I've had a scabby type sore on my index finger and light peel on lip since birth. My lip and finger were joined at birth. It has spread slowly and popped up on other fingers. There is also hard bumps covering a small amount of my hand. Sometimes one part of the scab gets pus under it. It goes white and very irritated when i surf in the ocean.

View 2 RepliesI am from India.I have been suffering with pimples for more than 8 years.I have consulted so many doctors but all my attempts were futile. I am getting pretty much depressed and losing all my confidence.
My condition is getting worse. Now I have small lumps with fluid(Not pus) on my right cheek(lower cheek) and I have been getting them on the same spot frequently and periodically and they are painful and I have pimples on my left cheek too and they are normal.
I've had the same condition on my left large toe for the past 3+ years now. It's extremely itchy, and bubbles up, and the skin then becomes soft and peels off, exposing the layers beneath. It then hardens again and repeats the process. There's a correlation with hotter weather and it becoming worse.
I've had it for a long time now but it's never spread anywhere else. However the list of creams I've been prescribed don't seem to do the job. I've included 3 very recent photographs. Anyone have any idea if this is an eczema or some type of fungus? The opinion seems to change doctor by doctor. Some say eczema, some say fungus!
Had my laparoscopic surgery two weeks ago this coming Monday. MD discharge orders says to remove the steri-strips 2 weeks post. My concern is my belly button. The scab is always opening up especially if I take a shower in the morning or during the day. If I take a shower at night it doesn't seem to open up as much.
I am debating about keeping my umbilical steri-strips in place till I see the doctor this coming Friday for a follow up. My incisions are glued.
Is it common for the belly button scab to do this? I can see fresh pink & maybe a bit of white but nothing oozing in my opinion. Should I keep the steri strips around the incision on? I plan on taking the other steri-strips off.
I had hormones tested and I am in menopause. I have not had a period in 4 years. Only been off the pill for a month after being on it for a long time. I am told I should still use condoms for birth control, which myself and hubby don't like at all. Chances of getting pregnant may not be likely but can happen. I really prefer to use nothing, but I don't want to end up with a pregnancy at this age. Anyone in their 40's and 50's have gone through this? What was your choice of birth control when the doctor takes you off the pill? Should I not worry about it and use zero protection? Do you think my doctor is being ridiculous?

However, about a month ago I started spotting, then it turned to bleeding which has required the use of feminine hygiene products every day.
I want to take a break from my birth control and give my body a chance to refresh.. I just want to know - will I remain protected from pregnancy if I take a week off (as I have not at all)?
I got Hep B Vaccinated during birth as my mum has Hep B. It went extremely fine until recently I was required to undergo for Hep B blood test by a GP and my test results showed that HBsAg is reactive, and anti-HB is non reactive (Count < 3.1). Therefore my GP referred me to a hepatologist and he was surprised too as I did not share any needles, etc etc plus I got vaccinated during birth. He said it might be a false positive therefore he sent me for many blood tests including DNA sequencing as well as ultrasound scan and I can only find out the results 2 weeks later. I am extremely worried. Anyone encountered this before?

That is until I had the Mirena (5yr) left it in for 7 yrs due to no insurance at that time. I am now 31 and had the mirena out for over a year with no luck getting pregnant. There are times I feel like I am pregnant I get sore breasts, cramping but then I start my period. This month however I am having the same symptoms and my period is late. I knew I was ovulating BC of the egg white like discharge(sorry if tmi)that was about 14 days ago I took a test this morning and result was negative. Maybe i don't understand how all this works completely lol idk but my periods are either at the end of the month or the first of the month. There's no way i could be having symptoms of pregnancy this early and its just my period warning sign. I'm starting to think that leaving the mirena in for 2 years over the time it was supposed to come out and not having periods in 7 years has done damage to my body.

I went to the doctor in the middle of November to renew my prescription. They gave me a pregnancy test which came out negative. I had sex once in October and haven't since then.
In December my period came on a Wednesday and I forgot to get a new ring to put in to skip my period. I put in the ring the same day my period started, Wednesday, but I'm supposed to put in a new one Sundays. Anywho had a regular period but last week I had slight cramping for a day and some spotting. This week the same thing. The spotting is only lasting one day. What the heck is going on? Just old blood?
I have been on Nuvaring for two years now. I follow the directions and take it out when I need to. I removed it in May of 2014 and I have missed two periods since then. I have taken 4 pregnancy tests and all of them have been negative. I am not experiencing any pregnancy symptoms, nor have I had unprotected sex since the removal. Any advice as to what is going on? I've been trying to get an appointment set up with my doctor but they won't call back

I also have a general itch feeling on my body with quite a lot of spots (which i normally don't get). First I thought it might be bed bugs but my GP (and some other doctors I asked) said it doesn't look like it. I got an appointment with a NHS dermatologist in about a month but I am really considering going to a private one as I don't wanna wait for that long. What do you guys think?
