Penis :: Local Anesthetic (to Increase Sex Time) - Swelling, Pain, Black Skin
I put Local anesthetic on my Penis to increase Sex time.
After 12 hours I feel burning in my Urine
After 24 hours my Penis Swelling and was itching too much.
Now swelling gone but it's look black as it's burns, and exactly at the area I apply the Local Anesthetic.
It is paining to much now, I don't know what I have to put on my penis now to remove this black skin, and to help this burn to heals.
Men's Health :: Swelling Of Penis After Circumcision
I was circumcised on Friday (3 days ago) for medical reasons at the age of 23.
I have two issues that I'm looking for some advice with.
1. Below the glans, roughly at the height of the stitches, my penis is swollen. I know that some swelling is normal, but I don't know if mine is still in the normal range. It's swelling is about as thick as my pinky, maybe even ring finger. It's thicker than the actual glans area. So when I wear my pants, the swollen are is slightly pressed against my stomach and hurts quite a lot. (I was told to position my penis in an upright pose and wear skinny underpants).
Is this normal? How much swelling is acceptable and for how long? Should I be worried? I was just on the phone with the doc and I was told that swelling is normal, he didn't let me go into details.
2. I took off the bandage that was applied by the doc the day after the operation. I wasn't told to apply any bandages on my own, just to used some salve. The backside of my glans (penis upright) keeps sticking to my textil underpants. It's quite difficult to take them off and hurts a lot. I thought it was because of the salve I used, but even without it's the same. Should I still be using bandages or something?

On 26 Jan 2011 night i feel bad burning in my penis urinary tract and swelling on the edge of the glans, i went to doctor he ask me any sex with girl i told him yes only oral sex she performed then he took urine culture test and HIV, VD also all normal so he gave some medicine but not clear my problem. i went to urology he took urine culture test also but normal he gave some medicine also but still my urine yellow colour if not drink water frequently. still burning but not bad swelling also not bad now im taking (cranbe 300mg & Epitril 0.5) medine please what is my problem advice me. but my urology say nothing to worry.

I had circumcision and frenuloplasty a few days back. I had a lot of extra foreskin and it was rather tight. Post surgery, the sutures are still present, especially at the bottom of the glans where the frenulum meets the foreskin. Now, the place where the stitch is, is swollen with the folded foreskin. Not to mention, I have a ring of skin surrounding the glans as well. I want to add here that I have had some rather painful erections since the surgery. The stitches seem to be drying up slowly. I keep the wounds well taken care off. Please let me know if this is normal and if the folded up foreskin would look better and become normal once the stitches are gone. I am somewhat freaked out right now.

Me: 20 y/o female, 5ft5, 135lbs. (I have been losing some weight so I don't think I am pregnant.)
A week or two ago I was having this weird feeling, like tugging, in my belly button it was accompanied by some sharp pains on and off. A few days ago i noticed that the right side of my tummy, starting in the lower right quarter of my belly button and going about two - three inches down and about the same to the right, maybe a bit further, was swollen. It isn't super noticeable unless you look right in my belly button because I have some tummy fat, but the right is absolutely swollen. It is not a lump, but honestly just feels like fatty tissue or water retention. It isn't very tender, sometimes it feels like there is a bruise but there isn't, there is a spot that seems more tender. I have had this sharp tearing pain but it is very random and hasn't been bed enough for an ER visit. When I walk it hurts but it is very dull.
I have a doctors apt on monday but I am worried that this could be something bad.
I am not sure if this is related but it seems like it is (TMI sort of period stuff below just a heads up...)
I usually have normal/ heavy periods that last about 5-6 days. This time it started off very light, the next day i had about 12 hours of soaking a regular tampon in like an hour and a half (this is really unusual) and then it tapered off that night. The bleeding only lasted 2-3 days and the last bit was this strange copper color as opposed to bright red or brown. This is pretty strange for me.

About 2 years ago I noticed a knot pop up under my right jaw bone. I thought it was a swollen lymph node, and it only really hurt when I swallowed and would start swelling back up every couple months on and off. Recently the knot had been swollen up more, I can always feel it, but it will swell up bigger when I am eating at times. Along with that for the past couple months you can see a sort of swelling or lumps and redness in the back of my throat ( I don't have tonsils) but that is also on the right side. This hasn't gone away at all, even when my throat isn't hurting. I also have swollen glands under my tongue that sometimes swell more and hurt when I eat. My family doctor has put me on two antibiotics, and I did test and was treated for type C strep, but no swelling went away after that.

So for nearly two years now I have had a growing pain over the ridge of my left foot, I'm almost positive that it is my extensor hallucis longus. The pain is not present when resting, unless I stretch my big toe up towards me, and is much worse if I apply a measure of force against it. Once I start to walk the pain gradually worsens until I cannot put pressure on that particular side of my foot due to it not being able to hold my weight without severe discomfort. The pain emerges the moment I start walking and within an hour maximum it will be at its peak. Once I have stopped walking, the ridge of my foot will be extremely swollen, about as large as a golf ball, dark red and bruised.
I have tried to stay off it for a time, at one point using crutches for a week, applying a bandage, stretching, loosening my laces, wearing different styles of shoes (converse high-tops are my usual preference, but tried trainers, boots and dress shoes too), applying ice to the affected area and also taking over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medicine, all to no avail. As I said, it's been just a few months shy of two years and is gradually getting worse both in pain and swelling/bruising.
Also just a small overview of my physical stature as I assume it could be of some use

Could anyone recommend any other course of action before I finally give in and consult my GP, and also confirm my suspicion of tendonitis, or speculate on other conditions it may or may not be?
Pain And Swelling 3 Months After Bunionectomy
I had a bunionectomy done on my right foot in December of 2013. They had to bread the bone, shave off a good portion, and put a couple of pins in. The surgery went good and I had minimal pain for about 3 weeks after the surgery. Now I am about 3 and 1/2 months out from surgery and I am still having some pretty major swelling. I still can't wear most of my normal shoes and my socks leave indents on my foot. When I wake up in the morning it will look like it's not swollen, but by mid-morning it is swollen again. My doctor prescribed me arthrotec to get the swelling down, but I've been taking that for a month and it's not helping much so far. I am a nursing student and I'll be graduating in 6 weeks and hoping to get a job. I really need to be able to wear regular shoes and be on my feet for up to 13 hours a day.

I recently broke my left ring finger, 4 months ago, now slightly below my index finger is a small lump that looks like it is my tendons. This lumps starts a raised line in the center of my hand, proceeds up by my index finger as well as slightly splitting off towards my middle finger. 3 days ago an object fell on top of my foot and my foot became hugely swollen and I was in so much pain that I had to go to the hospital. They took an x-ray and told me it wasn't fractured, but the blood vessels in my foot had broken and I am bleeding internally in my foot (I'm also taking warfin for another medical issue). The dr. gave me painkiller and said nothing could be done except to wait for it to heal on its own. For the past 3 days I have been on complete bed rest and have elevated my foot and place ice on it every 2 hours. I am in extreme pain and my foot is still badly swollen and now I noticed 3 medium sized bumps on top of my foot. I am also taking blood thinner due to another medical issue, so my blood is thinner than normal, so it would take longer to heal. I can't even touch my foot as it is that painful and I haven't put any pressure on it. My family dr. told me that it could take 4-5 weeks to heal. Has anyone else gone through this??? Is there anything else I can do?

My friend is into his 4th month of having his tkr. It's like everyday there's something new. He had noticed an indentation on the outside of his knee. He is experiencing pain in his heel, swelling in his thigh, and pain in his back. He had to stop his PT because of the pain. He goes to his Surgeon but he just says it's going to take time. Wow, RA is the gift that keeps on giving! I'm a year in and actually was picking up well compared to last year. The meds appear to be working ok but after a rather stressful two days where I had to work longer hours than planned I'm now in a bit of a state. Last night I peed myself walking back to my hotel - came from nowhere - totally unexpected - suddenly I was peeing... highly embarrassing. And today I've had increasing belching, distended stomach and now quite a bit of pain. I've taken all the pain killers I can and really not sure what to do next. Just wondered if this rang any bells with anyone else - maybe it's nothing to do with it!!

I have broken my tib and fib -(think it's called a bimalleolar fracture?) I did it on a pair of high heels at Xmas party, stupid or what? I climbed up one step and it was gone over, my future for next however many months mapped out for me I a nano second! I have the usual metal plate and screws like many of you folk in here. I had my cast off on Monday and went to a physio today who advised me to not use the airboot and "try " to use just the crutches in the house and airboot outside. I a m confused as the consultant at the hospital said keep boot on for two weeks then ditch it AND the crutches. I am really confused, I want to push myself but don't want to do any damage. I am so down, fed up and FRUSTRATED? I have been given exercises from the physio man which he said to do every couple of hours and push through the pain as he said it needs to get moving ASAP. My ankle is so swollen, STIFF and painful. I just don't know what advice is the best? I am 49 WAS fit doing spinning, gym, swimming and lots of classes.

In the space of six weeks I have been put on two different types of statins. The first ones Atorvastatin, made my joints ache and I already suffer from osteoarthritis. I was then put on another type and my face swelled and I could not pass urine well. The doctor said to go back to the Atorvastatin but the chemical levels in my liver was high, the reason that I was taken off them in the first place. The doc said that it was ok! I have not taken any for a week now and I am just getting back to being able to walk! I am very confused and worried as my cholesterol is high. Having said this, I DO know why my levels are high, tis because I have not looked after myself for over a year due to having a lot of stress and eating rubbish. Last week I went to the hospital because my stools were black. They tested for blood but found none. Blood tests showed slightly elevated liver enzymes so they did an US and diagnosed me with fatty liver. That evening I began to notice swelling/faint pain in my upper right abdomen. I thought it was because of all the pressure from the US. It's been a week and it seems it's only gotten worse. Pain/swelling feeling extends from below the rib cage, don't my right side and i also get intermittent pain in my right lower back.
Once I got the diagnosis I changed my diet and stopped drinking. I'll be honest I used to eat horribly. Fast food, frozen meals, high fat, sodium and sugar. I became almost addicted to minute maid lemonade and drank 1-2 liters a day. All that HFCS is what I think mostly contributed to the fatty liver. I don't drink all that often (although when I did it was usually heavy). 2 years ago I used to drink a lot (though still only on the weekends) but up until my diagnosis it would be maybe few times a month tops.
I'm beginning to worry that they misdiagnosed fatty liver and it's something more sinister like cirrhosis. Other symptoms include fatigue, sometimes when I breathe I can take a full breath but it's like I'm not getting enough oxygen. It's hard to describe, almost as if the swelling in my abdomen is crowding my lungs. Lastly, my stools are now very light brown and loose (I honestly can't remember the last time I had a normal BM). I have a follow up with a GI Dr but that's not for 3 weeks. All of this has triggered some severe health anxiety that I once had as a child after an oral surgery.
Does anyone with fatty liver experience this feeling of swelling, abdominal bloating and pain in the upper right abdomen, right side and lower right back?
Thyroid Disorders :: Hands, Feet And Face Swelling, Joint Pain
I have had Hashimoto's for twelve years. Seems like my levels have never been "right". I've tried Synthroid, Levo and Armour and nothing seems to keep my levels steady. I went to Dr four months ago with severe swelling in hands feet and face and severe joint pain and fatigue. My TSH was 34. He switched me from levo to armour (90 mgs). The first week I felt much better but started swelling again and had terrible fatigue. Went back about two weeks later and he changed me to synthroid 150mgs. The swelling got a little better but still fatigued and joint pain is always there. I went to my gyno for yearly exam two weeks ago and they tested my TSH. it was .05 so gyno lowered synthroid to 125 mg and told me to come back in eight weeks. I'm feeling terrible again.. in bed today because of severe fatigue and joint pain and hands and feet are terribly swollen. Had anyone else had these symptoms with Hashimoto's? I'm wondering if it's the medication that's making me sick.
