Menstruation :: Copper IUD For 3 Years And Just Started Bleeding For A Month

Just curious if anyone has had this problem. I have had my paragaurd IUD for 3 years. Prior to this one I had one for 6 years with no problems whatsoever. Almost a month ago I started my period. It started strange with a clear pinkish watery discharge followed by thick brownish discharge. About 2 weeks later I passed something that was flesh colored and about the size of a dime. I thought it might be a miscarriage so i took a pregnancy test with a negative result. I have been continuously bleeding since then. This has been a total of a month now. I am very scared but unfortunately I can't be seen for another week. Up until now my periods have been every 21 days and lasted for 5-7 like clockwork. Has anyone experienced anything like this? FYI I have been in a monogamous relationship for 2 1/2 years and had STD testing with my last annual a year ago.

I got my copper coil fitted in January. Wasn't pleasant did get a bit ill but after I was fine and of course had heavy long periods and sore cramps for a few months. The bleed has eased a bit but the pain seems to be getting more intense. I have never had any children or been pregnant the only way I can describe it is like well labour pains. Only lasts a few seconds at a time and I find myself screaming in pain and panting as its unbelievably painful I think the girls in work think I'm at it as they see the pain I can get in. Comes and goes in waves this has been happening for a few months now it feels like a period cramp but 100 times worse and something stabbing me with a 1000 knifes in my uterus DX bit extreme I know haha. I was warned cramps can get worse but never knew they would be THIS bad and I thought they would calm down after a few months but only got worse. The only good thing is I haven't got pregnant and I don't think my other half wants to go back to using protection after this long having the coil.

Sunday night me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex and he came inside me. It gave me a weird feeling like tingling then most of his sperm just came out my vagina. but the next morning when I woke up I was bleeding, then stopped. And started bleeding again today. I don't understand why in bleeding because I just got off my period September 18th. That was the first time he ever came in me.

I've gotten my period twice this month for the past 3 months .. The only thing that has changed during these 3 months is unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I had the copper coil fitted over 2 weeks ago and have been bleeding everyday with low pelvic pain plus am so light headed I have nearly fainted twice, its seems worse when i'm walking around but more light when a sitting down has anyone else gone through the same thing I have appointment at the doctors 2mro .x

I had my last period on 11/4, ovulated somewhere around 11/18 and then on 11/25-11/26, 6 days before my period was due, I had what I believe was implantation bleeding (light pink only when I wiped for a day and half and then brown for a half day). Then on 11/30, 2 days before my period was due (I'm always regular). I started bleeding red, lighter than normal, mostly when I when I wipe, but enough to want a pad on just in case. There are small fibrous looking pieces occasionally when I wipe as well. Is this implantation bleeding followed by decidual bleeding? Or a strange menstrual cycle?

My mother is 79 years old and in the early stages of dementia. Having stopped smoking 14 years ago she has suddenly started again - despite having had a collapsed lung and a cancerous tumour removed from her lung earlier this year. It happened 9 days after I finished my period I didn't have intercourse, but f*ngering with pretty much no chance of prec*m on the day after my period.
It has lasted for three days (currently)
It was a light brown/brown but is now a more dark brown/dark red.
Enough to change pads once or twice a day
Is this implantation bleeding or something else? I don't usually get this mid-cycle.

I put myself in rehab for 30 days in 2002. I quit drinking for 11 years. In August of 2013 I guess I got curious and started again. First, I used to drink socially, then weekends, then it just picked up after that. I'm not at the point of blackouts or missing work. I do not drink in the morning. I do not go to the bar rooms. I drink approximately 4-6 beer a day. Each day I say I'm not going to drink but I feel like I need to just to take the edge off. I thought it's time to do something before it does get out of control like it was in 2002. I've been calling about detox but my deductible is over $2500. Is there a safe way that my doctor can help me get through this at home. There is a time coming up soon that I have 6 days off of work.

I started bleeding 3 days after my period it started light but continued to get very heavy using 3-4 pads a day then a few days ago it started to slow down and showed signs of stopping when the red turned to brown but restarted again, My period is due in 9 days and this definitely doesn't feel like a period too me.
I'm not on the pill as i was having issues and came off it last year since i stopped using the combined pill my period has sorted itself out a lot.
I don't think i am pregnant as even if i was bleeding for this long would mean a issue?

I am a 24 year old female. For the last 5 years my periods have been very irregular, at one time I didn't have one for 3 months and assumed I had PCOS. I lost weight and all was back to normal. That was 4 years ago but now for the last 8 months I have had light spotting in between periods which then developed into heavier bleeding and now I have been bleeding for the most part of 4 weeks. I have noticed it is usually brought on after Orgasm (non penetrative). It is always bright red, clotty and I would say a Moderate bleed. I have been with the same partner for 5 years and we always use protection. I had a smear when the spotting initially started and all was normal. What could this be? I have developed some facial hair and have real trouble with my weight so I just assume it is PCOS but I don't associate PCOS with excessive bleeding, especially for a month straight? P.S I have never taken birth control, I am not on any prescription medicine.

I've been spotting while on NuvaRing which is odd for me because I've been using this for years with no problems. I went to the doctor in the middle of November to renew my prescription. They gave me a pregnancy test which came out negative. I had sex once in October and haven't since then.
In December my period came on a Wednesday and I forgot to get a new ring to put in to skip my period. I put in the ring the same day my period started, Wednesday, but I'm supposed to put in a new one Sundays. Anywho had a regular period but last week I had slight cramping for a day and some spotting. This week the same thing. The spotting is only lasting one day. What the heck is going on? Just old blood?

I started Esmya 6 days ago and am still bleeding, heavy at times. Had a slow wean off norethisterone, last tablet was 2 days before starting Esmya. So prob having a withdrawal bleed from that but just wondering how long til Esmya kicks in.
Had big haemorrhage at Xmas and lost over 30% blood volume so any bleeding leaves me highly anxious and unable to function normally. Has anyone else experienced that?
Also, consultant put mirena in 2 mths ago to help control bleeding. He said it won't impact on effect of Esmya but I've read that it can as they're both competing for progesterone receptors. Have others come across this at all? Is there anyone else out there on Esmya who also has the mirena? Did you have any results?
