Though vaccine is useless for us now it is coming in my mind y not take it weekly along with my interferon shots. Can it make any difference? Has this thing ever studied on immune change. Any idea or previous study? We have done several self experiments so can this be tried as well but some info on this if any?

I received a tetanus toxoid booster in early December. I had no reaction until three weeks later, when I began having shoulder muscle pain and tingling down to my fingers. This pain has lasted 10 days. According to drugs.com this could be a rare reaction but other than "call your doctor" it says nothing about how serious this is or what can be done about it. I called my doctor, who did not think this was serious. Any thoughts?

I now have a date for a vulval biopsy as the specialist thinks it may be LS. There is a white patch there - which amazed me because two GPs told me that there were no white patches.
Anyway I need to have this biopsy done mid July - my GP told me that if it does show LS then in all likelihood they would want to remove the white patch (vulval surgery scares me to bits!). He said the steroid creams are not much good and they prefer to take the bit away in the hope that it will remove the risk of cancer developing. I am left wondering a) how painful is that op, has anyone had it done? It will be under a local anaesthetic I think. and b) would LS come back and I need to have it all done again?

My name is Kevin I have movable lump under/around my left collarbone. It seems to have become slightly larger over past three years, feels smooth and round but is firm (cant be squished too easily). It sits almost behind collarbone but just on the underside of it. It can be moved on top of collarbone and also from side to side a bit. Not sure size (possibly 2 cm). I am concerned that it is lymph node and possibly lymphoma or liposarcoma. I have no other symptoms. Male age 38 non smoker.
Anyone with a similar experience would be a huge help to share their story. Thanks in advance

I searched for 'cholesterol vaccine' on the internet but could only find scientific papers and financial information. I read some but it is really over my head.
Did anyone here use it ? Does your insurance cover it ?

My daughter has had this virus for about 6 weeks now. The doctor told me they would go away on their own and that we just had to let it run its course. At this point she only had about 3. She now has over 20 of these nasty little bumps under her armpit and yesterday I discovered a few tiny ones on her torso. I have started using ACV and in the course of two days the 2 biggest ones have turned black. I believe this is a good sign that the molluscum is now dead! I followed most people's advice and soaked cotton wool in ACV and then secured it on the spot with a plaster. She said it stings a little, but nothing major. Fingers crossed the rest of them respond in this way. My only concern is that her skin does look a little red, but that could easily be because of all the plasters she has stuck on her.
Why don't they make a vaccine for this horrid virus?

I've had odd symptoms for many stinging pains, muscle twitching rashes, pancreatitis that is chronic but clear via scans.
Well, almost 3 weeks ago, a large red mark appeared on left breast. I've been going back and forth to doctor as I've wanted to rule out inflammatory breast cancer-it presents with redness etc but no lesions, hard to diagnose. Today when I went back, the doctor felt nodes under my armpit, confirmed during ultrasound, but said they looked benign and small. He said actually it could pop up from autoimmune. He did admit it was odd. It was on the same side as affected breast and not the other. I'm going to get an MRI of my breast as IBC doesn't show on mammogram or ultrasound often.
I've had swollen nodes in the past. I noticed a few times on my jaw line.
I haven't been diagnosed with lupus, tests many years ago were totally clear as were vasculitits tests. But curious if anyone has had nodes on one part of the body pop up. Im praying its not IBC. I'd much rather it be something else. IBC is the most aggressive form of BC and spreads in a matter of weeks, so grasping for other explanations

In Ukraine, the dog has bitten me. At the end of treatment, 6 doses of rabies vaccine is recommended in the report. They make 4 dose in Ukraine and I come to my home (Istanbul) and 5. dose is finished. But total five doses of vaccine are made in Turkey. I do not understand why they want to dose 6. I have a healthy body. 6. dose is important? OR optional?

I in a relationship with a girl and it all started as arrange marriage and now it has turned into love last week i did my Hep B(HbsAg) test (Its Chronic) and i came positive there after i did my Liver Function Test and everything is very good in liver as per doctor , I'm currently going through AntiGen E and AntiBody To Antigen Test and reports would be coming today but now the real problem has come from her parents which is quite obvious as they don't want risk their daughter life by getting married to a Hep B patient.
Myself and her even visited Doctors together and consulted about the disease and they said its all fine to get married once she takes Vaccines of 6 Months (3 doses) and i should keep checking my liver every year just to keep a watch and i should eat healthy and stay fit apart from that there are no medicines for it to cure.
Now she is going to take her parents to the doctor to let all their doubts cleared by doctor itself same doctor whom we visited she understands(She is physiotherapist) the things but does not want to go ahead if there a health risk involved here which is rationally correct as well.
Are there people here who went ahead with ahead marriage despite knowing partner is Hep B positive ?

I am a fresh graduate and I was looking for a job then found one, I was hired and before I could start they wanted to get my medical result first. They told me I won't be able to get the job anymore since my result in HBsAg was reactive. In the medical it says "3516.26 S/CO; The Cut-Off value reported for this assay cannot be correlated to an end-point titer; rechecked and verified." Is my Hep B chronic? And can I still get a job even though I am now a carrier of this disease? I am really depressed now it's like I've wasted 4 years of studying

Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ:GILD) files its New Drug Application (NDA) with the FDA seeking clearance of tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) 25 mg for the treatment of adults with chronic HBV infection. The company is transitioning its product line to TAF from TDF (tenofovir disoproxil fumarate) because it is just as effective at a dose less that one tenth that of TDF and is less stressful on the bones and kidneys.
The company intends to file its TAF Marketing Authorization Application (MAA) in Europe this quarter.
