Hemorrhoids :: Natural Methods To Cure Piles?
Mar 14, 2014
I was put on antibiotics and steroids for an infection, but now I'm dealing with what I assume is a rather large hemorrhoid. My anus is very swollen and tender, but there is no itching or bleeding. I got some OTC cream but it's not helping...same with a warm bath and using wipes instead of tissue. I would feel silly going to the doctor for this, especially because I don't have a trusted GP, and my "lady" doctor says it's not their problem. Can you even have a hemorrhoid without itching? The pain is unbelievable, and comparable to the level of pain associated with my c sections. So what should I do? And do you have anything that works for you? Natural methods preferred.

I am pretty sure that I have a parasite infection. The simple truth is that I feel bad about it, and don't want to turn up at my doctor's office with worms. I think that there must be some natural cures, or herbs around for worms? What do you think is the best way to cure worms naturally?

For over 10 years I have experienced the horrendous BV symptoms. At first it would happen occasionally and only when I had sexual intercourse. Each time it happened I would take metronidazole and it would fix the problem. Over the following number of years the BV became more of a regular occurrence to the point that it was there all day every day with or without sex. I eventually got fed up with going to get a check up as it was happening too often and would only come back again within days so I tried other methods. I tried absolutely everything as I was so desperate and was ruining my life. It completely changed my sex life, my personality and it made me very self conscious. I tried borax capsules inserted in the vagina, hydrogen peroxide douches, vinegar douches, iodine douches, yogurt inserted in vagina, you name it I tried it. One day after giving in to getting another check up, a doctor mentioned that there was a new gel that I could try called balance activ. I gave it a go and it did seem to help with the symptoms which was better than visiting the gyno at least once a month. Whenever I had the symptoms I would use the gel and it would be better by the next day. The only thing was that I couldn't be as spontaneous with sex as I used to be with my partner. But i had no choice.....so I thought. I really believed that BV could not be cured permanently, only short term fixes but I wanted to be free and didn't want to rely on drugs or gels or anything that was just covering up the root cause of these symptoms. Here is how I discovered my cure. This is going to sound a bit scary but I feel that I cannot stay quiet about it as I wish that someone would have warned me about this before it happened to me. Here goes....I became very unwell over a year ago which led to me having to stop working for over 6 months.... I am only 35!!! Look healthy from the outside, exercised 3-4 days per week etc etc. I discovered after doing some tests that I had a severe bacterial imbalance in my gut and a yeast overgrowth as well as parasites. I began doing a protocol to kill the yeast and parasites by taking botanicals and correct the imbalance by taking good quality probiotics. Another very important part of this protocol is that I changed my diet. I have stopped eating sugar and eat lots and lots of vegetables. I am basically on a low carb diet. As a side effect of doing this protocol for my illness, I have completely got rid of my BV. I believe after doing over 3000 hours of research that the gut imbalance and yeast overgrowth has contributed to my bv and it got so bad that it began to affect my digestive system. By correcting this you should be able to live a normal life without the worry of these horrendous symptoms stopping you living the life that you deserve to live. I wish I had known this before I became sick because my body was trying to tell me something for a very long time and just didn't pay attention until it got to this point.

Ok, so I recently turned 30 and just had my very first hemorrhoid trouble ever. First it was just internal bathroom bleeding, then I got this weird "skin tag" near by butthole, then the external pillow of doom appeared and all the horrible itching began. That was about 2 weeks ago. I don't have insurance so couldn't see a doctor, just researched online a lot and got some prep h suppositories. I used those butt bullets for a couple days but on day 2, I started to feel super nauseous after insertion. Don't know if it was the prep h or something else, I was sick that week so might have been unrelated but either way, had to use the bathroom right after insertion and lost it anyway.
Rather than trying to put another one in there, I decided to just clean myself with baby wipes as I'd gotten used to doing and instead grabbed some castor oil (that I'd been using to hopefully clear up some old acne scars on my face - it's the organic health food store oil, not the constipation drugstore oil). I added a squirt of sesame oil (that I'd bought to try that oil pulling thing before switching to coconut oil, recently started getting pretty holistic with the healthy stuff). Anyway, so I smeared that stuff all over my inner bum, figured it'd at least keep things from chafing and maybe cool down the discomfort. I reapplied once more before bed and the next day the hemorrhoid was about half as big as the day before. I was completely shocked! So I continued to apply after cleaning the area, did it maybe 3 times that next day and by that night it was even smaller. This is my 4th day using castor and sesame oil and the pillow is still there but just barely - it's not hanging out of my butt anymore, just sort of lining the hole-rim.. so now when I apply, I dip my finger inside just a tiny bit to make sure I'm still smothering the thing all over (I know, I'm graphic AND long winded, but if this helps anyone else it'll be worth it). I have zero discomfort, can't even tell it's there when I'm not applying the oil. There's a chance it could just be a coincidence and it would have gone down on it's own by now anyway, but I know I'll be reaching right for the oil again if it ever flares back up. If this really is what's curing it, I gotta spread the word and I hope you do too!

I'll start off by saying that my father died of rectal cancer at the age of 39, and was diagnosed at the age of 32.
A couple of months ago, I found a small lump in my anus, that hurt every time I went to the bathroom(and sometimes when I sat down, if I had been constipated). Said lump is sort of blue-ish. It feels soft when I press it. I haven't had any sort of bleeding, only when I was constipated, and it was too much for my anus.
I am scared, as I don't know if it is a hemorrhoid, or cancer. I'm only sixteen, but the young age at which my father was diagnosed(Note that he was diagnosed, not that he got it at 32), worries me. My girlfriend has asked me several times to go to the doctor, as she had a look, and she described it as "not normal looking", and said it looked swollen.
I hope you will be able to give me an answer from the information provided.

I've made progress with my stage 3-4 internal hemorrhoid, though I thought I never would. Three months ago I went to two doctors who had a look, and said I needed serious surgery--rubber-band ligation would not work, and neither would THD. Since my insurance only covers work done in California (I am living in Michigan temporarily), I ruled out the $11,000 procedure.
My life was pretty much wrecked by the grape-sized hem that had to be pushed back into my anus pretty much constantly, and which made walking and standing unbearable.
From a variety of sources, here is the routine I've put together which has helped:
1. Every morning I take a stool softener, 500 mg. of magnesium, and a mineral supplement with copper and zinc. Also 2 big fish oil capsules every morning, and 2 more at night.
2. I can't eat foods that irritate my hem, so I don't: chocolate, nuts, coffee especially. And I avoid wheat products most of the time.
3. I do all the usual dietary things to avoid constipation: oatmeal, prunes, flax seed, green vegetables, fruit, yogurt, etc. (but I'd already been doing these things for years with no help for the hemorrhoid).
4. I put turmeric in something every day: salad dressing usually, but also in soups.
5. Stopped wearing anything tight around my waist.
6. This one's weird, but essential: I began talking nicely to my anus. However you do it, you have to start respecting this organ and stop taking it for granted.
7. Trying (always trying) to reduce stress, and get more sleep. This is nearly impossible in my life right now, but any small improvement helps.
8. A hot bath in the morning, and another hot bath at night.
After about 2 1/2 months of doing all this, the hemorrhoid has shrunk about 75%, and I don't have to push it in anymore, except rarely. I did use the crushed aspirin technique a lot before, but don't need to now. I can't emphasize enough how severe my case was, and how the quality of my life had been reduced to zero. I'd tried all the creams and preparations (prescription and nonprescription) and all of them are a complete waste of money.

Have been having problems for around 5 months and sadly have not had much luck with any gp that I have seen not one has given me a digital exam and now I have badly thrombosed piles and have been forced to go to A&E for pain control including taking entonox while they are massaged by the doctor the pain to begin with was the worst I have ever felt infact I could not carry on without the gas.
I now have to wait who knows how long for a operation and hope A & E will look after me until then I am at my whits end and getting desperate.

I am a 19 year old male that got my first serious hemorrhoid around a month ago, there was slight bleeding when using the toilet however apart from that with ointment and care the pain subsided.
However three days ago the pain returned as bad as it was last time, yesterday I began bleeding heavily (leaving one pair of underwear ruined) and subsequently I went to my local hospital who said I should see a consultant this morning.
I did that, and he was useless, however confirming it was an external hemorrhoid that had ruptured. I have been booked for a camera in 8 weeks time and his only advice was to change everything about my lifestyle (time to give up all indulgences yay).
It has not stopped bleeding, and even walking from my local supermarket left me having to wash my anus as well as changing my underwear again.
My question is, how long will it take for the bleeding to stop, and is there anything I can do to help stop the bleeding as in my current state I don't want to leave my bed let alone face the prospect of work. I live in the UK so luckily healthcare is free, however I am open to home remedies as well.

I've had "bloody" diarrhea for 2 years now, it comes in kind of flare ups, it first starts with normal diarrhea and then i get a lot of blood!
I had a colonoscopy last year because doctors thought i could have crohn's or ulcerative colitis but everything looked normal, not even an hemorrhoid or fistula or anything, but the thing is i wasn't having any symptoms when i had the colonoscopy done, i didn't have diarrhea or bleeding or anything!
So is it possible to have hemorrhoids that are only visible when i get the bleeding? or whatever else..
Please answer ASAP!! im very worried, i have a doc appointment in nov 25th but i've had bloody diarrhea for 2 weeks now, so if he orders another colonoscopy i will be already without diarrhea, as i know how long these diarrhea attacks last.
