Need answers for reason for the swelling sensation. Feels like vagina and rectum being pushed out as before. Went to doctor 1 week post op because of this, bladder still in place. Doctor had no explanation. Scheduled to go for check up in 3 weeks. This will be the 6th week since surgery. Can't rest or sleep well because of the constant swelling.

I hate feeling this pressure could it be some sort of prolapse? I'm only 21 and never have had any kids or anything. Or could it just be constipation. I've been stressed a lot lately.
View 2 RepliesI have a dilemma, my uterus is retroflexed and enlarged due to 3 walnut size fibroids and 6 smaller ones. Since my uterus is retroflexed it is pushing on my spine and rectum. So I get lower back and leg pain. I also get done pressure on rectum sometimes as well. Anyway I gave been going through this for about 2 years hoping everything will shrink due to menopause. Have any of you had partial hysterectomies where you just removed uterus? Anyway just want some advice. Have been debating this for awhile.
View 2 RepliesI am worried that after my repair I will be left with a bigger vagina. When I push my front wall to where it should be I have a gap below my fingers. This really concerns me as I don't want to be bigger than I am now! I know Rectocele repairs can make the vagina narrower but the front wall of the vagina is attached to the pubic bone so is very different. Can anyone tell me how it was after your Cystocele repair?

View 1 RepliesI had a cystocele 3 1/2 weeks ago. It seemed I was healing well with some mild tenderness in the lower abdomen. Which I felt was normal. But a little over a week ago I suddenly began to experience excruciating (level 8-10) pain in my right hip area. The surgeon said it is the tendon/ligament (?) where the sling was attached to that is hurting so bad. Has anyone else experienced this after cystocele surgery? And if so, how long did it last?
View 1 RepliesHad abscessed tooth on top under gold crown. At the same time bottom gums swelled and I was told that one of my back molars needed extracted. Had 3 teeth pulled. My gums are still swollen on bottom which all doctors say they look pink and healthy. I feel pressure in my jaw. I feel like I'm being strangled in my throat. Now I feel like I'm in a tunnel when I speak. All these symptoms came one after the other and I don't know what to do. I have had a CT scan, a scan of my jaw, and an MRI of my jaw. The doctors say they don't see an infection. I don't understand what is going on. What ever this is, it seems to be spreading. The last oral surgeon I saw said the symptoms may be due to different things but I don't think so. Has anyone had anything similar?
View 1 RepliesA $60 eye exam revealed swelling in the optic nerves that got me a referral an eye specialist, the eye specialist then told me I most likely have high pressure cerebral fluid that is causing the swelling and need a CAT scan to look for brain tumors, no brain tumors were found ....... but the cerebral fluid must be drained to prevent continuous swelling of the optic nerves that will cause separation & blindness.

The cerebral fluid draining required a large needle to puncture through the lumbar area into my lower spinal cords, as the lumbar area does not have 1 solid nerve as the upper portion, it is basically like spaghetti so there is NO risk of paralysis when done by professionals with a live X-ray machine to line up the needle between vertebra for safe insertion.
I don't know what measurement scale they used, but the pressure reading was above 40+. They told me normal pressure should be between 8 and 12.
They then drained the pressure to about 18
As I was walking out of the hospital, I had never in my life had such extreme mental clarity and excellent vision.
Shortly afterwards, I noticed that my normal clumsiness was gone that I had dealt with all my life.

As I know all my life I was mentally slower than average until that procedure. It has been 1 1/2 years since then, and starting 2 months ago I noticed diminished capacity slowly creeping up as before, as I probably need the procedure done again and don't have the money to do it.I realized that if this high cerebral pressure would have been detected as a child, I could have gotten a better education if it had been corrected.
About 2 weeks ago I hooked up with my ex... A couple days later I started having an itching and burning on the outside of my vagina on the outer lips. It was very red and my labia got very swollen... The swelling went down but i've still been dealing with the itching and burning. The skin on my vagina is very wet and it get hard and peels off every couple days. I went into my docs and they said it was vaginitis and a yeast infection on the outside. They gave me the 1 time yeast infection pill (don't remember the name) and i've been drowning my body in probiotics. Nothing is making it to away. It's still itchy and peeling and now it's moved up to my anus. Does anyone know what this is? Is it just a horrible yeast infection?

View 1 RepliesI'm 28 weeks pregnant and just got hemorrhoids earlier this week as of about three days ago though i noticed some very painful blisters that have lined up along my vagina done research it doesn't look like any of the herpes outbreaks i've come across. all they do is hurt no itch no burning. i was told two days ago i had a severe bladder infection due to microbial parasite. im currently taking antibiotics and using witch hazel wipes. doc said these bumps are nothing to worry about. i disagree with how painful they are. thoughts please?

And also iv been having pressure in my bottom and my lower back is really sore like a dull pain... Could this be labour starting soon? Did this happen to anyone else?

View 2 RepliesAbout 2 years ago I noticed a knot pop up under my right jaw bone. I thought it was a swollen lymph node, and it only really hurt when I swallowed and would start swelling back up every couple months on and off. Recently the knot had been swollen up more, I can always feel it, but it will swell up bigger when I am eating at times. Along with that for the past couple months you can see a sort of swelling or lumps and redness in the back of my throat ( I don't have tonsils) but that is also on the right side. This hasn't gone away at all, even when my throat isn't hurting. I also have swollen glands under my tongue that sometimes swell more and hurt when I eat. My family doctor has put me on two antibiotics, and I did test and was treated for type C strep, but no swelling went away after that.
