I want to ask, after how many moths/years will I die, after getting the infection, if no treatment is started. And also after how many moths/years will I develop liver cancer, if no treatment is started.
View 5 Repliesfor some years i have been feeling dreadful but now i have got to the point where i can't cope.with it any longer. doctor says its just anxiety but doesn't realise i am on the verge of getting myself sectioned. i am constantly on edge, i can't eat as i feel like i cant breathe and feel like i cant swallow. when i'm not thinking about it i can eat fine with no problems but not felt normal for over 12 months. i'm living off soup and soft things like mash etc. from the moment i wake up i feel extreme panic.
i'm forcing myself to go to work even though the walls feel like they are caving in, i.get pains in my chest, i feel dizzy, my heart sometimes races or sometimes i can't feel it and think i'm going to.die. i'm always googling things and finding myself experiencing more awful symptoms.
i have found myself in extreme panic over irrational things like isis. to a point where i've not wanted to leave the house in fear of being blown up.
im convinced i'm dying and my family and everyone know about it but they aren't telling me. there's so many other symptoms.
Had injection of cyclizine for nausea during recent hospital stay.
Was asked if I was allergic but hadn't had it before.Immediately felt terrible, thought I was dying, heart rate up to 135 BP 200 even temp up to 38
Also felt really sick Treated conservatively over the next 3 or 4 hrs, ecg and frequent bp etc. Dr. said antidote could have caused even more problems. Never want to go through anything like that again. Hope hospital records these allergies and informs drug companies.
So it all started just over 3 weeks ago I had a shooting pain in my head followed by my whole body going weak and numb-like, I panicked! After that I haven't been right. I've had shooting pains all over my body, tingles mainly in the left hand, dizziness, smoky vision, flutters under the skin, scared that my limbs were gonna stop working so i've constantly been checking them, I now have pain on both sides of my abdomen under my ribs and I constantly and I mean constantly feel soooo sick! I've been to 4 diffo docs all of which say it's my anxiety! They've only checked my blood pressure and pulse felt my tummy etc how can they be so sure?
Pic honestly feel sooo I'll i'm not getting out of bed I can't eat ... I think I'm on the verge of having a breakdown! Everyone around me has had enough but they don't understand how sick I feel!
anyone ever very honestly felt like they were physically ill all day everyday from anxiety?
Is it safe to relax your hair? I've researched it and still can't get a sure answer. Some articles say it's safe and some say it's not.
View 2 RepliesI'm terrified of dying and losing my loved ones I keep thinking about how death actually looks like how I can't do nothing to stop it how I break down when I think about dying I even try praying at night asking to take my life so my family can live even tho I won't see them again. I get butterflies in my stomach when I have to go to work I start shaking. Can't even take a breath because I'm scared that when I come back someone will not be there !! I keep thinking that I'm a fail and they don't want me but then I also think about losing them. I cry myself to sleep at night thinking no on cares. I don't even go out with my friends anymore because I'm scared they don't want me there. Even tho the do. I just keep putting myself down and overthinking every little thing !!

I suffered from a disease/illness where my glands swelled up til they were huge and you could clearly see them. I had a fever all day, i would go cold and the hot, i had no energy at all and was generally sick! The doctor gave me some antibiotics and it cleared up.
Ever since then i have not been myself. I feel sick at some point during the day, i constantly have a weird feeling in my head, its not pain as such, but like a numbing feeling and irritation. I feel like im going to faint all the time, im weak and very tired, i also get chest pains from time to time & my breathing is rubbish, its hard to breath at times, i generally feel like im dying
I have had countless blood tests and all of them showed nothing!
This totally upset me because im frustrated, i just want it to be over!!
The doctor told me just to have lots of water and exercise.
My family were convinced that i suffer from anxiety and panic attacks!
As i had a panic attack due to the fact i felt so ill i thought i was dying!
It wasn't just happening to me for no reason the attack.
so they took me to the doctor where he told me my symptoms were that of anxiety and panic attacks so he gave me some tablets to take.
But i still feel the same!!
I do not believe that i have anxiety
I am sick if people believing that is what it is!!

View 1 RepliesI in a relationship with a girl and it all started as arrange marriage and now it has turned into love last week i did my Hep B(HbsAg) test (Its Chronic) and i came positive there after i did my Liver Function Test and everything is very good in liver as per doctor , I'm currently going through AntiGen E and AntiBody To Antigen Test and reports would be coming today but now the real problem has come from her parents which is quite obvious as they don't want risk their daughter life by getting married to a Hep B patient.
Myself and her even visited Doctors together and consulted about the disease and they said its all fine to get married once she takes Vaccines of 6 Months (3 doses) and i should keep checking my liver every year just to keep a watch and i should eat healthy and stay fit apart from that there are no medicines for it to cure.
Now she is going to take her parents to the doctor to let all their doubts cleared by doctor itself same doctor whom we visited she understands(She is physiotherapist) the things but does not want to go ahead if there a health risk involved here which is rationally correct as well.
Are there people here who went ahead with ahead marriage despite knowing partner is Hep B positive ?
I was wondering if anyone here has coinfection and what are you doing about it?

They told me I won't be able to get the job anymore since my result in HBsAg was reactive. In the medical it says "3516.26 S/CO; The Cut-Off value reported for this assay cannot be correlated to an end-point titer; rechecked and verified." Is my Hep B chronic? And can I still get a job even though I am now a carrier of this disease? I am really depressed now it's like I've wasted 4 years of studying

After 1month of viread, my alt increased from 200 to 373.

I have been diagnosed with Hep B. I was admitted to hospital with exceptional readings (ALT >4,000, bilirubin 180, all pho 162, gamma get 417, AST >2,500). I've been given various drips and the numbers are coming down. ALT has now halved. In addition to the drips I was also put on Viread.
My physician was concerned how my immune system was attacking the liver and between all treatments, in three days the readings are coming down. My jaundice is going and my urine now looking paler (almost normal).
Given the symptoms indicate a severe acute response to infection, does this suggest my body will put up a good fight to rid itself of the virus. Also, is there a risk Viread could actually lead to my body not developing the antibodies? I've read the following study, which suggests Viread can be highly effective in treating severe acute Hep B and also assist (or at least not inhibit) the development of antibodies.
I'm on day 6 with Harvoni and still a long way to go, was wondering on how some of you are doing on the same treatment .
View 6 RepliesI don't post a lot on here but wanted to share with everyone the miracles that exist now for treating Hep C. I saw my doctor on Friday and she let me know that my 12 week post treatment labs after 24 weeks of Harvoni came back with a negative viral load and that I am now cured (12 Week SVR). This was my 3rd treatment and thanks to God, it worked. There is hope for all of us. I have had Hep C for 30+ years and am a Genotype 1A, with a Fibrosis level of 3+. As a 3+, I still have an increased risk for HCC, so I will continue to get lab work done every 6 months, ultrasounds every 6 months and a CT scan every 18 months. I encourage everyone to keep on treatment - we are at a place where so many of us now have a chance for a cure!

I know that it is prescribed with or without food but I saw a comment on another forum that said that Harvoni works better in an acidic environment. However, I have not come across that information anywhere else. Just wondering as I want to make sure that I am doing all that I can so that treatment works this time after failing 3 times.
