How Long It TaksGonorrhea Symptoms To Appear?

I went to the Dr. For my annual pap and std culture. My results came back and it said I have gonorrhea. I have never had any symptoms such as discharge, pain or burning. I know some diseases are asymptomatic but I was told gonorrhea takes effect within days or weeks. I was in shock and crying and confused. I got treated for this diseases and have not had sex with my boyfriend till this day. We been dating for three months and still he never had any symptoms. I went back to Dr to get retested and my Dr called n he said I still have gonorrhea. How is it possible when I took all precautions and have not had sex and still no symptoms? I know gonorrhea can later turn into something worse (PID). I'm so confused. I know it's a stupid question but I'm black n my boyfriend is white is it a chemical imbalance? Did he cheat on me? Was I misdiagnosed. I have to go back n get retreated.

i was on lyrica. Worked great but too costly. Switched to gabapentin 300 3x daily 4 days ago. Flu like symptoms... Body aches but legs and joints so achy and small stabbing pains all over. How long does this last?

If a patient has long term generalized edema (pitting in the legs), what are the other possible diagnostic alternatives, after heart, kidney, liver and protein abnormalities have been ruled out? I've been struggling with this edema nonsense for several years, unremitting, and yet my docs are stumped when it come to diagnosis. I also have some GI motility and hormone stuff happening but they claim there's no connection between the two, although I do tend to get rid of excess fluid (through urination), on the rare occasions when my GI system seems to be functioning correctly
I'm 45 yr old male, no diabetes, thyroid usually normal range but flagged as mildly hyper at on few occasions, and low BP. I was very thin prior to the fluid retention, which averages between 20-30 pounds, by my estimation. I was also otherwise very healthy and active prior to these symptoms, but since becoming ill, I am often very fatigued and sleepy most days.

I admit I have had multiple Anxiety attacks, I am a cashier at Walmart, I usually get them if I had rude customer like after I had a nasty customer who came down from self-check to customer service towards me, I was in tears before that, then my manager told me to hide behind the Customer Service desk. My worst anxiety attack I had a lady who's coupons would not work, I took the coupon price off the items she could not understand that and told me to take the items off period and demanded I give the coupons back to her, I already did. My brain got foggy so I asked her if she wanted me to take the items off, she said yes so I kept doing it, suddenly I wasn't feeling to well, I went to go see my manager to ask for help when I started hyperventilating, my manager had me sit down right there at the empty register. Another cashier was able to take over and finish it for me. My manager helped me over to the bench at customer service, where I suddenly lost feeling in my hands, they ended up curling up from the pinky in. I tried prying them apart using the metal bench but that didn't even work. That scared me, the same manager asked if I was okay I told her that I couldn't feel my hands, staring down at my fists. They finally unfroze after 10 minutes. The lady was so upset with me she left all of her items.
Anyway I will get dizzy, like it ranges from feeling as though I am spinning, I have to clutch on to something to keep from falling over, to the world tipping around me with every step, to not being able to see, not sure if that's exactly dizziness, but it started with dizziness. I'll get flushed randomly. I'll have PAC's. There have been a few times I have almost fainted, one time it was from not breathing, like I noticed that I wasn't breathing, my body was just like woah what's the matter you aren't breathing, I had to have a manager finish while I sat down. I was up and doing my job before I was supposed to so I did not feel well the rest of the day. My arms will also get exhausted suddenly if I have to lift them to head level, like I can barely do a pony tail without them being exhausted, the kinda feeling you get after a hard work out.
I've had the flushing and dizziness when I was talking to my mom and hanging out with my friends. My friends all know and are really accepting if they need to stop doing whatever so I can sit down.
My doctor originally thought it was POTS if anyone knows what that is, I'm getting a tilt table test in 2 weeks, now he seems to think it's anxiety. I'm sitting down while working just in case, it does seem to help slightly. It's just annoying, this has been going on for 3 months and I'm sitting down because of the time I have almost fainted also. Anyway people will say you're lucky you get to sit down, I don't consider everything and almost fainting lucky.
I'm not sure if it is anxiety since it is just physical symptoms, I've had no mental or emotional ones. Just feels like mental ones from fear of my physical ones.
I've done a stress echo and a holter monitor and blood work done.

I'm 19 years old and every summer for 4 years i've been working with my brother in law painting houses (for the most I wore a mask while painting) a year ago I graduated from high school and decided to keep working in the painting business also on december I started smoking, I wasn't a heavy smoker maybe 12 cigarettes a week on may I reduced the amount to 6 a week then 3 on may 27 I smoked my last cigarette and 3 days later I went to the ER because I had pressure on my chest ,back pain, and I was coughing,(I also experience night sweats) they took some xrays and everything was clear and I was diagnosed with pleurisy well it's been a month now and I'm still experiencing the same symptoms.
How long does pleurisy last?
Could it be lung cancer? Or is it just the nicotine withdrawals combine with the infection that's causing all this symptoms.

i have recently found out that i'm infected with chlamydia and i'm so embarrassed and i feel so disgusting. im so mad just the fact that i might have had gotten it from my ex.because i have just been with him and one more person and i barely started being sexually active.
i hate him because when i found out which was today i called him i just told him to get checked he just replied that it wasn't from him it might of been from the other guy. he was being ignorant. i was telling him because his dirty he has sex with any stranger and plus i had sex with both guys almost around the same time so he should have it .
i just recently find out i was infected why is that they told me i had to get an ultrasound even if i know im not prego.
how long does it take to get rid of it? should i tell my mom? how would you know if u got the bacteria in your mouth?

I will have been taking Omprazole for a year a at the end of this December and although I realise that many people have been taking it longer, I wonder how long I will be taking this drug. Has anyone any thoughts on the operation that you can have to cure Hiatus Hernia, as this is what my Doc suspects I have. He has mentioned it as a thought for later, and although I am not keen on the idea of operations, I find it a sobering thought that I if I don't have the operation, will I be on this drug for life!?

I'm currently suffering from a Uti that causes me to Urinate litres of water and I was given a seven day course of Trimethoprim when the doctor found bacteria and blood in my urine. It been 48 hours since I started and I have had 5 of the tablets. There has been no difference, should it have already started? I'm male, which may mean that it takes longer to work than say a women in this situation.

I’ve been dizzy for almost 6 months now. Vestibular dysfunction, tried VRT with no real improvement and my neurologist put me on Nortriptyline. He said it would take about a month to really start working and he’d see me back in two months.
About two weeks into it, I found my limbs were feeling weak and shaky, making walking even more difficult and anything requiring a lot of standing or balancing on one leg very hard. I called to let him know, and he said to keep going since I wouldn’t know yet, I was still adjusting and he’d see me at the end of two months.
Well, it’s over a month (this is my 32nd day) and things keep getting worse. The dizziness is stronger and more persistent, the shaking hasn’t gone away, my eyesight is worse, I sometimes feel like I’m plain going to pass out and all this has given me chronic headaches for the past two weeks straight – I feel like I live on pain relievers. But I’m scared to call the doctor – he’s made it clear, two months.
So… has anyone else taken Nortriptyline for the dizzies? Is one month just when getting better might start and you need to leave it longer to see real effects?

When you get headaches, how long do they last for? I've had a pretty constant one for about a month! Sometimes it goes away at parts during the day, but it has been pretty constant. Its very dull and always in the same spot at the back of my head. Like me thinking about them constantly probably doesn't allow them to go away either.
I just fear a brain tumor! Can tension headaches last a very long time and be constant?

I've had internal hemorrhoids for the last few months. It seemed as if they were going down at first, but then they've stayed the same size and keep coming out every bowel movement attempt. The doctor has scheduled a flexible sigmoidoscopy in about 3 weeks and they don't seem to concerned about it, but I am. I'm seeing that most people's hemorrhoids go away in a couple of weeks. What should I do?

When I went in for a routine pelvic exam, I tested positive for Chlamydia. I immediately received treatment, and informed my partner that he needed to be tested and treated as soon as I was able to, which was 5 days after. Of course he wanted to have sex (even after I told him the news) and I finally agreed, but only with a condom on. He then got treatment the following day. We were informed by our health clinic to abstain from having sex at least 7 days after receiving treatment, but of course like the absolute idiots we are, we didn't. Because I am the big idiot that I am, I had to receive a second round of antibiotics which meant him and I both took them the same day following intercourse with protection. Not sure what our issue with being celibate for 7 days is exactly, but we had sex this past Tuesday with protection, but only a day after taking the antibiotics. I felt a little bit of discomfort when urinating afterwards, but assumed it was due to having sex. Just this morning, he prompted me to have sex again, and we did with protection, but afterwards he continued to try to have sex this time without a condom. I don't need anyone to tell me how idiotic it was to allow him to have sex with me without a condom, but I can't change what happened now. After having sex a second time, unprotected, this morning I had the most excruciating pain while urinating. I wanted to cry it hurt that bad. My partner has also experienced some discomfort while urinating after having sex this morning. I guess what I would like is some guidance, answers, suggestions, possible diagnosis? I am currently assuming the worst that him and I have indeed re-infected ourselves, but just wanted to throw my predicament out there for some outside opinions.
