Menopause :: Dark Or Milk Chocolate?
Mar 2, 2016
I know with Peri and menopause sugar isn't good...neck it's not good in general for anyone and you always hear watch your caffeine (because of hormones) So, which is better...dark chocolate or milk chocolate if you had to choose one. I know a lot of women have fibrocystic breasts so I'm asking this question to try and get a better understanding just how much chocolate affects the breasts and hormones if really at all. What do you think?

It's okay for the baby, right? I bought some this morning. I know regular milk is fine, but chocolate is "junk." I also bought some orange juice & water, so I think I should be fine.

I have been advised that dark chocolate can be used to lower hypertension but I am unsure as to how much to take every day, so would be grateful for any advice, thanks. My BP is borderline and I exercise daily and have a healthy diet but am 21lbs overweight which is driving up my BP. I am looking for ways to control it, as well as losing weight, and thought this might be one avenue to explore.

I have a lot of problems with acne. They seem to be impossible to get rid of, no matter what I do. I eat a lot of stuff with sugar, like candy bars , chocolate cakes and a lot of soda. Could this be the reason for my acne problem or would my acne go away if I stop eating this c**p. What do you think? Im really tired of this acne problem, its really affecting me.

I am 26 years old with no children yet..Two year ago i had an operation and my bile was removed because i had stones in the bile.Last year i had an operation and removed two chocolate cyst with laparoscopy, one on right ovary 4.5 cm and one on the left ovary 8cm.After the operation i had 3 injections ,one every month named arvekap, they stop the blood for three months. After for six months i was taking pills named qlaira, birth control pills. In December i went for check -up and i was cleared. In April when i went for check -up we found out with ultrasound that i had again two chocolate cyst one 8cm in right ovary and one 4cm in left ovary.some doctors told me that is better to make laparoscopy and others laparotomy(Iopen surgey) and i need a surgery quickly because the cyst might broke.some other doctors told me that i have to make injections to stop my period or to take pills made visane and the cyst may get smaller or dissapear and after to do surgey.what you suggest that is the better treatment to do and if i need to do a surgery now or later?if i don't do surgery now there isn't a risk that cysts might broke?

Its been 6yrs since I am married. I have chocolate cyst on my left ovary and its big than it should be. Irrespective of it, we have been trying to conceive, but no luck so far. Actually, we thought of having a baby only by the end of last year. Since its been more than 6 months now without any positive results we consulted a Fertility clinic. The doctor was very good and she prescribed me some medicines and asked me to keep trying for another 6 months. I even did a HSG test and the result was normal. So the doctor advised me against a laparoscopy now for the cyst.
So with some positivity and great hopes I started taking the medicines and its been a month and a half now, but still with no luck. Every month when the symptoms for my periods start showing at least 10 days before my date I get all depressed and hopeless. I end up crying like a baby once I get my periods, upsetting my husband who tries to remain positive all the while.
This anticipation game is killing me deeply inside. Is it normal to take some time once the medication starts? Or is it just me?
I am desperate to have a baby. All of mine and my hubby's friends and relatives who got married after us had babies. We are the only childless couple in our circle. Its given me a lot of inferiority complex lately. I have started avoiding everyone as I cant bear anyone asking me "Guys don't delay and have kids, if you have any problem visit a good Dr." I don't know if its concern or trying to know what's happening in our life. And when strangers ask "you have any child? If No, then- How many years since you are married & why don't you consult any Dr.? Its hurting me a lot. People with kids don't understand the pain I guess.
