Maximum / Normal Number Of Ejaculations Per Day?
Aug 31, 2013
I am 36, but have been unable to ejaculate multiple times per day/session for as long as I can remember. Twice in one session would be rare, 3 times - unheard of. Once per day I can do no problem. The odd thing is that I can get erections no problem as many and for as long as I want - but after that first ejaculation, penile stimulation is just less "stimulating". My penis almost begins to ache, though it remains hard. I hear of people going 4-5x per night. Is my limitation physiological or psychological?

so stressed and frustrated tonight, really struggling! Head is spinning! I've taken 2 of my tablets tonight, I'm only supposed to take one but it just doesn't do anything, I'm on 30mg, does anyone know the maximum dosage a doctor can prescribe for mirtazapine? I'm just wondering if I maybe need my dosage upped?

Up until a few years ago I never had any trouble with either erectile problems, last long and enjoyed healthy orgasms. Then about 2 plus years ago right after going through a breakup I came down with the most terrible burning in my penis especially when urinating, geese was like peeing hot battery acid out. I thought could I have gotten something from the ex even though we practiced safe sex. Went to the drs, did the following. Urine culture, swab, blood work, gave me a shot and put me on some super strong antibiotics. Tests all came back clean. Meanwhile continues to take the antibiotics and no improvement after 7-10 days.
Back to the drs and he did all the same tests again, blood, urine culture to see if he possibly missed something the first time around. Again everything came back clean. The Dr put me on yet more antibiotics and another couple shots, lol. After about a month or more it eventually went away. That was one very long month or burning. Never felt so miserable in my life.
Afterwards i noticed that when engaging in sex I came very fast and upon ejaculating felt like it didn't want to come out more like someone forgot to open the valve and then I would ejaculate and kinda burns and not much comes out.No real pressure.
Went to a urologist where he also checked and cultured for everything. Again everything came back clean. He performed a procedure where they put a scope up you to have a look see as he thought maybe a urethral stricture. No blockages or narrowing of urethra. Only thing he did notice was I didn't seem to void all the way as I still had some urine in my bladder. Prescribed something call Flomax as he really didn't know and was just guessing not a very good urologists to be honest.
Terrible side effects from the Flomax and had to stop taking the meds. Needless to say I am still suffering from the premature ejaculations and uncomfortable feeling ejaculations.

I masturbate once a day sometimes 2 times since I was a teenager. Now whenever i Have a boner I pre ejaculate semen and my boners are weak. Does stopping masturbations solve my problem of pre ejaculations and weak boners.

For... quite possibly years now, I have been holding in my ejaculations whilst masturbating. By "holding in", I do not mean I physically hold anything closed or prevent anything with my hands. If I had to compare it to something, I'd say it's similar (if not the same) as stopping myself in the middle of micturition, which I assume is the closing of the external sphincter.
What I am worried about is if this is bad for my health in any way, such as semen clogging up tubules... or any other risks. I know a little about anatomy, and if it is the external sphincter that I am using to hold my ejaculation in, then I assume the semen has exited the vas deferens before I stop it, so will it simply come out when I urinate... or anything along those lines?
Just for clarity, it is not that I cannot ejaculate, as sometimes (especially if I'm particularly aroused or not in the right position to contract the muscles that stop the ejaculation) I can't hold it in properly and do actually ejaculate.

I am teenage and have been experiencing some awkward situations where I begin to feel odd. I get some butterflies in my stomach, my muscles weaken, and my brain "shuts off" and I can feel as if something might be being released from my penis. I am not too sure of what is being released as i'm a little too worried to know if it's semen or not. prior to these happening, I am not aroused of any sort, I can just be sitting down watching TV and these occur, I have masturbated in the past, but I don't have any routine when I comes to masturbation, since this began I have not masturbated, not knowing if I should or not. When this occurs, I don't have an erection, and if I do it doesn't last for too long. I am worried because this is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me, and if it is ejaculation, it is the first time I have ever ejaculated. I don't know what this is because of. Is it just a stage of growth or puberty? Is it anything I need to see a doctor about? I am worried to talk to a doctor or my parents about the situation because it is just a weird topic and I don't feel comfortable talking to them about it.

For several years I took Simvastatin lowest dose (cut in HALF) and had good cholesterol numbers that satisfied the internist. That doc retired and new internist did a CPK test last year (my first one ever) and found it elevated to 243 so stopped the statin due to fears of muscle damage.
A year later (last week) the retested CPK, after taking NO statin for a year, was 303 and chol. numbers were back up (see below)!! So, doc says go ahead and take atorvastatin because there is a percentage of people who have high CPK with no other apparent problem. He said atorvastatin is more effective re chol. lowering than simvastatin which I'd had years ago. Is that so?
I am female, 64 years old and at age 55 had a calcium scan of the heart which showed ZERO calcium score. This was because I had similar TC numbers to current numbers and one doc (a cardiologist!) said 'have the scan' -- "find out if you need a statin." When he saw the ZERO calcium score for someone 55 he laughed and said I did not need a statin.
Years later, however, this new internist/gerontologist says that's fine but that is just the hardened cholesterol seen in the zero score, not the 'soft,' which is what travels and causes heart attacks and stroke. Great! Money spent for nothing on the test! Guess I need to educate the cardiologist?
My current chol. numbers before re-starting a statin last week were: Total Chol: 251; HDL: 77; LDL: 157; and Trigs: 87. Ratio is 3.26 -- Doc says he does 'not like' the 157 LDL.
So... a week ago I started on atorvastatin at a super low dose (I cut the 10 mg. pills into quarters so 2.5 per day. I have read in multiple places that it's stronger than simvastatin so wanted to start LOW and research shows that 2.5 is often enough to bring numbers to reasonable levels. I am not aiming to have the world's lowest cholesterol.
Last night and today I developed sharp pains in upper mid section and read the 'side effects' -- sure enough -- it's a possibility. Have also experienced increase in heartburn since taking these pills for a week. Started almost immediately. Is there a connection?
NOTE: Gallbladder removed in '04, before ever starting on any statin at all -- I'm one of the many who still has occasional GB related pains, likely from sphincter of oddi problems (sludge or stones formed by liver). It is called SOD III and it's not uncommon and since it's not a frequent occurrence, there is nothing to do about it per gastro doc. I have not had an episode in three+ years until last night/today, though this was mild.
Any relation to start-up of atorvastatin and these pains? Who knows? I would prefer taking NO statins since they are known to raise glucose a little and can bring on Diabetes type 2. My fasting glucose is high normal already at 98 and type II runs in my family at older ages. Swell.
What do YOU experts think of this? Would you be concerned about taking atorvastatin (or switching to simvastatin, which I took with no obvious problems for a few years?) Or would you just say forget the statins and live your life and don't worry about it? There is NO history of heart attack in anyone on either side of my family before age 80 and no 'strokes' at all.

For the past 2 months when I have been masturbating I have what I can only describe as and ejaculation mixed with copious amounts of precum, I will be wanking (I tend to have long wanks somewhere between 5 minutes to over an hour) and after about 10-15 minutes (depending on how turned on I am) I get the feeling that I need to pee and then I start to shoot a couple of squirts of cum then a folly (I actually think flood would be the right term) of precum. It doesn't really feel like an orgasim and I stay rock hard after until I finally cum.
I have been doing a few penile exercises lately, just some light jelqing and some kegels. I haven't injured myself or felt any pain, so I wouldn't say that I have damaged anything.
I'm 23 relatively healthy and "clean the pipes" nightly.
I'm not complaining as it feels good and provides real good lube, it just gets messy
If anyone has any idea on what this could be that would be great, as I have done some research and I haven't turned much up.

I'm 16yrs old and I had been mastrubating since few yrs but now I have resisted it after a lot of determination and hard work.. when I used to masrtrubate the semen color was too normal.im afraid that mastrubation which results in ejaculations might lead to low sperm count.. though I have many yrs to get married I'm worried about the sperm count... Can the sperm count grow into required level if I stop masrtrubating for the next 8-10 yrs.....

I'm a 43 year old male suffering from very painful climax/ejaculations.
Had recent urological kidney stone removal but the pain has always been an issue before the kidney Stone issue.
Normal erections although I notice they are not as strong and I can't maintain on for as long as usual, sex is fine but I cannot thrust too enthusiastically as this hurts me, but I'm tending to avoid climax which is frustrating.
I've been sterilised so I don't use contraception, I use the withdraw method occasionally and noticed my semen contained traces of blood.

My son had some blood work done due to chronic diarrhea among many other things (he's on the autism spectrum, ADD, sweetest kid ever-had to throw that in) and we were trying to rule out celiac and who knows what else. Anyway his TSH and Free T4 were normal, but his Free T3 was slightly high. We rechecked it 4 weeks later and it's still just slightly high, with the other numbers being normal. His doctor thinks we shouldn't worry and should just monitor, I'm just looking for any advice if anyone has seen this because I keep reading that typically Free T3 is high when TSH is low?
1/18/16 test results
TSH: 2.44 UIU/ML (ref range 0.600-4.840)
T4,FREE(DIRECT): 1.48 NG/DL (ref range 0.90-1.67)
TRIIODOTHYRONINE,FREE,SERUM: 5.5 (ref range 2.7-5.2)
2/20/2016 test results
TRIIODOTHYRONINE,FREE,SERUM 5.3 (ref range 2.7-5.2)
TSH: 2.940 UIU/ML (ref range 0.600-4.840)
T4,FREE(DIRECT) 1.43 NG/DL (ref range 0.90-1.67)

So my periods are normally heavy (have to use an overnight pad during the day). Well this "period" I'm on now started like a week early and is super light. Or it was for the first three days. Now it's heavier, but still nowhere near my normal flow. My friend thinks it still might be implantation bleeding. Idk, I didn't have any with my first child. I'm freaking out and don't know.

My boyfriend and I had safe sex (condoms) twice two weeks and a half ago. I took the plan b pill a little late around two weeks ago. My period is due in two-four days but I'm experiencing hot flashes, tender breasts, cramping (might be period related) and discharge (more then Normal for me). Could I be pregnant even though my boyfriend and I were as safe as possible?

I am getting really frustrated with my dr. D not really giving me answers! In april 2013 my TSH levels were .48 (within normal range) I got tested last week on Friday and my TSH levels are .25 and my free T4 is 1.1 (within normal range). I have been feeling really sick lately with very bad nausea (I am not pregnant) and have just been feeling really down with a rapid heart rate of 103 bpm! My dr says I'm obese and that's why I am having these symptoms but seems to be ignoring my thyroid test results. Is it because it's not low enough to worry about and it's really no big deal yet? I also have many nodule and one takes some color.

I have been having low free T4 (9 pmol/L), but normal although on the lower end TSH (1.69 mIU/L).
My doctor has put me on 75mg/day synthroid, because his diagnostic is hypothyroidism. However, I understand that hypothyroidism is normally associated with low T4, but high TSH.
Based on what I have read, it seems that a low T4 associated with a normal TSH may be linked to issues with the pituitary gland (and not the thyroid) or issues with binding agents.
Is hypothyroidism and the use of synthroid indicated in my case?

I've been told I have post surgical hypothyroidism (left side, 2010) but TSH is consistently low (0.1) or low normal (.396), I don't understand the hypothyroid diagnosis with a low TSH. Can someone explain? I also had left temporal lobe brain tumors (cancerous) and gamma knife radiation. Could this be affecting the TSH level. I have many hypothyroid symptoms, basal body temp is on avg. 96.5, weight gain, tiredness/fatigue....blah, blah, blah. My endo doesn't do too much. Currently taking 50ug of levothyroxine 6 days/week and feel horrible. There are also 3 nodules in the right side now that continue to enlarge. Any answers? Thanks.
