My husband and I have been trying to have a baby...And on the day when my period was to begin I had a good amount of brown discharge and when I would whipe it was mixed with some blood , a little bit later that day it stopped, the following day I had some blood like my regular period but it then stopped again and I haven't had it since....so it only lasted two days when it usually lasts a week .

View 5 RepliesI sometimes and very suddenly become very tired(unable to sit), cold back, and headache. These symptoms would appear 3 to 4 times a year and last 10 to 11 days and then disappear as quickly as they came. Last year or so they came more often but most of time last only 4 to 5 hours. Blood test reveals nothing.
I might add I have 3 to 4 sinus infections a year and have yellow nail syndrome.
My boyfriend and I don't have sex, but will "fool around", and I have noticed after foreplay, I have cramping and pain in my lower abdomen that sometimes lasts a few days. It sometimes feels like a bloating feeling, but it is painful. (I have had problems of painful cramps during my period and my doctor has put me on oral contraceptives.) Is he being too rough, or is there something else that is causing this pain?

My nipples became sore first day of missed period, now my breasts are very sore. I've always been very regular 28-30 day cycle. My fiance and I are not ttc but not the most careful. Last month we had sex but nowhere near ovulation we used the pull out method. Two days before my period was due we had unprotected sex. Im 28. I don't take any medications. Could this be thyroid, cysts, or pregnancy? Should I see the ob right away or wait for another missed period. Also my breasts have never been sore after my period was due only before.I also felt feverish a couple of times. I am now getting nauseous and dizzy. I called the ob this morning and she said they suggest waiting two weeks after a missed period before taking another pregnancy test. What seems more likely pregnancy or cysts. is it unlikely I'm pregnant

I'm not sexually active, so pregnancy is definitely out of the picture. I've never had anything like this happen to me before. I feel completely fine. No pain or anything. It is “normal” for me to miss a month here and there, I don’t have a set cycle length and even for a few months last year, I had periods every two weeks. I am now 19 and have not had a period since November and there is 0% chance of me being pregnant. Is it likely to still be just puberty or should I go to my GP?

View 5 RepliesFor a little background I had been having some family issues recently and was drinking 6-7 shots most nights. I live a healthy lifestyle besides the alcohol and am 26. I suddenly realized i had not had my period and found out I was pregnant. My husband and I had an ultrasound the next day and found I was already 6w3d. I immediately stopped drinking but I am terrified. Is there a possibility that the baby could come out of this ok? I know babies are most at risk for FAS in the first tri but I thought it was mostly apparent when mothers drank the entire pregnancy. I need to find a way to move past this

I have been very stressed out with my college courses and have started up a new intense workout in the past two months... Is that what has been causing this? If so, how can I make it stop? At first, it was dark brown with light flow. Then it became normal flow but it's still dark brown. Soon, it became like a normal period flow, dark red. Then right now, it's light red, somehow it's watery. It's my first time to experience this and I don't know what's wrong. Last month I had my period (October). The month before that I didn't (September). I don't usually have missed periods, but that wasn't my first time. Anyway, I had my first (protected) sex last August, after I had my period. Although the condom we used was placed in his wallet for 4 months, could that have tampered it? We didn't do it for long since it hurt. At the same time, I had very sharp shooting pains to my rectum. It was literally unbearable and I was almost in tears. I've had a similar pain in the past and I went to the hospital. They diagnosed it as a ruptured ovarian cyst. The only difference this time is that the pain only lasted for a little while (about an hour). Last time it lasted for at least two days. Last night after the pain ended I had trouble breathing and a very fast heart rate.

View 1 RepliesI am a 25 year old female. For about a year now I've been getting sharp stabbing chest pains in my right side which last from 1-14 days. The pain is worse when I take a breath inward and there is no tenderness. There is no monthly pattern with the pains, but I get them at least once every 2 months. I have noticed that every time I sleep on my right side, these pains appear. However I'm not sure whether this is a coincidence or not?
The first time this happened I went to A&E, they did an ECG and checked me for blood clots but everything was fine. Could this be pleurisy do you think? And does anyone know whether sleeping on my right side would bring the pains on. I am getting worried at this keeps happening, I thought it would sort itself out.
I'm 25,my last period is on 24august2013,until today 3oct2013,i my period late 9 days,I feels stomach cramp , last few days i thought I will come period but I'm haven't come yet.Yesterday I went to see doctor pregnant test show negative, doctor ask me came back next weeks to check again,she said maybe hormone haven't build up.Today i worry about my stomach still cramp,then I see another doctor again,he ask me to test also shows negative,he give me hormone medicine and Gynaecosid to let my period come,should I taken the medicine or I should wait next weeks test again?
