My period ended a week ago, and i've been spotting every day since then. My discharge alternates between a very light pink to a thick brown discharge. I'm not sexually active, so pregnancy is definitely out of the picture. I've never had anything like this happen to me before. I feel completely fine. No pain or anything. Nothing such as my diet or stress level has changed. I am 23. What could this be?

It is “normal” for me to miss a month here and there, I don’t have a set cycle length and even for a few months last year, I had periods every two weeks. I am now 19 and have not had a period since November and there is 0% chance of me being pregnant. Is it likely to still be just puberty or should I go to my GP?

View 1 RepliesI am 21 and I have PCOS. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for about a year. My periods were regular until I had a possible miscarriage last winter. I had multiple doctors trying to get me back on track. My period ended 9 days ago. Today is my day of ovulation, and last night my husband and I had sex, but this morning i had slight cramping and then I noticed I was bleeding a little bit (it had mucus in it) when I went to the bathroom. Could it be because I'm suppose to be ovulationg? I've never experienced this before.

I took the first 3 on time but I started getting really sick and couldn't hold anything down so I waited and doubled up on the the 6th day until i got caught up on day 9.dayWell I started I period on day 7. I thought the first 7 pills were placebos to help keep track.
Did I wait too long after my last day of my period to take them and being inconsistent with taking them caused me start a period? Also, if I keep taking them will it stop my period?
The menstrual blood itself looks dry blood with clots. But a few times its been red but again majority of it looks like dry blood.
I started Yasmin a year ago (21 active pills and a week break. Always start the pack on a Sunday) to help with my PMS symptoms. I've been quite happy with them with the only exception that my period always starts about a week before my last active pill (I don't stop taking them when this happens, just take them as usual until the 21 days are over). My doctor said this can happen and that it's nothing to worry about.
Now I am going to visit my boyfriend from the 17th to the 25th september and would hate to be on my period then . I got my period today and i still have 7 pills left, so again, it's a week early. Looking at the calendar if my next cycle goes like this i'd start my period in the midst of my visit. If i wanted to postpone/skip my next period should i continue taking my next 21 pills without a break after i finish this pack? And then a third pack after which i'd have a weeks break? Or could this cause my period to come even earlier because my body is not used to this?
I've been on Junel birth control for a few years, I originally went on the pill at 14 due to heavy prolonged periods. My pap was normal last year. I've started dieting last week and lost 5 pounds so far, however, I skipped a pill, and now I'm cramping and bleeding heavily. It's still a week before my scheduled period with the pill, and I've been bleeding 5 days. It's still kinda heavy. It's South beach diet I'm on and I'm 22 by the way.

Then this spotting started on the first day of my ovulation May 29, exactly 14 days after my 1st day period may 15. from spotting it went to slight bleeding (I thought it would stop, enough to fill a panty liner). I
t is already June 10 as I'm writing this and still spotting a little though(still have those brown discharges).
I'm expecting my period tomorrow. I wish and hope its implantation or breakthrough bleeding but I am more "worried".

i had my first day of my period last august 18 then a week after i started to have dark brown spotting and dark red or like maroon light bleeding for 3 days then this September 12 i noticed a dark red that turns brown spotting on my liner and dark red light bleeding 2 days before my period is due that is September 14,on that day i think i had my period because it became heavy like my first day of period im scared whats happening to me.

I have had serious period pains and then they have stopped I now have sharp pain going through my breast espeically behind my nipples and over past week my nipples have been really sore but now they are not.
I've still not had a sign of a period.
I have also had a lot of feeling of trapped wind and seems to be having pain in my chest but in the back of my chest like a pressure feeling not a pain.
I am really worried and want to know if I have reason to be?
I had sex on day 3 of my last period which they usually last 5 days, after sex my period stopped completely, and my cycle is somewhat irregular but usually around 24 days or so. I experienced cramps and sore breasts just like I usually do a week before my period; I started bleeding 23 days after my last period but the bleeding lasted 2 days, stopped and I bleed on and off for 6 days. I had spotting a week after the sex. since then I have had vomiting sensations every now and then and fatigue and dizziness. My period cycle is usually 35 days. I have also been feeling hot at night the last 4 days with sweating (although the Temp outside is v mild for this time of year)so could just be that.Getting a few spots here and there that don't usually get.I am taking the tabs for bleeding inbetween periods short term at the mo.

Yesterday (the 2nd) I started what I thought was my period but it was brown/black lumpy blood, enough to go thru a few tampons and it ended today (the 3rd). View 2 RepliesI have been taking birth control pills for about 6 years now, on and off. I usually take it every month, however for the last month I did not take the pills. My periods did not come after the month ended but it came after about two months for itself. I started taking the pills after my periods finished and into about a week of the pills, I began spotting, this never happened before. I have protected sex with my bf, so I highly doubt I am pregnant, but I still wanted to find out what could be the causes of my irregular spotting?

I got my period Oct.19th and this month it should be around the same time, around Nov.19th. I had unprotected sex on Nov.12th. Can I get pregnant?
