been every 21 days and lasted for 5-7 like clockwork. Has anyone experienced anything like this? FYI I have been in a monogamous relationship for 2 1/2 years and had STD testing with my last annual a year ago.

Secondly, I'm here because I'm concerned about chest pain I've been having for the past 3 days, even though my PCP examined me and sent me home with instructions to get rest, fluids, and take extra iron tabs for the next couple days (I appeared anemic but my level was in the normal range).
So when the pain began it was sharp stabbing accompanied by hot flashes and nausea and lightheadedness. Since then, it has been a consistent, sometimes worse sometimes better, feeling like someone is pressing on or squeezing my chest, and today the pain was radiating into my left arm, and both hands were tingling. I also have off and on indigestion, lightheadedness, and constantly feel like I CAN'T BREATHE despite no congestion or any cold symptoms or anything.
The other thing is, I've been absolutely exhausted since this began. Like, I can barely walk to the bathroom and back. And have taken 5 hour naps every day since Thursday and otherwise have barely left the couch.
I just don't think I can go on like this another day, but I don't know what else to do! My resting EKG was normal. Although my PCP did say I would benefit from an echo because I have a preexisting diastolic murmur.
For the last three months I've been feeling sick to my stomach the week before my period starts. It's gotten to the point that I have thrown up several times and I'm not sure whats going on. It's woken me up several times and it's not a normal premenstrual thing for me..... what could be going on?
View 1 RepliesI am 43 years old. I had a tubal at the age of 22. The last few months during my period, I have been getting diarrhea, very nauseated and usually end up vomiting. Why is this happening to me now when it never did when I was younger?
View 1 RepliesI never really get my period late until last month. I usually get my period on the 13th (how ironic) and well, today is the 13th of a new month and I haven't gotten it today. Is this normal? I'm a virgin and all so, I don't know what do/ what's going on.
View 11 RepliesI think I am going insane... I have been suffering from episodes of hot flashes followed by cold chills with 99.1 to 99.7 degrees fever for about 4 years now.. I have had Blood tested for almost everything- Lupus, Thyroid.-Aids, Sed rates.. etc... and nothing comes back... The dr's can not find anything.. This last episode is lasting 31 days and counting.. I am starting to get a lot of anxiety, my body aches and I have headaches that come and go..
I am 45 years old and feel like I am90! I have been in relatively good health.. Is is possible that this is perimeno? I just started hormone replacement therapy and My obgyn has me on a very low dose of progesterone - pills and testosterone..I am hoping this helps.. I am so sad and scared, I don't know what to do.
Over the last few months I've been randomly getting nauseated. It usually lasts a day or two and only has actually caused me to vomit a few times. However recently it has become more severe, and more common and even more recently has become paired with an uncomfortable dizziness and weakness in my legs. My mother believed it was morning sickness so I took a pregnancy test which proved negative and haven't missed any periods in the 3 months since I was last sexually active so I'm fairly certain I am not pregnant.
View 1 RepliesI'm 36 weeks and I swear throughout my pregnancy I always pee on myself once a month. I either laugh to hard and pee or it just come out. My baby father be thinking it's funny but I be feeling embarrassed even if it's just a lil. Who else have this problem??
View 2 RepliesSo I started a new job in December. It's an hour away and is a desk job, so for 10 hours (basically), I am sitting. I do stand when I can, but I don't have a desk that allows me to stay that way. I wish I had one, but they're too expensive for the work budget. Before this job, I was constantly walking around or standing at the very least.
About three weeks into this new job, there was one day where I felt horribly bloated and gassy. I was wearing a belt and felt like I needed to take it off and unbutton my pants immediately, but I couldn't until I went to my car. After that, I noticed I was constipated and gassy once I made it home.
I figured it was okay since that has happened before (but for only two days). Over the weeks, I realized that whenever I DID pass stool, it was flattened and very difficult unless my morning coffee was able to dislodge it. There has never been any blood or mucus. It has just been really hard to pass bowels over the last month. My stomach hurts a little after straining, but the frustrating thing is that I feel like I need to go sometimes and feel like I could pass a stool if I stood up and did it. That just isn't possible...
At any rate, I don't know what the problem is... I'm in my late 20s. I drink lots of water. My diet depends on my time...
Flat stool
Constipation
No blood
No mucus
Only felt bloated twice (including the initial bloating)
Stomach pain only after straining
No nausea
This was my first month taking the pill Yaz. I was on Yasmin before where you take your seven day break and within that break i would have normally got my period. I have been taking my pill everyday between 11 and 12 and I have NOT miss any. I have also been using condoms as well so I am double protected.
Today is my 3rd day of the sugar pills (pill with no hormone) and i still haven't gotten my period. I did however get a slight and I mean the SLIGHTEST bit of brown discharge.
Is there a reason I didn't get a full period? Would the slight bit of brown count as a period? Could it be my body adjusting to the new pill.
I got my menstrual cycle twice for the month. Just wondering what could cause it to occur and has this happened to anyone else on here?
View 2 RepliesI had a no-scalpel vasectomy just over a month ago. After the first week, I noticed the cut ends of my vas (the part inside my scrotum that goes up into my body) were staying stiff, swollen and painful; the left side more than the right. After another week, I made a "nurse's visit" to the doctor because he was too busy for an appointment. He came in, gave my testicles a quick grab and declared the swelling and stiffening a normal inflammatory response.
It's now been two more weeks and the condition has not improved significantly. Physical activity (like yard work) and certain clothing increase the irritation and makes the inflammation worse.
Am I just a slow healer and this will eventually go away? Or have I settled into a known permanent side effect?
What should I do? It's been two months already but it still won't go away.
View 7 RepliesRecently i had protected vaginal sex with a csw for 2-3 minutes in Thailand, & i had shaved my pubic region just before 2 hours of having intercourse.
Though i am sure condom did not break, i am fearing that shaving super facials cuts may transmit HIV to me even though after shaving there was no visible cuts / broken skin.
After this incident, i had rapid blood HIV tests at 8, 10,weeks & 3 months (88 days) which were all negative, but still after 10 weeks i am having mild sore throat, a little white tongue & diarrhea problems for more than 10 days.
please answer my question.
1) Have you heard of any person got hiv due to shaving pubic hairs before having sex?
2) Do you consider my 88 days HIV negative test conclusive? or i have to test again?
I have a son that has suffered from eczema about a month after he was born. I would say to this day he learned to walk at the young age of 8 months so he could get to better objects to scratch himself. He was and still is covered in it, however it is not as bad now as it was when we got to six weeks old. At six weeks my son did not have a patch of clear skin on him, his hair was stuck to his head so you could not even brush his hair (it would bleed if you did), he had lots of creams and was bandaged from head to foot!! as the years have gone on his skin has not got much better. he can brush his hair now!! However the amount of bullying he has suffered, the weight he has put on (maybe a bit of depression) this all contributed to another problem from the weight gain his hip basically is coming apart so he has had to have it pinned and is now in a wheelchair, this will be for some time as he is due to have more surgery. But my lovely boy still to this day 14 years on still has a smile on his face and we have a good relationship. in my sons words. horribly painful, waking up with fresh cuts, never a good night's sleep. the picking on. people think you should stop scratching but you can't when you are asleep, The constant itching, the creams hurt and don't help. blood over clothes and bed sheets. my son suffers every day, he also has very bad asthma he gets hay fever, but on the whole stress triggers it off. he did live on a diet of just salad and fruit it helps for a while. But the bullying got worse and that triggered it back off again, now he won't have salads at school even though it helps and he likes them. We count ourselves lucky we have each other to lean on and get through it, He has the help of his brother, unfortunately his dad found it hard to cope with so he is not around much. We do not have much family support as we live in New Zealand now. But my son is very bright has a wonderful whit and is a kindhearted young man in the making and that is what keeps us going.
