GERD :: Breathing Discomfort And Pain In Chest?

when i am lying i feel like i ' m choking(not severe, just discomfort). I sometimes have little pain in chest . Also i have upper abdominal pain too but mild pain. But after i fall asleep i don't have any discomfort and i don't wake up in the middle of night. I may have GERD. not sure. The pain is very mild and happens sometimes.. i feel breathing discomfort at night.. The chest pain is mild and I feel discomfort in general. Also I have a Nasal congestion issue for long time. I can feel that I have quite some amount of mucus in my throat. Took omeprazole for 10 days. didn't help gave me abdominal pain instead

I am a 27 years old male and have been suffering from some left chest pain for the past two weeks. The pain worsens when taking a deep breath, exercising, lying down, and even talking. Along with the the chest pain I get a sharp stabbing pain in my back when doing all the same activities. The weirdest thing is I have a hard lump on my chest that is painful to touch. It doesn't get better with ice or heat and pain medications don't seem to help either.

i been having daily chest pain under my armpit left side and chest pain left side and the pain goes into my arm and i get arm tightness i have had tons of ekg tests done this year going to the hospital blood work x ray and so on and everything comes back normal i notice a lot of the time during the week acid comes up into my throat area so i'm thinking this can be acid reflux.

Overweight (working on it)
On anxiety med and blood pressure medication.
For 6-8 years I've had on and off chest pain, left arm pain, neck pain, upper back, even pain in both jaw sides.
I've seen 3 cardiologists in the last 4 years. Blood pressure is a little high and also cholesterol is a tad high (again working on it)
They all say my heart checks out (like 6 ekgs, treadmill stress test, ECHOs and all checks out clean) been about 2 years since last echo and almost 3 since that stress test.
I also have GERD. Take Prilosec.
The last 2-3 weeks tho... On and off I've been having left arm, left breast pain. Throbbing. Stabbing. Aching. On and off. My neck has been hurting on and off too. My upper back, same thing. My jaw both sides on and off.

Just to put it bluntly I am 35 years old and honestly I feel like I am 95 and just waiting to take my last breath. This is so crazy that a disease such as acid reflux can make you feel this way. My symptoms to name a few, I can't breathe, I have chest pain, I have the heart palps, I have the heart flutters, I have the chest tightness. The first thing I think of is THIS HAS GOT TO BE MY HEART! But no its the thing called gerd! I quit drinking, I quit smoking, I quit all of the stuff that I loved, and it is still here.

I've been diagnosed with GERD. Going for endoscopy this week. Feeling better since it started back in January. But now I am extremely weak. I am tired all the time. I do have a lot of responsibilities, but just cannot seem to get enough rest. Been taking vitamin B12 complex, everyday. That helps but wears off. Had a sore throat that came and went within 4 days after I attacked it vigorously as soon as I felt it. I changed my diet. Sometimes it feels like I am struggling to take in breaths.

How many people have difficulty breathing and severe bloating? I have a medium large hiatus with gerd barrett's and lpr, my other symptoms are dry mouth, post nasal drip phlegm that I can't cough up , dry cough burning tickling mouth and throat,ear pressure pain and tinnitus plugged sinuses hoarse voice difficulty swallowing does anybody else have all.
These problems? I'm coughIng but I can't cough up the phlegm , I am also hungry constantly but suffer extreme bloating , one bite and i'm full it feels like I'm full of gas , please anyone can relate to my symptoms? I also have a tightness just below my ribs and pain in collarbone and shoulder running to sides and back of neck at the base of skull and my phlegm is clear but real thick glue like substance which I rarely cough up it feels like I can't build enough pressure to cough it up.

Have discomfort in collar bone, left side of left breast, sometimes up my left side of neck. Also have random increase in heart rate. This has been going on for 3 years now. Have had 2 EKG's, 2 chest X-rays, an Echocardiogram, blood work, and wore a heart monitor for 48 hours. Everything came back fine. Was diagnosed with high blood pressure and very low amount of PVC's. On a beta blocker and a blood pressure medication, which have helped but still have these issues. I'm only 25 so going through this really has me worried. Any ideas on what this could be?

I have had the breathing issue for about a month now and I get these weird kind of jerking/spasms/shocks in my chest sometimes and it's even scarier than the breathing issue
Does anyone else have this?
I went to the hospital the other night because I couldn't handle it
They checked blood pressure and heart rate and my blood pressure was a bit high probably just from the stress......
I'm thinking about getting an X-ray
I'm a smoker too so that makes me even more worried

I am a 25 year old female. For about a year now I've been getting sharp stabbing chest pains in my right side which last from 1-14 days. The pain is worse when I take a breath inward and there is no tenderness. There is no monthly pattern with the pains, but I get them at least once every 2 months. I have noticed that every time I sleep on my right side, these pains appear. However I'm not sure whether this is a coincidence or not?
The first time this happened I went to A&E, they did an ECG and checked me for blood clots but everything was fine. Could this be pleurisy do you think? And does anyone know whether sleeping on my right side would bring the pains on. I am getting worried at this keeps happening, I thought it would sort itself out.

I am experiencing the sensation of food being stuck in the throat/chest, as if you swallowed a large pill and it is resting there. I have had acid reflux issues and take Zantac for it (previously Prilosec) and neither of them helped much. It's difficult to swallow and I also feel like I need to burp to relieve some pressure build-up in my throat/chest.
I woke up out of sleep last night and felt this sensation severely along with stabbing pain in my upper abdomen the radiated up to my chest. There's dull pain in my lower back as well along with nausea, trouble getting a full breath. It's extremely uncomfortable and concerning. It seems to hurt more when lying down, but I feel it when I'm upright too.
I'm waiting on a referral to see a Gastroenterologist to discuss my very extensive list of symptoms.
I understand that it anxiety could add to the pains I'm feeling, and I do have extreme anxiety when it comes to my health, but what I'm worried about is that I woke up out of my sleep with this pain to where it can't be directly caused by anxiety. I've been to the hospital for chest pains a couple of occasions and they ruled out everything but anxiety. So trust me, I know what anxiety can do.

So spent night in hospital for chest infection on Tuesday night. Been on 50mg steroids and 500 mg Co amoxiclav three times a day.
Pulled my back muscles coughing yesterday so taking diazepam as doctor prescribed for it as asthmatic so can't take ibuprofen.
However today when woke up my lower right lung area is swollen and have acute sharp stabbing pain when cough and constant pain which is dull. Anyone any idea what it is? I'm wondering if diaphragm or maybe need to see doctor for 3rd day this week.

I have something swelling below my right chest and I really don't know what it is. My friends told me that it is just a lymph node. Is that true?
I have already observed this for several year already and it seems that this is growing to about a corn-sized.

I'm 34 and my wife is 36, we have 2 Children who are very healthy, my wife fell ill after our first child (10 years ago) our 2nd child was through emergency c-section nearly 4 years ago now, from my own point of view I'd love just one more child however my Wife at 36 definitely does not and I respect her wishes completely.
On top of this my wife has come off the birth control pill as it's messing with her hormones/sex drive plus it may have future health risks if she keeps on taking it.
We would like to resume a more normal sex life and eliminate the risks, I don't like having to use condoms (like having a bath with your socks on) it's just not the same.
We felt the best option would be that I have a Vasectomy, that way we can have no more children, no birth control pills involved and hopefully we can get back to 'normal'
I've recently had my consultation appointment and I'm booked in for the snip in early June.
My expectations were pain & discomfort to start with but that will soon go after a couple of weeks, after reading some post's on here I'm now in a panic, worried I’ll get horrible infections, Erectile dysfunction and other complications it may cause years down the line.
Some people are saying it's the worst thing they've ever done.
I'm totally aware that these type of things don’t come without risk but it appears this is more risky than I first feared, the doctor explained its 1/1000 thing.

Recently diagnosed with Costo. Lately I've been having pain/discomfort radiating up to my collarbone,neck and jaw. All other common symptoms as well! Anyone else experienced this and any ideas on ways to ease it. Mine was brought on by an accident and has been made worse by stress/anxiety.

After my mistake (HIV scare) I have all these symptoms heart wall pain, chest wall pain, radiating pain to the whole body, and headache, and cough and sputum. X-ray 6 times in 6 months and doctors can not see what is wrong with me. Do I have a virus going inside my body? A viral infection?

i am 18 years old, but the symptoms start from when i was about 13 years old. the occurrence of the symptoms was seldom, but now since i was in senior high school, it started to occur more often. sometimes it will attack several times a day but sometimes it will attack after several days had passed.
the symptoms are pierced-like pain in lungs, heart, or liver. sometimes it happen in my stomach but i assumed that it was because i eat something. sometimes a shortness of breathing happen and i coughed a lot, i didn't cough blood though. can you help me?

I'm 22 and have suffered with knee pain for 5-6 years now i used to play rugby but stopped about 3 years ago mainly due to my knees. i went to my gp about 2 years ago and got refered to have an mri scan, my right knee has always been worse with the pain and giving way etc so i thought it best to get that one sorted first the results came back as a small tear in the cartilage so i was refered to have 3 months physio and if any problem persist after i would be referred to a specialist. Instead after my 3 months of physio i opted to pay for some private treatment (laser treatment, electrotherapy and ultrasound)where i was also told they thought it was tendons/ligament as well as the torn cartilage as i also get trouble with my hip, anyway i started to see.some improvement gradually but sadly couldn't afford to carry this treatment on so unfortunately im back to square one, i've got an appointment with my gp again and hoping to get referred to a specialist now, just wondered what other peoples experience with something like this has been, and what the outcome was? Ive got a bit of a phobia of doctors and hospitals so it takes alot for me to get sorted and i panic about it all.
