It's been 10 days. Occasionally i take half my dose when i feel too dizzy.Overall i feel good but i sense a general malaise and dizziness.I cannot exercise as much etc.So how long will it last?
View 4 RepliesI am 49 and have contracted chicken pox from goodness knows where. Having been teaching for 10 years and already having it as a child I am flabbergasted to have caught it again and seem to have caught it during half term away from children! There is only one child in our school that seems to have been off with it recently but apparently according to my doctor, it is rife in our local area at present!. I am into week 5 and still coming out in spots!! I am depressed, fed up, worried about my job and totally wiped out!! Has anyone out there had spots coming out after 4 - 5 weeks? I thought it was all supposed to be over in 3? I am now on antiviral tablets but they just make me feel sick and don't seem to be doing anything!
View 1 RepliesFor the first time, last year I experienced SVT. The first episode lasted for about 5 hours, and the second attack lasted for 7 hours. Both times I was admitted to Hospital. I am interested to find out how long these attacks can last.? I believe that I read of someone having an attack which lasted for many weeks. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had a cyst which ruptured in June, and I'm still getting pain . Although it's only now and then when the pain comes ( for example pre menstrual or even when I need the toilet) it can be debilitating.
I'm b12 deficiency. I was diagnosed with vitamin b12 deficiency in December 12th 2014. I've had 4 weekly injections so far.i get 1 more on Monday. Then every 3 months. I know it gets stored in the liver but how long will the 5 injections last. Before the 3 month injection. I'm on neo-cytamen 1000 micrograms. I'm scared confused I don't understand this.. my stomach won't produce b12.. I'm taking centrum for all the other vitamins because I don't know what else to do. My tongue is sore and the roof of my mouth.

View 5 RepliesSo i'll get right to the point. I've been dependant on Marijuana to help me cope with various issues for quite a while now; my last breakup, low-mood (not depression) and social anxiety due to a speech impediment.
I've been using for 6 months now with week long breaks every month or so. 2 weeks ago (when I stopped) out of my own choice I started noticing withdrawal symptoms.
These include - increased heart rate, irritability, insomnia, nausea, lethargy, acid-reflux and decreased appetite. Now out of all these symptoms have dissipated (including social anxiety) with only lethargy (no motivation and energy), irritability, low-mood, anger issues and sore throat remaining. I'm on day 13 of withdrawal.
My question(s) are how long does Cannabis Withdrawal last? Will my low-mood and anger go away and sore throat go away? If so when? The thing that is troubling me the most is my sore throat. It's not extremely bad but it's enough to increase my anger and irritability.
In regards to low-mood is this normal? I've usually been a happy go-lucky kind of person but now i'm just enraged sometimes and I hate it.
I have been on percs 5mg how ever many i liked a day for 7 months and my doctor just took me off and put me on Subutex,Baclofen,Gabapentin, Now I am done with all of those and now I am withdrawing how long till i can actually sleep and have no muscle pains and my life is back to normal.. I can't deal with this I have small children and it's hard will this torture end
View 11 RepliesMy last oxycodone 5 mg was Friday at 8am. I've been on them 11 years from my prescribing doctor. I've never gone longer than 24hrs before. Just started day 5. Was on 10-12 5mg oxy ir per day. Friday I took 3 tramadols I had left from a script,same with sat. Sunday I took 2 yesterday 1.5 and today I'll take none. Also taken 2 Imodium (imodium) when needed. Usually every 12 hrs. Didn't need any Sunday or yesterday. Took two an hr. Ago. I feel so lost,I'm not working,kids are in school and for the first time in years I don't know who I am?? Thought 5 days in I'd start feeling bit better? I cry...a lot. I'm just rambling I think? Any help of what to expect in coming days or when I'll feel normal again would be great. I can't go back. I can't go back on them evil pills. I want my life back.
View 36 RepliesI've been a cannabis smoker for over 25 years now. I started off smoking solid then started smoking strong skunk about 10 years ago, for the last 4 years its all day every day. I gave up just over 3 months ago, then gave up smoking just tobacco 1 1/2 months ago and have been through all of the withdrawal issues. I'm still having trouble sleeping, I get to sleep ok but not quality sleep just mad dreams until about 3am then can't get back to sleep or if I do for a while I just dream again, this is causing me to be either stressed or depressed all day. Does anybody know how long this lasts ?

i have been told i have Diverticular disease, i have been given Mebeverine 135mg but have found they make no difference at all. I am so swollen and as they day goes on i look like i am pregnant. This has been like this for 7 months. I am so fed up and my left side is so uncomfortable. When i have a bath or shower you can see the left side swell.
View 1 RepliesI've recently upped my dosage of paroxetine to 30 mg following the doctor's advice. I'm on day 6 of 30 mg and wondered how long it would take for me to get back to "normal". I was in 20mg but it suddenly stopped working 3 1/2 months ago and I had a suicidal episode. Since then I have been living in fear and am constantly in edge. I am a single mum to a 16m girl and I just want to get back to normal and be a good mum. Please help if anyone has any experience of upping their dosage!
I am scared of being on my own in case I have another episode like the one 3 months ago where I had to be taken to hospital. It was very traumatic and has ruined my life. I know I don't want to kill myself, I wouldn't do that to my daughter or family, I just get strong waves sometimes and feel exceptionally low. I know this has occurred because of a mess up of my medication, when weaning me off the tablets, the doctor I'll advised me to cut them in half. I now know this was a stupid thing to do. I just wondered how long it will take me to even out or if I'm ever going to get back to " normal"
I have recently been diagnosed with IBS, but my main symptoms are not so much the spasms / pain, but a nasty cough associated with acid reflux, and the sore throat that goes with it. It is worse in the mornings, and if I lean forward. Eating / talking / stress also bring it on more. Does anyone else have this, and, if so, does anyone know if Mebeverine helps with this too, or is it just the spasms that it helps ? I see from reading some other posts that it does seem to help diarrhea.

View 4 RepliesI recently started dating this guy about a month ago. We did oral sex for the first time last weekend and he literally only lasted probably 30 seconds. I gave him oral a couple more times the next few days and the same thing happened. He told me he usually lasts 15-20 minutes when someone's giving him oral. Then, earlier this week we had sex for the first time. The same problem arose and he came within 30-40 seconds. He was really embarrassed and said he never really has that problem. I was with him last night and he didn't try to initiate sex or anything after we went to bed. In the morning, I really wanted to do it, but he wasn't taking any of my hints and didn't seem like he wanted to. I guess he realized that I really wanted to do it this morning so he gave in and only lasted no more than 40 seconds again. He was very upset and embarrassed. While we were doing it he was actually shaking. It doesn't bother me that he can't last very long, it just bothers me that it really bothers him. I don't want to keep embarrassing him and make him feel bad when we have sex, but I feel like us having sex more often is the only way it can really get better. Can anyone tell me why he does this or what I can do to make him not feel bad when it happens.
View 2 RepliesI'm 37 and for the last 12 months my period has only ever lasted a day. I only ever wear a panty liner because its that light. Is this normal? Or does it mean that i am become infertile? I am not on any contraception, my periods are regular but i haven't been able to fall pregnant even though i am having regular sex. I haven't been on any form of contraception for the last 3 yrs but prior to that i was using depo provera injections for 2 yrs.
View 1 RepliesFor over the past 3 years (starting around July 2010) I have had a constant headache. It is not extremely intense but is dull and always present. Along with this headache I am also constantly fatigued and my head feels very fuzzy, like it's stuck in a cloud. I should also include that I am otherwise in good health, I am a normal weight, I eat properly, get enough sleep, can run around 7-8 miles without stopping, etc.
I have talked to a few doctors, had various tests done including a CAT scan but none of the tests ever gave any results. I was diagnosed with migraines (even though its not plural, it's just one that has never gone away) and given multiple migraine medications. Sumatriptan does not work and actually makes my head hurt significantly worse. No pain medications have any effect on the pain, I have tried many OTC and prescription meds, from aspirin and ibuprofen to stronger stuff like norcos and percocet, but nothing has had any positive effect. I have been prescribed two different antidepressants but they have the unfortunate side effect of making me tired and drowsy, which when added onto my already fatigued state makes it nearly impossible to get out of bed in the morning.
I am writing this because in the past few months my head has been hurting me significantly more and to be honest it is scaring me pretty bad. I have not had much luck with any of the doctors I have seen, they have no idea what is wrong with me and just give me scripts that don't work. I am not too familiar with migraines but I don't seem to fit the symptoms, except that my head hurts. A doctor at UCSF told me that migraines come in cycles but I could not find on the internet someone who had cycles with constant pain lasting many years at a time.
