Have any of you ever had this and does it sound like herpes? No pain just general itchiness in the vaginal area (from hair stubble) and I noticed this lump on January 1st. Way under the skin. I thought it went away and I felt it tonight while showering. Flesh colored mainly. Maybe slightly red but it feels hard when I press the area. No other symptoms.

Today I just noticed a tiny hard bump on my outer labia. He is clean, and I have had unprotected sex once with an ex at a party about a month ago....he was clean when we were together and had told me earlier he hadn't slept with anyone since me. I really don't think it's herpes, but what else could it be. Nothing itches, nothing burns, nothing hurts, but there is a solid bump, I was trying to squeeze it to see if it's an ingrown hair. I don't have insurance right now otherwise I would go to the doctor, especially after the unprotected sex. Help please? What could this be?

Then i will have a day or so with absolutely no symptoms then Bam... a outbreak and 2. If u have a outbreak on your outer labia does that mean ur inner labia is contagious as well? Is viral shedding only active at the specific place where the outbreak is? Or is everything contagious?
View 3 RepliesA little over a month ago I noticed a lump in my right labia majora, somewhat near where my thigh meets the lips. It itches on the surface sometimes and if you pinch the skin you can feel a pea sized lump a little deep in. Not too deep but also not directly under the skin. I thought it was an ingrown hair but no white head has appeared for me to try and pop it. It has not grown, it only hurts if I mess with it often, and the little pimple like bump (with no head) on the surface sometimes feels bigger and itchier. It feels kinda hard but it is moveable. Idk if it is an ingrown hair anymore, anyone have info on what it may be? I already made an appointment but it is not until next week.

View 1 RepliesI've been HSV1+ (oral) for 20 years. Several months ago I had unprotected intercourse with a woman 3 times. Within 2 days, maybe sooner, I felt irritated on the shaft of my penis and the irritation and redness have been almost constant for 6 months. I've had 2 IgG tests at 3 weeks and 6 months, both were HSV1+ and HSV2 neg. All other STD tests were negative. 4 dermatologists didn't think much of it but one thinks it could be a herpetic neuralgia causing the issue. Never had an issue before the intercourse with this woman and issue happened immediately after and I'm not one for coincidences. I've tried all types of creams and have been on valtrex for months with no improvement of symptoms. I've also had urinary incontinence - leaking, which started one month after skin irritation began. Any thoughts??

For the last couple of years, I've had what seems to be a semi-hard painless raised "bump" or "lump" about the size of a nickel on the upper rear portion of my scalp below my hair.
As far as I can tell, the bump hasn't "grown" much in recent years, and it's completely painless. Additionally, if I "push" it, it seems to move back and forth under the skin and above the skull.
Since I've never had any pain from it, I sometimes forget it's there. That said, I'd love to hear what it might be. I haven't had health coverage for a little while, and I'm a tiny bit concerned if it's something very serious - hopefully not.
I have a sore small red spot on the outer labia. It's actually sore to touch. I showed my doctor and she said it is not a sexually transmitted lesion and that it might get bigger before it gets better. She didn't say what it was other than it was a sore.
It rubs and hurts. What could it be?
The outer edge is a bit swollen or it might even be a lump. At first I thought it was dry but now there are like 3 or 4. They are flat too.

Once in awhile I get small red bumps (I do not remember the correct name but they are not pimples) either on my thighs, close to on on my vagina. I was sick the last two days (just a fever) and went through the hot/cold process, typica fever stuff. Yesterday when I woke up I had one red bump and wasn't concerned simply because I had been sweating during the night. I took a shower and everything and it seemed fine. Today it began hurting when I sat or walked so I finally go home and checked it out. It now went from one to two huge bumps. The outside of the bump is red and raw, the net inner layer is white, and right in the middle of both are two huge black sections. One is on my outer labia and the other is on the next layer. I'm totally freaking out and will probably go to a doctor but does anyone have any recommendations of what it could be or what I should do? I'm unable to sleep not only from the pain but I am beyond stressed out.

But the lump concerns me and I feel pain on my caves that feel like its being pulled. The lump might be nothing it could be a bug bite that I'm thinking to hard into.

My only symptom now is terrible pain that I could only describe as sciatic based off what I see online.
- constantly changing pain in my butt, inner and outer thighs, and my big toe on the right foot.
- constant pinching feeling in groin
- lower and mid back pain (can be mild or so painful, for example needing to lie down after a 5 minute run)
How likely is herpes to cause these symptoms (which have lasted three weeks now), without causing lesions?
For a few days now i've had this very painful golf ball sized lump on the inside of my left vaginal outer lip. I've tried heating pads and warm baths but it seems to not surface or go away. It is very hard and seems to have a fever. It has become very difficult to walk or even get up. Even when I'm laying down, it feels so uncomfortable and hurts. I can't even sit down properly.
View 1 RepliesI have hard, dark skin on my lower back, I think it was due to my bed being broke some long time ago when there was a spring sticking out, it might have been scraping my back, but now it's like over a year that my bed is alright, nothing's really wrong with it, and the skin on the lower back is still dark, I tried TONS of different methods to get rid of it, but couldn't. I tried skin softener kind of cream or something, or wax, I can't remember, but it had something to do with sunflowers or sunflower seeds, it helped me at first, I used to put it on my lower back after every time I went for a shower, but then the dark skin started coming back, and pretty recently (about a month ago) I tried a special tea some people recommend, it helped as well, the dark skin was gone for maybe around a few weeks, and I used to pour the tea over my lower back after having a shower, and I didn't dry my lower back after shower so that my skin could absorb it, and well, the dark skin started coming back again, please someone help me! I've tried a million things! I also tried using sponges and what not to scrub the skin off, which didn't even do anything.

ok so heres my story/questions my dr decided not to tell me that ive had hsv1 genital for about 9 years maybe longer i dont know why she didnt tell me but thats what it is.. now ive been very very paranoid about everything like what if my daughter uses the toilet after me or touches something after ive used the bathroom and didnt wash my hands right away? can she catch it from that or say could she catch it from a sink or the taps?
View 1 RepliesDiagnosed by blood test with hsv1 on genitals. Bad outbreak in 2007. No outbreaks at all until last month since 2007. That's 8 yrs. Is that normal to go that long without an outbreak. My partner is negative and we have not used protected sex. We have split up a while back and I'm wondering since he never contracted it, is it ok to have sex with a new partner without protection. What's the chances of my new partner getting it since the last one didn't. Of course I know not to have sex during a break out. Is it that easy to transmit this. I have grandkids also and am very careful around them.
