View 57 RepliesI'm 27, I got ejected out of a car at 17. I broke my hip and shattered my pelvis. My first surgery was to reconstruct my pelvis than a year later I had a total hip replacement. I hurt every single day, the worst pain is from sitting to standing and walking that initial step on my bad hip is excruciating. I don't take pain meds anymore if anyone has any tip for pain relief.
View 19 RepliesI don't know exactly where to start or how to describe my issue, but I know something isn't right. 2 days ago I woke up as I normally do from a good night's sleep and immediately knew something wasn't right. I was feeling faint and dizzy, but it wasn't a constant feeling that wouldn't go away. I would have these episodes about every 5 or 6 seconds apart from one another. 2 days later (today) it hasn't gone away and it's actually getting worse. It feels like I'm getting hit with a hammer and that's when everything starts to go faint and an instant dose of dizziness smacks me in the head. I honestly feel like I'm going to just kill over and pass out, but I don't. after a few seconds it stops, but then after I take a few more steps it does it all over again. This happens whether I'm standing up, walking, sitting down or even laying down. It just won't stop. Prior to this, there was a week where I got about 5 or 6 major migraines in one week. Not sure if this is related or not? I have no ins.

View 1 RepliesFor the last 3 weeks I am getting severe buttock pain when I stand up after sitting or lying on the bed. Thereafter when I walk for 2 min the pain subsides and I feel absolutely normal.
Again when I sit the cycle continues. Sometimes the pain moves from bottom to back of thigh.
I have consulted few doctors, one said Hamstring strain, other said SI joint and piriformis muscle issue and finally the last one said disc prolapse.
Has anyone experienced such issue before and if yes what was the diagnosis.
been suffering with really sore soles of both feet after walking or standing for too long they get that sore I want to walk on the sides of my feet just to take the presume off is this my fibro or something else??happens a few times now they do feel better after a nice warm soak
View 7 RepliesI am a 41 year old mom of four and a foster son. I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis of the lungs about 10 years ago and soon after began experiencing numerous cardiac symptoms. I experience extra beats, which I have had occasionally since I was about 21, but have also experienced incredible pounding and pressure in my upper belly, chest, neck, and up into my ears. It is similar to feeling like someone turns up the pressure of my blood vessels like turning up a hose or something and you feel every heart beat so strong and powerful. This would happen with any slight exertion (sitting up, standing, trying to walk up a slight incline etc.) My blood pressure and heart rate would rise drastically (once documented in the hospital my bp. went from normal 114/70 to 167/100 and hr. went from 70 to 160s just from standing slowly) My husband, for a while, had to carry me up the stairs because of the pounding and pressure. I would have to do a little bit of exertion and then stop to let the pounding up my throat, neck, head etc. die down some and them take some more steps. or whenever I stood/stand up have to wait for the rush of pounding pressure to lessen and then start to walk. I have been on metoprolol for about three years now to help extra beats and also to control the surge of my bp. and hr. The docs can't figure out why its happening. The meds have helped a little so that I can walk around now but not much more then that. Thing are worse around my period and that's the only pattern I have figured out. The extra beats make me feel like I'm a slave to them . I feel like they control what I do and I don't do. I don't want to leave the house so I won't experience them when I'm away from where I feel the most safe and comfortable(home) My life has changed so much. I use to play volleyball and be active and miss it so much. I stay at home and my family goes to hike. Even when I'm having a better day and Id like to try and do some activity I'm so petrified that I'm going to do too much and something is going to happen. I'm so tired of feeling this way. I feel like I don't have a second that I'm not thinking about my heart and is it going to stop, or should I try to walk up the stairs cause I know that it makes me feel worse and leads to extra beats, pounding etc. I tend to notice that lifting, bending, sitting up from laying down tend to bring on extra beats, but sometimes its just after I sit or lay down. It makes it so hard to just relax cause I'm always wondering when the next one will come and how bad will it be and how bad will it make me feel. I tend to yawn and burp more when I having more pvc's/pac's
View 1 RepliesDoes anyone experience a rise in blood pressure and heart rate when they stand up or do slight exertion? Also, my heart pounds up into my throat, neck and ears and get extra beats in my heart. I am also very sensitive to adrenaline. Even the smallest things can get my heart pounding. Doctors can't figure it out and there solution is to keep me on a beta blocker (Metoprolol extended release) They have doubled my dose now from 25ml. once a day to 50ml. once a day. I just want to find out why it's happening. It was suggested to me that it possibly could be some form of dysautonomia. I would appreciate any advice I can get.
View 3 RepliesFor several years now both my heels hurt after standing or walking for a little while. After a couple of days rest I am able to walk for maybe 30 mins before it becomes unbearable and standing seems to be worse. I have seen podiatrists, followed stretching plans, bought new shoes according to my gait analysis, customised insoles and the job lot. I was wrongly diagnosed with Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis which were cleared after an MRI and ultrasound scan. No heel spurs or cushion problems etc and back MRI scan has ruled out root nerve issues although a nerve conduction study presented some mild root nerve S1 weakness. A little further info is that my left foot is significantly worse than my right and my left knee has been diagnosed with patellar tendinopathy.
I'm in IT and do spend a lot of time at a desk but get out to the gym a couple of times a week for some light cycling and stretching. I have found that my core is pretty weak and the likely cause of my Patellar Tendonitis. I'm now working on core stability and looking to fix any muscular imbalance.
My consultant is stumped and does not know whats causing the pain so I asked her to rule out Baxters nerve compression which she is looking into.
I would really like to get any help with this as it's been causing me pain for several years and not allowing me to get on with day to day activities as I can't walk or stand for short periods of time.
I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. If I stand for a long time or sit in a chair without head support, I end up with a horrible headache. But if I can lie down or sit in a chair with head support so that I'm not having to carry the weight of my head, I don't get headaches. Anyone else?

View 1 RepliesI have dizziness everyday while walking, standing as well as feeling off balance, unsteady on my feet like I am gonna fall over. I have had my ears checked by an ENT doctor in 2014 and he said I had meniere's disease so he treated it as that but medicine didn't help so went to another ENT doctor in 2015 who said I don't have meniere's disease but have hearing loss in both ears and did a test on my vestibular function which he said was normal so he referred me to a neurologist and I went and had an MRI done which was normal as well. I have had blood work done in November last year and my white blood count was a little high but not concerning and everything else was normal....no diabetes. Also had a stress test done on heart and was normal. I am at my wits end with this cause I don't know what's going on. I plan to see an eye doctor soon. Oh and I was diagnosed with anxiety 4 months ago but this dizziness and off balance feeling has been going on for 2 years now. I am on blood pressure medicine too. don't know what else to do. Does anyone have these same symptoms ?

View 8 RepliesYesterday I tried anal for the first time with my partner and he had already entered my vagina before trying my bum, it didn't really hurt but after a bit he stopped and said I was bleeding.
I went to the toilet and wiped myself and there was some blood from bum on the paper. It doesn't hurt or anything and it isn't continuously bleeding, there's just been a few spots, is this normal after anal for the first time or should I be worried?
The only time there has been blood since is when I've been for a bowel movement, which I expected as obviously each time this aggravates the slight tear.
I estimate most of women do not care if a man is circumcised or not. After all, what do they fall in love with... the man or his penis? In my opinion women who claim that circumcision is better, who seem to prefer circumcision are insecure about their femininity and think that circ is a way of leveling the playing field.

View 11 RepliesAlright ladies i need some advice. me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years. and in the beginning our sex life was AMAZING... i mean hes a god. i ended up being pregnant but due to unfortunate circumstances i had to have an abortion. Ever since then we have not had sex..... that was nearly 2 years ago... i know. i have tried but it hurts. (my mans packing) i also start uncontrollably shaking and crying. i also have no sex drive! i mean none. and before i was well... always ready.we do all the other stuff except i cant even let his finger in me and even then he has to kinda talk me into doing the stuff we do do. i know it has something to do with the abortion. but i really would appreciate some advice. i know alot of people say counseling. but there is along waiting list to get in. maybe just some advice or if someones been through something similar.
View 2 RepliesI am not very sexually experienced at all. I've had two partners, my first was 5 years ago and he was my boyfriend on and off for 5 years. I have a new boyfriend now, it's weird being with someone else now but I love him to death we've been together 7 months.
I need some advice please! Guys seem so simple, they orgasm, boom they're done. Me? I don't know when I do, my previous boyfriend was always like jeez you're finishing again (I guess my female stuff would go everywhere kind of like a guy) it would happen a few times. And I'd be confused if I was done or not. But most of the time my whole body would tingle after we stopped having sex, it would feel like all my skin fell asleep and woke up and tingled lol especially in my hands and face and lips, like everything was just super weird and tingly and I'd have weird vision but feel very relaxed and my sex drive would instantly go away for about a week or a few days. Me and my first sexual partner would have sex probably a few times a week for all those years.
Same with my new relationship, but my boyfriend is very confused as I am too! His main goal is to get me to orgasm once. And he feels like crap that he can't get me to. But last time we did it I was tingly like that and my sex drive instantly went away. When a lot of the other times before I'd still not be finished but he would. We only have had sex a couple dozen times out of the like 7 months we've been together..I am getting FINALLY a lot more comfortable being intimate with him. I never thought I could date again after my long term relationship ended but I guess I am human and can finally adapt to someone new! It took me 7 months to even...touch him down there
Is that somewhat of an orgasm though? Do all women orgasm differently? I am very confused! Is the whole body tingle part of it? Meh it sort of feels like when your foot falls asleep and wakes up but it doesn't have that "ouch" feeling just that tingle all over my body for about 10 mins after.
I have been masterbating for years with a dildo and I have never had so much blood come out of my vagina. I had been playing with myself and I felt what seemed like a lot of cum but instead a whole bunch of blood came out of me. There was no clear or white liquid to be found at all. I have cramps always as well, not big ones but just enough to feel it. What could be this issue?

View 1 RepliesI am going to the doctor in a week but I wanted some possible ideas of what it could be on here.
I am a 19 year old girl, I've been with my boyfriend for 3 months. STD free. I am on the birth control Implanon. But its gone now. We have sex about every other day. He is bigger than the previous guys I've been with.
The last two weeks have been a bit of an issue. Sex feels fine, but right after we're done I have this pretty bad pain in my lower abdomen, where my uterus and cervix is. It just feels exactly like very bad period cramps. I have no other symptoms. I am supposed to be getting my period in about a week. The only change I can think of is he has been lasting longer lately, to where he's inside of me for 45 minutes straight. The pain only lasts for about 10 minutes after we have sex.
Is it possible he is being too rough and too long in me which is causing pain? I am a petite girl. Or is it something else? Sorry, I'm a bit of a hypochondriac. Could it be an infection?
