Menopause 2 Years :: Crazy Itching On Boobs Sides And Armpits
Nov 6, 2015
I'm on meno and no period for 2 years. Out of the 37 meno symptoms sort of have 25. I'm GAD diagnosed and feel like i'm losing my mind. For the last 2 weeks i'm itching like crazy especially under/on my boobs sides and armpits. I'm a DD and it is summer here. It gets worse when i sweat but yet there is no rash or redness only redness when i scratch which i know i shouldn't. Its so embarassing. I tried coconut oil and fungus ointment which helps a bit but still itching.

I have lumps in my lower legs, shortness of breath (COPD) that is getting worst, even though I haven't smoked in a year. My eyes are not affected, just had them tested. I have been on leflunomide 20 mg for 2 months and lumps are going away. Doctor also put me on O2 at nighttime. My entire itches and that is driving me crazy, I take a baths only every 3 days, and have used all kinds of skin cream, nothing works. I have itches for 5 years, not allergies, that has been ruled out. Sometimes I itch worse than other times. I have also had all kinds of blood tests and the results always come back being OK.

Here I am again like a broken record but just don't know what to do. I woke up today nervous and jumpy. I was so nervous that I made my heart race and called the paramedics. I felt fine once they got to me which in turn made me feel like a crazy person yet again. I have called the paramedics or ran to the ER so many times that I'm scared they won't come when I really need them. I just can't help it. When these crazy feelings come on the anxiety just overwhelms me. The fluttering in my chest, the internal tremors, weird head feelings, the flu feelings, the fluctuating body temperatures is just all overwhelming. Today I just can't seem to shake this nervous and jittery feeling. I ended up turning around to come back home on my way to work. I just didn't want my coworkers to see me acting like a crazy lady today.

Let's talk dreams, ladies. I'm 47, been dealing with peri for about 2 years in a big, rotten way. About a month ago, I started having dreams. Weird dreams. Crazy, acid trip dreams. From the minute I close my eyes, 'til I wake up in the morning, dreams. Not bad or scary, but definitely weird and some are creepy. I am waking up several times a night and wondering what the hell that last one was all about, only to segue right into another. No new meds, nothing has changed..just all of a sudden with the crazy dreams, all night, every night. Even if I try to nap during the day...it happens.

I haven't had a period in nearly 3 years so am obviously well into the menopause. For the past few months I have been coming out in itchy spots that are gradually spreading over my body. Some are like blisters, some are small bumps and some are in red patches. All are itchy and driving me crackers and are really bad at night when I get hotter. My doctor is very non-committal and says it's allergy or stress or an infection. I have the suspicion it's those old hormones running riot. Has anyone else got this problem? it may not relieve the symptoms but it will hope to know that it's another menopause "thing" to deal with.

I've had vaginal itching for around two years now, as with most posts I've read I've been told it's just thrush but then I've been tested for that twice now and both tests came back negative. The GUM clinic said it could just be an allergy or thrush of the vulva (if that is even possible?). I have no discharge, other than the normal. It's red near the labia but not exactly bright red. I have small spots but I've googled those before (I can't remember what they're called but they're normal- so google tells me anyway) and whenever I've had an examination then I've been told it looks normal and healthy.
The GUM clinic gave me some thrush cream that also had steriod cream in it and I used that for about six weeks and since then the itching has been much improved. I think it seems to get worse with stress. I don't have any lumps or any white marks or anything which people seem to say are symptoms of Lichen Sclerosus. The fact that it went away with the steroid cream would suggest it's some sort of allergy but I just don't know what to? I have noticed that if I wear no knickers (under a long skirt) then there is hardly any itching at all.
I am currently going through a panic of health anxiety so I can't stop googling these symptoms and it all seems to leads to some sort of cancer so I'm petrified it could be that.
I'm in the UK and I've booked a doctors appointment for Monday where I will ask to be referred because I've had enough of this now. I just wondered if anyone had any ideas or had been through similar?

I'm a 20 year old university student struggling to cope with the constant pain and irritation of my eczema.
I get it all over my arms, armpits, neck, chest, the back of my legs and my wrists. Its scabby, sore and irresistible to scratch at. I have on too many occasions scratched it until i bleed but i really cant help it. I have had severe eczema all my life but in the past two years, it has really started to get me down. I have applied prescribed steroid creams, Hydrocortisone, E45, Doublebase.. showered and bathed in prescribed shower and bath gels and swallowed countless anti-histamine tablets in the hope of them taking away the itch and the urge to scratch.
I'm writing this as i am so fed up, just like the millions of others suffering from eczema out there, and hope that one of you out there can help me, or atleast give me some tips to reduce the irritation.
Currently i am applying Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion after i shower. It does reduce the itch and calm my skin, but the redness and dryness returns when the cream is absorbed or whenever i start to sweat. I can't partake in exercise or sporting activities as i am scared, actual fear, of how itchy and sore my whole body becomes.
As i sit here repeatedly itching up and down my arms i'm hoping there is someone out there who can give me some advice, i've had enough of being embarrassed and fed up of my skin.

I have had hot flashes day and night for the last 9 years, had no sleep in 9 years either as the hot flushes wake me up. I have spent hundreds of pounds on herbal remedies but none work. I cannot have hrt as my dad died of breast cancer at the age of 58 so doctor won't put me on it.

I am 58 years old and very late going through menopause. I still have had a very light period about once every 10 months, so not the true 12 months to be considered through menopause.
A day or two ago I had some very light spotting. Thankfully wore a pantishield. Last night without warning or feeling, I had a burst of blood that filled the pantishield along with some pain by my right ovary. That was the end of the blood, just a very little light spotting today.

Well here I am back on Norethisterone again after a 4 year break. I didn't want to take them again because I put a lot of weight on but it is necessary because I can't stop bleeding. The distress of constant bleeding which in itself causes anxiety, the tiredness and not been able to go out. Sometimes you have to give in, get yourself right to start again.Unfortunately there seems to be nothing else. Apparently at 53 I am too old to have a Hysterectomy so I am anxiously awaiting menopause.

I am 47 years old and haven't had a period for at least 2 years. However, i starting bleeding bright red blood about 3 days ago, and this has been quite heavy as i am normally only very light. It isn't like period blood. This has happened before in this 2 year period and it was bright red then too. i've been on warfarin since last december due to a pulmonary embolism in my lung. Is it necessary to see a doctor, i don't want to feel like i'm making a fuss.

I am now, however, shaking like a leaf because I have just been to see my GP - expecting him to reassure me also that it's nothing to worry about at this stage - and he looked extremely worried and has referred me to a gynae, saying that it will need looking into within the next two weeks.
In short: I hadn't had a period since 28th June 2011 until about 3-4 weeks ago when I had the preamble - clear discharge followed a few days later by sore breasts, followed a week later by a couple days of very slight pinkish bleeding. Before the one in 2011, I hadn't had a period for a year. Before which time, they had been extremely heavy for a few years.
What has freaked me out is that the doctor seemed to think this was very urgent, and says "in these cases" they would want to see me within two weeks. He is referring me today to the gynae and says that they may want to have me into hospital to do tests under anaesthetic!
I asked him if this would be general or local, and he said I would need to discuss this with the gynae.
I am almost in tears :''( I am terrified. I have never in my life spent time in hospital and I have never before had a general anaesthetic and am terrified of this. When I was 8, I had a lot of teeth out under gas and ever since I am terrified of being put to sleep.
Does anyone have any experiences of gynae involvement and what tests they might do, and how invasive they are? both in terms of literally invasive and of types of anaesthetic that can be used.
I do know/feel sure that I have fibroids but have never actually had this diagnosed, because of the same fear of hospital procedures - as soon as I knew that it would involve putting on a hospital gown and being poked around in some way, I didn't pursue investigating this via the doctor.
Another thing I haven't yet mentioned on this forum - and had to mention to the doctor, which might be why he freaked out and treated this so severely - is that I have never in my life had a successful smear test. Every time they attempted one on me, years ago, I would tense completely and seize up (it's psychological, not physical) and they were unable to get deep enough to get a good scraping. The only time they managed to get any scraping, they came back to me with the result that it wasn't enough sample to get a good testing and they would need to repeat the smear test. And I bottled out of course at that point, having pushed myself beyond my limit to try to relax enough for them to get that sample. It was like I had made my supreme effort and it still wasn't enough...
The doctor today said that in view of this history of being unable to relax in order to have a successful smear test, this is why he is referring me forthwith to the gynae and why he said they might recommend going into hospital and having anaesthetic!
I had hoped that he might have a better solution as to how I could be relaxed enough for them to do a smear, but such a solution was not forthcoming today.
I don't know what to do because I simply cannot bottle out this time, as he seemed to think it was urgent as it might possibly be serious (he said it "might be a problem with the cervix" but I can't explain how terrified I am about the hospital involvement of this.
I don't have any option but to go ahead and see this gynae. But does anyone have similar experiences who can tell me more of what I might expect to happen next? or suggest what I might ask the gynae to do or not do, in the way of tests etc?

So I am 13 about 5 9. I have slight man boobs. It drives me insane because I have a skinny face. I have no sign of a double chin. I weigh 163 lbs. I feel out of proportion. I'm not so fat anywhere else but my upper chest. I started eating healthy and completely cut soda from my diet and only drink water. Is it because I'm in puberty or what? I wanna look normal!

On the 8th of October my boyfriend and I made love together, and I don't know if I am pregnant?? I don't have any of the pregnancy symptoms except i did pee a lot on October 11-12th AND my boobs barely hurt From October 10-11th (felt like how they would when I am PMSing) they aren't dark or swollen. On October 12-13 i had some bleeding but it was normal blood and it's coming off and on I'm still bleeding now (its not brown more like dark red and kinda light) and this is about 3 days before my period. I took a pregnancy test at night and it said negative, but later found out it's best to do the test first thing in the morning so I don't know for sure what the result is?

So my girlfriend and I already had a miscarriage earlier and that was about a year ago.
She says she thinks she's pregnant, we did have unprotected sex, two weeks ago.
her last period was March 15th. She's never felt her boobs hurt or feel tender, it's been doing this for 5 days. She hasn't felt nausea or hungry, or lack of appetite. She hasn't been throwing up.
She has been drinking a lot of coffee and having anxiety about thinking she's pregnant. She hasn't missed a BC day since she started... which was about a year ago.

I had my period 2 weeks ago which went for a few days like normal, a week later i got it again the same as the first time. It eventually went away and then it came to the next week...i had sex with my partner and after i went to the bathroom to go to the toilet i noticed there was light pink discharge... which then later on turned to red and brownish a little bit heavy. Now I'm onto day 2 with it and its still brownish and red very light. I have tender boobs, and mild cramps i've been searching the web to find answers. Ive also been braking out in pimples the last week and it's only just clearing up. Im also have the implanon which i got 2 years ago, usually u get my period for 2 days each few months lightly.
