View 6 RepliesI've been having pain in my calf for about a month now.in the last couple days the pain has started jumping around. To the sides of my calf,to behind my knee now it's in my groin as well. Also my right testicle hurts(right leg is where my pain is).I finally got to see my doctor today and he thinks I might have a Pinched sciatic nerve and is sending me for lower back xray.so does sciatica cause this dull ache that comes and goes in different parts of my leg?can it also be causing my testicle pain?

I have an indention in my left breast, right above my nipple. it's like a hole. I have family history on my mother's side of breast cancer. Besides cancer what else could it be?
View 2 RepliesI'm not entirely sure if this is in the right place, but for a good while now, there's been a bit of a 'dent' in my left arm. I can't take a picture because you can only really notice it when you feel it, but there's a definite dent in muscle or fat or something.
Oddly enough, it's the exact place where I used to rest my arm all the time against my desk, but I wouldn't have assumed it's possible for fat/muscle to erode away.

View 1 RepliesSo I was about to finger myself and when I felt my g spot it wasn't slightly hard like always. I know it might be because the g spot is in front of the bladder, (I just went to the bathroom before starting to masutbate) but I'm a hypochondriac and I worry about everything. It's a bit squishier and it just feels like it dented inwards a bit. It might go back to normal in a while because of the bladder thing.
View 1 RepliesI had a replacement hip operation 6 months ago,and I still get pain in the leg,I have a large dent in my leg where the hip has been replaced and a large lump below it as if my muscle has slipped.I have just started with a chiropractor for help in trying to walk correctly,I have been on a stick since the op I don't feel confident without it yet,has anyone else in the group had this problem or something similar, the dent and the lump below it?
View 5 RepliesI had a cortisone injection to a small cyst that was on my face for almost 2 months. It went down after a day. It has been a week and there is a small dent forming around where the shot was given. I was worried about this as I had heard this could happen, but my derm. was not and explained it was unlikely. Can I expect the dent to get worse? Feeling really bad and worried.

View 1 RepliesMy sister has a depressed skull fracture or a dent as we say from her birth in UAE. She was born from a cesarean section with an unfortunate use of forceps. That left her a dent or depressed skull fracture at the skull vertex. It is visible on physical examination. But when we went to doctor, we had complained about poor balance , coordination and failed to draw light on this fact. The doctor could not study this by CT and MRI. That failed to study this dent. This may be owing to lack of detailing ie by reconstruction of CT scanning.
Throughout her life ,she has been suffering from Developmental coordination disorder /minimal brain damage, owing to this. She has recently an official diagnosis from UK.
Well back in January i accidentally hit the sharp edge of table with my thigh. It did not bleed at all, it did not hurt much either ( pain went away a few minutes after the hit thankfully) . It was a bit swollen and more red, no bleeding and it started to form bruise afterwards. Well now it is May, so 4 months after - bruise is going away but i can see that area where i hit the edge is not flat anymore. It actually has some indentation, dent in it ( not big, not much deep, rather superficial but very visible when i stand and on certain light). It also looks like it is still darkened, 4 months after, like bruise is still not completely gone. I think darkening somes from bruise still forming and not from shade of dent. Not sure
View 1 RepliesI'm scared that all the sweets I crave and eat throughout the day will cause me to have GD.
but even worse, I'm wondering whether that could cause my baby to be born with type 1 diabetes? what are the effects of GD on the baby?
Seen my dr today. Had to get my bloods done as well. My gp didn't know anything about the dent in my forehead, she seen it and felt it. She asked did I fall, my reply was no. Steroids thin the skin, I know that. Also mentioned about a terrible ache in both calves muscles when I put trainers on and try to walk a couple of yards. She asked was the ache in both calves and I said yes, her reply was then it's not achilles. She is going to chase the rheumatologist up as I haven't seen one yet. It was endocrinology who made the referral to a Rheumatologist so gp is going to chase it up. I feel I am going it alone, other than this website, I would be totally lost. My gp is good she was off when I was going for pain relief and was still undiagnosed and then diagnosed by a locum dr. in the practice.
View 12 RepliesMy blood glucose level after 4.15 hours of eating was 123 mg/dl also, I do not have urine glucose. I had eaten at 4.45 pm and the sample was taken at around 8.15 pm. Do I have diabetes or prediabetes
View 3 RepliesI was diagnosed with PMR 6 months ago and am currently taking Prednisolone which has a big effect on my diabetes control. I am having a bit of trouble controlling my blood sugar levels and keeping them out of double figures. The levels are not consistent so counting carbs can be a problem. I test before I eat and try to tailor the insulin to the food I am eating but it seems very hit and miss and I sometimes end up with a hypo or a 20+ blood sugar result for no reason that is clear to me. I am eating a low carb diet but not cutting it out completely.
View 2 RepliesI am looking for any diabetes patients, or people who know diabetes patients, who are treating their condition with herbs. What I am after is some info for a blog post I am currently working on. I am a bit clueless on this subject - I don't know if treating diabetes with herbs is a realistic approach?
View 1 Replieshi I seem to have woken up this morning with what looks like an indent on the right side of my new knee. It was completely round last night but now has a dent in it. I am nearly 21 weeks post TKR. Anyone had anything similar and why this is?

View 1 RepliesI've just recently started running. At first it went fine, and I began to gradually increase my endurance and speed, really happy, etc. etc, until recently, I've been struck down by a mysterious malady.
While I run, my calves tighten up, and it becomes nearly impossible to finish the run. It's not plantar fasciitis or achilles tendonitis (no swelling, for one thing), but I can't consult a real doctor because I'm living in Japan and have no insurance and a very limited command of the language.
I did purchase new and good shoes, but no dice. I've consulted numerous of my track-involved friends, who offered various bits of contradictory advice. One person advised about 20 minutes of stretching before and after a run. Another said to not stretch before running, and stretch each calf for 3 sets of 30 seconds each. Those are the two extremes, and most suggestions fall somewhere in the middle. I make a point of doing a couple minutes of stretching (basic calf and thigh stretches), but nothing extensive, and I'm not sure what alterations I should make to my routine. I also took some time off, and just walked for my exercise, but when I started running again the problem returned.
Please help, any assistance would be appreciated. I'm just starting to get into running and just starting to get into shape, and I'm afraid that if this affliction keeps on going I will lose the motivation I've managed to fire up.
