Menopause :: Dealing With Nausea?
Feb 28, 2016
I have been dealing with nausea in and off for a few days, but I'm a little hungry if that makes sense.
Has anyone else dealt with nausea?

I'm only 40 so hadn't really thought menopause was on the way but I'm getting lots of nausea especially around time of my period - thought I was pregnant but not - I read a few things about nausea and perimenopause just wondered if anyone had this experience?

View 3 RepliesI have a thrombosed hemorrhoid since last week and it hasn't gone down at all. It was so painful the first few days but yesterday and today it doesn't feel pain any longer, just some discomfort.
The gastroenterologist I went to told me to avoid surgery because he said it will hurt a lot more if I have surgery. He advised me to just let it heal naturally. It has been over a week now, but that thing doesn't seem to shrink a bit.
I have been eating a lot of fiber and drinking a lot of water to avoid constipation. I am also doing sit bath, cream, suppository, etc.. but all that don't seem to help getting rid of this thing.
Anyone with experience on this issue? How long does it take for it to go away and anything else I should do to help speed thing up?
Any of you deal with this while breastfeeding? If so, do you have any dietary pointers to help prevent fussy baby (caused by carbs), Yet continue to maintain supply?
View 2 RepliesDoes anyone have any tips with dealing with dust mite allergies? I have done some research, I was wondering about which products to use. Does anyone use any of them and what are your thoughts? Has this helped with your allergy or simply made no difference? I would also love to buy an air cleaner.
View 7 RepliesMy boyfriend and I have been dating for a few months now, and we are both 18. When we first started dating i knew he had a drinking problem before because he went to rehab. When we first started dating everything was great he didn't drink for the first two months of our relationship. When he did start drinking we drank casually, i thought everything is okay because he would only drink with me. But then he started drinking with old friends that he would drink heavily with. I thought everything would be okay but then he started freaking out on his parents and his anger was out of control. I told him that i don't think i could deal with any of this right now and he said he would stop drinking. which only lasted about a week. he was never mean to me, but he did threaten me saying if i was to break up with him he would kill himself. he just recently went to rehab and said he isn't coming back but he still wants to be together. i love him and care about him alot but not being able to see him kills me and i don't know how to deal with it. when i told him one night that i cant do it, the whole not seeing him thing he got very emotional. This is my first real serious relationship and i just need some advice on what to do. I don't have anyone to talk to because no one understands how i feel.

View 4 RepliesOver the last few months I've been randomly getting nauseated. It usually lasts a day or two and only has actually caused me to vomit a few times. However recently it has become more severe, and more common and even more recently has become paired with an uncomfortable dizziness and weakness in my legs. My mother believed it was morning sickness so I took a pregnancy test which proved negative and haven't missed any periods in the 3 months since I was last sexually active so I'm fairly certain I am not pregnant.
View 1 RepliesThree weeks ago, to my great surprise, I started to bleed after one year. The 2-3 weeks preceding this, my breasts were so sore, I was bloated and I has the typical "stringy" discharge that I used to get before my period. I was really not expecting another period but the bleeding was heavy and lasted for just over a week.
I saw my doctor a few days ago and she that she is obliged to send me for an ultrasound and possible biopsy if the lining looks thick. She said she is not worried but I am freaking out.
Can anyone share a similar experience? I read on one website that it is actually possible to ovulate and have a period after you stop menstruating for a year. I have not had any spotting - just this one "period". Of course, everything I have read says how abnormal it is to bleed after menopause and now I'm scared that there is something serious going on. My ultrasound is booked for two days from now.
I'm 42 and recently had blood work to check my hormones. My GYN said my labs suggested post menopause. I have yet to stop having a monthly. My periods are starting to range from 30-45 days but I've yet to skip a month. My husband and I were considering trying one last time to have another baby. Very confused

View 1 RepliesMom is not eating much at all, drinking very little and is on comfort care at the nh. Yesterday when I visited she slept the entire time. The NH called today and said she was complaining of nausea at lunch. They did get her to eat a little ice cream. The dr. prescribed anti-nausea medicine. Does end stage vascular dementia have this symptom? She has lost so much weight and is not able to sit up anymore. I absolutely hate seeing her like this.
