View 1 RepliesFor... quite possibly years now, I have been holding in my ejaculations whilst masturbating. By "holding in", I do not mean I physically hold anything closed or prevent anything with my hands. If I had to compare it to something, I'd say it's similar (if not the same) as stopping myself in the middle of micturition, which I assume is the closing of the external sphincter.
What I am worried about is if this is bad for my health in any way, such as semen clogging up tubules... or any other risks. I know a little about anatomy, and if it is the external sphincter that I am using to hold my ejaculation in, then I assume the semen has exited the vas deferens before I stop it, so will it simply come out when I urinate... or anything along those lines?
Just for clarity, it is not that I cannot ejaculate, as sometimes (especially if I'm particularly aroused or not in the right position to contract the muscles that stop the ejaculation) I can't hold it in properly and do actually ejaculate.
My mom is eating less and less everyday. I have been trying all kinds of food to eat, and only polish sausage and potato chips seem to work. When all else fails I give her a scoop of Ice cream in some glaucoma. Last night she had a ice cream cone and mashed potatoes for dinner. The Doctor told me to give her whatever she will eat.
She will go to the bathroom to make a bowel movement, and I help her when she is finish, but she holds her urine all day and she goes in her diaper while she is sleep. She wears depends during the day. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, and she is not agitated.
She underlines the words in her Dr. seuss books and plays with her doll. Her toes and foot have spasms as well as her hands, and its hard for her to snap her night gown. Its takes her a while to recognize me or other family members. She doesn't have many words left and i have to show her what to do. She went to bed without her meds because she kept trying to suck and chew the pill and she spit it out in the toilet and rinsed her mouth with the water in the cup. (LOL) This happened twice. Medicare only gives me 30 days worth of medicine.
My problem is I want to stop sending my mom to the adult center, because she will not let them feed her and she will not eat. She just sleeps, and doesn't participate and any activities. Shes stays 4 hours enough time for me to do whatever I want. I am retired and 53 yrs old, I can do this.
My family helps on weekends, but they seem to think she needs to socialize. They do not see her slump in a chair staring and looking weak with dried lips, and seeming depressed thinking she is going to stay there. I can't stand it anymore. I kept her home for two days and it takes two hours, but I got food, water and meds in her.
I let her sleep as long as she needs too, and every hour or so I offer her something to eat and encourage her to sip a drink from her cup. I walk her around the house and we look at the flowers. I have a nice wheel chair that medicare provided and my friends come along to help me run errands.
I don't need to send her away to be with other dementia people, cause I have support, and don't work. Today I called the social worker to request in home care for three days a week and 4 hours each day. Because I think at this stage she needs one on one stimulation and quiet. She sits in her chair at the window and sleep. The doctor told me her dementia is very severe and she needs 24 hour care and requested to see her in 4 months.
She is 71 years old. This all started in 2002 when dad died. She became very depressed, and in 2007 she started getting lost and not paying her bills, and doctor also says there were signs of mini strokes, and she is type 2 diabetes.I know my mother is not going to get better, but I want her to feel safe and secure. My sibling are all younger than me, and have jobs and children in school. I retired and moved back here to take care of things and my three little sisters are scared of whats happening. I don't know what's next but I and here for them and her.
I am a girl who has had this problem for a year and a half. When I hold it, it burns, when I urinate it burns, and after it burns, hurts, and feels so uncomfortable sometimes. I have seen so many doctors who specialise this things. It's not an infection and there's no bacteria. But the weird thing is, is sometimes it doesn't burn when I urinate or even after. I could have a really bad day, then the next day it could be better. It goes on and off. I have tried a food diary, and there's nothing that can cause this. When I have cookies, crackers, candy, things with sugar on top or things with salt on top, it burns more. It is very frustrating and confusing. No one ever understands my pain and burning I go through everyday. I cry sometimes. I have drank cranberry juice but it still hasn't helped. I have also tried many products to put on the skin but that doesn't help. I really don't know if it's on the outside or inside. But, my doctor told me that it could me muscle, that are to tight. So now i'm doing exercising n relaxing those muscles. I really don't know if it's the answer but has anyone ever dealt with kind of the same problem I have? Has anyone done the muscle theraby?
View 4 RepliesToday morning I waked up after sleeping about 9 hours (without going to the bathroom and after drinking a lot before the sleep). After going to the bathroom I felt pretty acute pain in my lower abdominal. It became milder during the day, still preserving though and appearing sometimes with more strength while changing position (sitting, or standing) and also reminding about itself sometimes after urinating (but not always). It kind of feels like muscle pain and earlier could be felt also while touching the muscles close to the penis. Now it is way milder, but didn't go. Can this be a result of muscle stretch or something like this?

When I was finally able to go, I felt a strange slight pressure (or something) near the opening of my vagina once I finished urinating and my muscles contracted. My labia minora might be a little swollen; I can't quite tell. Could my urethra be swollen? UTI? The sensation isn't severe, but a little uncomfortable when I think about it.
I am 25 years old and have never had children or any known serious health issues.
I would really appreciate some advice as to what this could be to ease my mind before seeing a doctor.
Just wanna know if anyone ever has gotten arm weakness from holding baby all the time or neck weakness even..

The first time it happened, I took him to the doctor and they said it was a breath holding spell due to the fact that it always happens when we he is hurt and about to scream but cant seem to catch his breath. But after several other events, I noticed that his back arches, his hands curl up and his arms and legs stiffen and sometimes foams a little at the mouth. I think this is a seizure, although he has never convulsed. He is going back to the doctor tomorrow, but I guess the treatment is the same... nothing. I wish there was something I could do. Hello! I was recently back in February diagnosed with hpv. I had full blood work done and I have no other diseases or infections. I've also not had sex since before the testing. I recently noticed I have two painful blisters, one on the inside of my labia and the other on the other lip. I shave and I've had ingrown hairs but these definitely don't feel the same. They are super uncomfortable. I'm unable to go to the doctor until The end of the week and wanted to see if anyone knew what they might be? And any temporary ideas for pain relief? Over the counters pain killers do nothing. Also, I have extremely bad allergies to pollen and with the pollen, came these blisters, so I am not sure if they are related. I've added pictures below. My chiropractor attributed it to 4 bulging discs that I have in my neck. 3 days ago I started feeling my hands tingling and going into spasms. The next day, my jaw felt tired, and the day after that my body started twitching uncontrollably in different area but mostly my legs. Are any of these signs indicative of ALS or can they be a result of stress related to worrying about ALS since most of the symptoms only appeared after I read about them?

View 1 RepliesI've got eczema on my hands, I've had it for several years now, it started off being a tiny patch, probably no more than 1cm by 1cm. Currently it's over the back of both of my hands and it seems to be spreading to part of my right arm.
I have been to the doctor three times and every time they've said it's eczema and they give me a steroid cream and instruct me to use aqueous cream or an emollient cream throughout the day (everyday). This however doesn't seem to help at all and i've told my doctor and he's said there is nothing more he can do.
Another thing is they're incredibly itchy (though I think I'm doing well not to itch them), they also seem to release this clear liquid (which is really reflective). Is there anything I can do about it?
Is it true that stretching up high (like stretching your hands up high, like reaching for something that high) is bad? I'm hearing all these stories is bad because it can tangle the baby's umbilical cord around his neck. Is this true? Or is it just a old wive?

For weeks now the palms of my hands have been so dry, they look like I have dipped my hands in flour and shaken it off but left the residue. It is up my fingers and between them too but the backs are fine. I have had to take my rings off. I have tried lots of different creams that I use for "Winter dry hands" but nothing seems to work. I only seem to get an itch on the palm of my left hand but that is only now and again.

Prior to the start of this condition six months ago, there had been no problems of this type other than on the outside of the hands during the winter months. I am a 48 year old male in good health and have held the same job and job conditions for the past 25 years so my environment has not changed. I have tried many OTC cream products with no positive effects. I work with my hands and am becoming desperate for help in finding a solution.
