Male, 45, Found both right and left submandibular glands swollen few months ago, blood tests show normal Ana, Crp and ig4. Ultrasound show glands full of cystic spaces. Also getting running nose with ears plugged most of the time. Getting biopsy done this week. It's been over 6 months and I am getting exhausted and depressed over this unknown disease. Any similar experience or know what I got?

Wondering if it may be related to the Pred knocking off my immune system. What do you all think. Second question I had a CTPA which is a scan that is done when looking for clots in the lungs. As part of the report there was a comment made that the Adrenal glands were not enlarged. Does this mean that they will kick back in once I get pred down. Am on 9 mgms at present?
View 16 RepliesI have 2 sebaceous cysts on my bikini line area near my rear end. They have both gotten infected and I put ice on them to bring down the inflammation. When the infection was gone, I put hot compresses on them to help get them to form a head and when they started to drain, I helped by squeezing them. I have been using antibacterial soap in that area and they haven't come back so far.
When I was first diagnosed that these were sebaceous cysts, my OB GYN had said that it was best to not have surgery because of their location. She had prescribed antibiotics - which didn't help.
I didn't see a lot of comments about cysts by females in the bikini line region, so I wanted to share my experience in case someone else has them in that area of their body. I wish there was an easier and less painful way to get these suckers off of me, but I have yet to find a way.
After multiple tests (ultrasound, ct scan and MRI) I was told I have complex ovarian cysts 5×4 cm on both ovaries and pancreatic cyst that is over 1 cm . I have 2 questions. 1. Since I very much refuse and will be refusing contraceptives , how else naturally can I cure ovarian cysts? 2. Can acidic taste in my mouth with coating on my tongue and lower back pain be due to pancreatic cyst?
My symptoms:-
-Gassy pain after eating
-Very painful menstrual periods with lots of large clots (can't go without strong painkillers, sleepless nights due to pain)
-I do feel the right ovarian cyst even when I'm not on my period (when stretching or laying on my back)
-Lower back pain
-acidic taste in my mouth with whitish/yellowish coating on my tongue
-I'm tired often. Hard to get up in the morning.

Is it possible to seroconvert after 11 weeks? After an unprotected risk I have tested negative upto 8-9 weeks including 2 4th generation test At 4 week's and 8.5 weeks and a 3 rd generation at 8 weeks,now a. Past 11 weeks I have vaginal thrush and mild shingles! Could I be seroconverting only now? Or would my immune system be weakened by hiv that fast? Also is it possible I have had 4 false negative tests and will test positive at 3 month test?
View 10 RepliesHi, over the past 6 years I have had 4 single Molluscum Contagiosum bumps develop at different times: One under each eyelid and twice on penis shaft. Each time, they have not gone away on their own. According to the CDC, the bumps can be caused be weakened immune system via HIV or Cancer treatment, Atopic Dermatitis and/or living in a warm humid climate.
None of the CDC's causes correlate to my circumstance and I do not have any STD's/STI's. Is it possible that I have a different immune deficiency? How can I test? The first time I thought it was a fluke, but the bumps seem to periodically recur and do not go away on their own.
I have been diagnosed with tension-type headache and started taking Amitriptyline 25g since June 2013. This helped a lot and the dosage was lowered to 10 mg. My question is 'can you become immune to Amitriptyline' as my headaches have returned in the last 3 weeks for no apparent reason.

No alcohol is going to be challenging as Jay was saying yesterday he likes a drink and drinks more than average person.. I'm the same I'm in the habit of drinking a bottle of red wine every night and it doesn't even get me drunk I drink it not to get drunk but just force of habit.. so that habit is going the distance and even if the GA doesnt clear up completely I'll be a million times healthier.

Had my TKR yesterday and can't believe the pain! The problem is that I have been taking Quite a large amount of strong painkillers for 2 or more years that I seem to be immune to them!
View 35 RepliesI have High but controlled Blood Pressure, and my Dr Recently been put on this statin only 10mg for high cholesterol and already feeling some side affects, Muscle aches, Tiredness and feeling weak, so I've now stopped taking them as from to-day and after looking at loads of info and other reviews I feel that this is the right thing to do, But I do have a Question can these statins also suppress the Immune System ??

View 2 RepliesSo I've been feeling really lightheaded and dazed for the last 5 months! I'm constantly tired and just feeling really weak mentally, emotionally and physically! I went to the doctors on Feb and they said my glands were swollen in the neck, when in returned a few months later they had gone down but my symptoms persisted! I again went to the doctors in April and my glands have been up ever since and I've now been referred to see an ent? I have had all blood tests which have come back clear!
Does anyone know what this could be?

I am an 18 year old heterosexual female. 8 months ago I engaged in unprotected oral sex, with no ejaculation, both giving and receiving. I know this male has had previous partners, but claims he has no STDs or anything. I had no symptoms of anything after. Since then I had kissed people and still no symptoms. I recently got involved in a relationship with a boy my age and I am his first. We have engaged in unprotected oral sex (with ejaculation) and protected sex. We have been together 5 months. I was tested negative for STDs. I did have a yeast infection but was caused by using a certain cream on the area that moisturized. Recently in the past 3-4 weeks my lymph nodes in my neck have swollen. They are about 1-1.5cm and I feel tired and no appetite. I recently got a blood test done for mono, and deficiencies, etc, but not HIV and I also fainted. The blood test came back with the result of a slightly high WBC count. My doctor said I shouldn't be worried and do not need a test. My boyfriend had cut me while fingering me and then ate me out, but neither of us had noticed. I have no fever, no headaches, no cough, chills, or anything... Just fatigue and swollen glands. Should I be worried about HIV? Is this a cause for concern? Do I need a test?

I moved out of state and my new doctor is trying all the meds I've tried before and nothing has shrunk it and it has continued to grow - slowly. He said if I want it to be taken out I can. Would you take it out or leave it?

View 2 RepliesI've got a cyst on my left ovary which is causing me so much pain spreading to the right lower abdomen and lower back too. My nights have been help for at least a month as the pain gets worse at night. My last period was on the 25th of March and I've been given clomid and tamoxifen to used CD5-9 which I haven't been able to use since my period hasn't come. Now I can't even use the drugs if I get a period because of the cyst. In serious pain right now and don't know what to do to get rid of the pain, get a period, ovulate and try to take in again.
View 1 RepliesI am 26 years old with no children yet..Two year ago i had an operation and my bile was removed because i had stones in the bile.Last year i had an operation and removed two chocolate cyst with laparoscopy,one on right ovary 4.5 cm and one on the left ovary 8cm.After the operation i had 3 injections ,one every month named arvekap,they stop the blood for three months.After for six months i was taking pills named qlaira,birth control pills.In December i went for check -up and i was cleared.In April when i went for check -up we found out with ultrasound that i had again two chocolate cyst one 8cm in right ovary and one 4cm in left ovary.some doctors told me that is better to make laparoscopy and others laparotomy(Iopen surgey) and i need a surgery quickly because the cyst might broke.some other doctors told me that i have to make injections to stop my period or to take pills made visane and the cyst may get smaller or dissapear and after to do surgey.what you suggest that is the better treatment to do and if i need to do a surgery now or later?if i don't do surgery now there isn't a risk that cysts might broke?
