View 1 RepliesI am a 19 year old teenager. I have problems with my skin on my face. it is very rough and rugged and not smooth. This problem has started after i have started shaving.I get reactions on my face when i shave. I get marks and these small dots appear on my face, which i don't know what they are. I don't smoke or drink or have bad habits. This problem has been a problem for sometime but i thought it would go away but is hasn't. I usually shave 1 a week due to this problem and there is no difference the problem still remains the same. I don't like my appearance of my skin as it rugged and looks very rough like sandpaper. What is the problem and do you know how i can cure/decrease it. Attached below in the link is some pictures of the condition of my face.
View 1 RepliesI had a vasectomy going on 8 days ago. The procedure was said to have gone well. I bruised quite badly and my scrotum and area up into my groin (mainly right side and above penis) swelled remarkably. The swelling has gone done significantly the last two days and my bruising is looking mildly better. My issue at present is my right testicle is sitting much higher than my left testicle. The left looks to be resting normally, and the right feels almost attached to the base of my penis. There is still some mild swelling above my penis on the right side in the groin. The swelling feels hard in the groin and runs down and meets the top of my right testicle.
you can imagine this is uncomfortable, but not outrageously painful. I can see my mobility being hampered if the right teste does not descend lower in a more normal resting position. Is this a normal experience that eventually resolves itself?
I have had a numb left leg for about 5 months now from my thigh down to my knee and it seems to be getting worse and going down to the rest of my left leg. I also have these weird scars that look red or bloody from the inside and there is 3 of them and they showed up out of nowhere overnight. My doctor has given me blood tests and MRI's and nothing has shown up abnormal.
View 1 Replies17 year old son has one testicle stuck immobile in groin on side he had inguinal hernia repair surgery at age 3...will this increase risk of testicular cancer? He's been checked & testicle is normal size & feels healthy...it's likely sat in his groin most of his life...We've been told another surgery would most likely result in loss of testicle.
View 1 RepliesFor about a month now I have had pain in my right testicle that spread into my groin and hip area. Also, occasionally I feel pain and discomfort in my upper right abdominal near the liver. This all started the morning after having unprotected sex but I went to the doctors and std test came back negative as well as the urine test came back negative. I have been having trouble getting solid erections since this day as well. What could be causing these problems?
View 2 RepliesPretty much my problem is in the title. I only just noticed this about a week ago when I saw that my right testicle was a little bigger then normal. As for the groin area, it seems to be located on my right side in the groin itself. At times it's hard to tell if the ache is in my testicle or in the groin. I'm 22 and there's no pain just some discomfort at times. Whats strange is that I haven't done anything physical to strain the area, at least not that I know of. Could I have maybe bruised it at some point or should I go and get it looked at?
View 2 RepliesI'm 16 and for the last few months I felt a lump on the outer side of my left testicle. Its not like it hurts or swollen like what I hear to look for in article and videos I seen. But the lump concerns me and I feel pain on my caves that feel like its being pulled. The lump might be nothing it could be a bug bite that I'm thinking to hard into.
View 1 RepliesAbout two weeks ago I had a dull pain in my knee and I noticed it happened the day after a long walk, then about two days later my left testicle started to have a very dull pain. It's not bad where it stops me from going about my daily life, and I only feel it when I either sit or lay down. It is on and off, and I recently started stretching my inner thigh and pelvic area and recently it has been happening to both testicles. I'm not sure if the testicle pain is actually in pain because when I touch them I don't feel anything or it may be something muscle related because I had the knee issue first. I do feel either the epididymis or vas deferens I'm not sure which it is, but it's right above both testicles, the left one feels thicker than the right, and my left testicle is higher than the right although I'm not sure if it was always like that because only now I notice it. I do not have insurance and before I go see a urologist I would like to have a general idea what I am dealing with.
View 1 RepliesYesterday, I noticed that my left testicle felt sore or had a dull ache. Kinda the feeling after getting hit in the balls. I am 19 years old and not sexually active. It does not hurt to ejaculate or urinate. The pain feels like its in the epididymis on the left side and only there. There is a less intense, sharp pain when I touch and move that area. I just started icing it for a minute or two every so often but it feels like it got more sensitive.
View 10 RepliesI'm a teenage boy, and recently while snowboarding i had a pretty bad fall. at first, i had a dull, sharp pain in/ right above my left testicle. i assumed it would go away after a day or so, but its been about two days, and i still feel the same pain whenever i walk or when i'm shifting positions in bed. any ideas what the hell is wrong?
View 2 RepliesI'm 15 years old and I know that this feeling is not from intercourse. So to begin, this is a very strange feeling. It's going to be hard to describe but I'll do my best. It is almost as if there is a ghostly feeling in my left side where the left testicle will enter the body. Like how they normally will enter the body when they are cold. Except there is nothing there. Both of my balls are hanging loose but there is just a very irritating and creepy feeling like there is a testicle just sitting there. So I can only describe it as feeling like I have a ghost ball there. Maybe it is the vein I'm not sure. There is also a small ache in the vein as well. Nothing bad but just enough to keep my mind on it and it's starting to drive me insane.
View 1 RepliesI am after some reassurance (aren't we all!) For the last 24hrs I have been suffering with numbness in my left arm/hand and leg, aching, tingly and cold hand. I also get a weird sensation of like bubbles popping in my leg (best way I can describe it) -anyone else had this? I suffer with anxiety but it seems to of gone up another level recently, more to do with my health. I went to the doctors about it today and he checked me over, said he was not worried about it being anything serious and that 'some people get it'. I said what about anxiety and he said that could be a possibility- and that was it! I came away feeling no more the wiser and frustrated that my anxiety does not seem to be being picked up on as I have mentioned it a couple of times previously. It seems to be one thing after another at the mo and i am really struggling with the way my anxiety is taking over me - I hate it and I do not want to be like this. Does anyone have any recommendations of books, Youtube, on anxiety?
View 11 RepliesI had a no scalpel vasectomy procedure done on 10/10/14. I have pain in my left testicle when I walk or any pressure at all gets placed on left testicle. I do not feel any pain when I am sitting, but when I first get up and walk I feel pain in testicle and also above testicle on left side. I also have ejaculated 7 times and still have blood in my semen. Should I be worried? My right side is perfectly fine with no pain at all.
View 1 RepliesI'm 18 And do lots of sports. 2 weeks ago I did a lunge in a game of football and soon after got a burning sensation in my left testicle that lasted for a maximum of 2 minutes and was not bad enough to warrant me going off the pitch. After this the pain subsided for a couple days. However over the past 4 days I have noticed a dull ache pain in the upper region of my left ball-sack (on the outer side). The testicle looks the same size and color and urine/semen is the same as usual.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have sorta ruled out testicular tension (or whatever the twisted testis is called) but only because it doesn't look enlarged or shrunk.
My left arm has been going numb from my elbow to all of my fingers and hand. I work at a desk. Sometimes I can't even type. I drink water and coffee. I was born with a double aortic arch. Had surgery at 4 days old, never had any heart problems since then. My arm has been doing this for a couple of months and will stay that way anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 or 4 hours. Should I see a doctor or what can I do?
View 1 RepliesI was taking a pre workout called mp assault to go lift weights. Then I got strange eye twitching/feeling numb+light sensitivity and dizziness. Now 3/4 days later twitching stopped but more and more of my face is numb and eye doesn't feel right. What is happening?
View 3 RepliesI have had severe left flank pain for 3 months now and still not been able to get a diagnosis. I am a 24 year old usually fit female.
The pain started towards the end of April while i was in work (an office desk job). It was on my left side in between my hip and ribs, spreading down to my groin. The pain got worse over the next couple of hours, and it has been a constant dull ache since then. The pain is most strong on the back of my left side but i can also feel it from the front.
I went to the doctors with this pain where i done blood and urine tests and got put on antibiotics for a suspected kidney infection, as well as codeine to ease the pain. The results came back with an apparent slight kidney abnormality showing, but a week later, i was still in a lot of pain and unable to move much, so i went back to the doctors where i got referred into hospital. I spent the night in hospital where i had more blood and urine tests, as well as an ultra sound. The hospital told me my results showed a UTI, but the ultrasound was clear, so i got put on another course of antibiotics and sent home. A week later, i was still in a lot of pain so i went back to the doctors where i was put on another (stronger) course of antibiotics for 2 weeks. The pain eased slightly above the groin, but the main pain on my left side was still the same.
My doctor then referred me to gastroenterology at the hospital where i had to wait weeks for an appointment, only to be told that he didn't think it was bowel or stomach related (as i can still eat and pass stools normally) and that i should have been referred to urology.
My doctor referred me to urology where the waiting list was 2 months, so i decided to get a private consultation with a urologist. The consultant done a urine test, which confirmed i had blood present in it. He went over my symptoms and suggested a CT scan in case i had a small kidney stone stuck which had been missed by the ultrasound. He was also concerned at my frequency as passing urine (this is usually over 20 times a day with anywhere between 3 to 8 times through the night). He referred me back to the NHS for the CT scan which i had a few weeks ago.
The CT scan results came back clear of kidney stones. My consultant now thinks the issue could be musculoskeletal but he still wants to see me to do some bladder studies as he is concerned about the frequency of urination. I have an appointment with my urology consultant for a few weeks time, but to see someone to investigate if the pain could be musculoskeletal there is a 3 month waiting list.
I am still in a lot of pain, both when moving and sitting (it never eases), and it is effecting my every day life. I can't go into the office to work due to the amount of pain i am in, i can't drive with it, and i haven't left the house the past few month apart from doctor or hospital visits. I am constantly feeling down and tired, and often get spells of dizziness and my eyes blacking out when i stand up (i am unsure if the tiredness and dizziness is related or not). I had a breakdown the other weekend where i cried for 2 days straight with the pain, the frustration of not being able to get a diagnosis, and not being able to do anything. I am worried that depression is kicking in with how long this has dragged on for.
I had no injury or knock to the area before the pain started. My mums side of the family also has a history of nephritis (kidney disease) with 4 of my aunt and uncles having it, but my urology consultant doesn't think there is a connection.
Is anyone able to provide any help or suggestions on what they think this pain could be as well as how to help ease it (the codeine doesn't help)? I feel like i have been passed around so many different people who still have no idea what is causing this pain.
MY Testicle Size different my Right Side Larger and left size smaller and left testicle Pain..
any effect my married life and have a children.
I'm 26 years old and I've had a dull ache in my left testicle for the past 3-4 months.
I've been to see my GP numerous times, and finally got referred to a urologist yesterday. I was there for a about 5 minutes, he had a quick feel and said nothing was wrong and didn't give me much assurance or guidance as to what I can do to help myself.
I've had a very small cyst on my left testicle since late 2008, and have been told that I have nothing to worry with that.
When I exercise I tend to aggravate the ache more so I haven't properly exercised in months which is very annoying for me.
I tend to notice the ache a lot more when I'm lying down, but it does go away after a while.
