I've recently come off the microgynon i'm a bit worried as my period hasn't returned (it's only been a month) but because of my age and my parents views obviously i want to know sooner rather than later if this is normal?

I was put on microgynon 30 ED over a month ago due to heavy and long lasting periods (they would last nearly the entire year). The microgynon 30 instantly stopped the bleeding which I was so happy about, until the pill free week where I bled stupidly heavy, was going through over 10 'night/super heavy' pads a day, plus bleeding through pj bottoms and sheets . This was accompanied by intense lower abdomen and stomach pain and I soon ended up in hospital as I was so faint and my heart rate got up to 160. Thankfully, physically I was okay 'down there' and the obgyn said it could be hormonal, to take mefenamic acid along with tranexamic acid and she probably thought it was hormonal and to stop the microgynon.
I did and ever since the pain has been horrid. I don't know if this is purely coincidental? But, recently I'm still having the intense back pain, lower abdomen cramps, stomach ache, migraines, hot flashes (I'm only 24!), tight chest pains and vaginal pain (aching and stabbing sensations). Also, my anxiety levels have rocketed to the point of I'm pretty much scared to leave my house. I'm really trying to make it out every day though, so I suppose some part of my rationale is there hidden beneath this mess.
I just don't know what is causing it and I'm going to bed at night thinking I'm going to die haha. That or I am going totally mad and it is all in my little head. I truly hope it is just my hormones are totally out of sync.
I'm hoping to get some info about Microgynon as I didn't have a period during my seven day break. I ALWAYS have a period, is this normal? I have the Mirena coil too so it's very unlikely I'm pregnant but is it still possible to conceive with double contraception (the Microgynon is to help with mood swings and the Merina is my main contraception)
Also I had a super super faint line on a pregnancy test. Some can see it, some can't. When I made the photo darker in black and white it's really obvious. Is that line just the chemicals underneath?
I had an old packet of the pill left with about 8 days pills remaining. I took one, not on the first day of my period, but about 2 weeks from the usual period days. My bf and I had intercourse and he ejaculated inside me. I continued with the remainder of the pack as required but forgot to take one pill about 4 days later, I took that pill on the Thursday mornings and took the usual Thursday pill on Thursday night, then Friday pill on Friday morning..I continued with the pack but forgot to take the Monday pill and took Tuesday on Tuesday and Wednesday on Wednesday... I should have had my period today and it feels like there should be a period but I've not had my period! Do you think I could be pregnant or have I just messed up my system?! Really don't want a baby just yet!! Boobs aren't sore like usually are when I'm premenstrual but tummy feels warm sometimes throughout today... I've now got 3 new packets of the pill which I should take on Thursday following a 7 day break...

View 1 RepliesThis was my first month taking the pill Yaz. I was on Yasmin before where you take your seven day break and within that break i would have normally got my period. I have been taking my pill everyday between 11 and 12 and I have NOT miss any. I have also been using condoms as well so I am double protected.
Today is my 3rd day of the sugar pills (pill with no hormone) and i still haven't gotten my period. I did however get a slight and I mean the SLIGHTEST bit of brown discharge.
Is there a reason I didn't get a full period? Would the slight bit of brown count as a period? Could it be my body adjusting to the new pill.
I've gotten my period twice this month for the past 3 months .. The only thing that has changed during these 3 months is unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I am not pregnant I've taken pregnancy test in which they all were negative. I decided to start my birth control but I did it wrong therefor I would have to wait till my next period.. View 1 RepliesI have been a user of the nuvaring for 2 years and 2 months at this point. I have a 2 year old child already, but the Nuvaring is the only method of birth control I've ever used. Never have I had a problem with it until now. I got my last cycle January 24th, 2016. (It usually hits 3 days once taken out.) I have followed all the instructions to a 'T' and am always on time taking the ring out and putting it back in. Never once have I missed or skipped my period while on the nuvaring. Am I pregnant?

View 1 RepliesI had the Nexplanon 3 year birth control implant put in February of 2013 when i was 16 years old. Up until early-mid June, I had not had any periods. Now, I have had my period on and off for almost an entire month. It is mostly spotting but enough to require the use of tampons and refrain from sexual activity. I have been pretty emotional lately and was up last night with bad cramps. Nothing in my daily schedule or eating habits has changed therefore I do not understand what could be causing this. ALSO, I have been experiencing extreme fatigue. Does anyone have ideas as to why this is occurring? I would hate to have the implant removed because this is the first time it has given me problems so far and I'm not even sure it is the cause.
*I have had the same boyfriend for 10 months so i do not think STD's would be of any relevance*
I weaned myself off my 10mg escitalopram over a period of a month, haven't taken anything now for 5 days. The brain fog, exhaustion, brain zaps (constantly) and instability on my feet is really starting to get to me and affect my ability to function during the day. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to alleviate these problems?

I took a PG test yesterday and it was negative. Today I am experiencing an unusual amount of white, watery discharge. Also, last time my husband and I had sex (Sunday) he said, my discharge was thicker and creamier than normal. From what I've read, I think I might have an infection BUT I can't help to HOPE I might be PG.
View 1 RepliesJust a couple weeks ago I had a bump forming right next to my nostril and directly on my cheek. I've had it for over two weeks and just yesterday I had it checked by my doctor and she prescribed me a topical solution ( smells a lot like alcohol) called Clindamycin Phosphate. I've done everything she had mentioned to me as far as putting a warm compress on my face which I have done the past couple nights and later applying the solution. Well, just a while ago as I was searching for some advice, I twitched my nose then all of a sudden I felt a tingle on my face and was in a way relieved to see that the boil had popped! I washed my hands, took a q-tip and just dabbed all the puss and blood out. Not sure if I'm doing anything incorrectly since I can't seem to get all the puss out of it since the bump is still there. I waited it out a bit before washing my face for the rest of the blood to come out since it was still dripping a bit. I gently washed my face with aveeno and waited for it to dry as I later dabbed the solution on the boil which stung like bloody murder >;) ! I'm very worried that this bump will remain on my face as this is the very first time in my life to experience such a traumatizing experience. If there is any help, please I beg you, how do you treat a boil/pimple after it hasn't completely drained?? Should I just wait it out and continue to use my prescription? My doctor told me I didn't need a follow up for it, but I'm so worried I can't help it! Should I continue to apply a warm compress twice a day? What should I do?

I'm two days late for my period, feb 21 was my date for my period . I've been getting weird cramping it felt like period cramps but no period. I also started to workout 5 days a week started this past Monday (advanced workouts) . I just want to know why my period isn't here. My last period was off too. I just need advice and some help .

View 5 RepliesAfter years of pain, heavy periods, aches and really bad PMT I was finally diagnosed with endo about five years ago after scans and internal examinations. I was operated on and was ok for a couple of years. Then the symptoms returned and only after breaking down in the GPs room did they do the same again.
Just less than two years ago I started a new job but have had time off sick as my symptoms haven't improved. I'm tired, run down, back ache, stomach ache, pick up every could/bug going etc etc. Now I don't know what to do. My boss has called me in for a meeting about my sickness next week.
The Dr hasn't prescribed me anything but I feel all these symptoms are linked to endo and to the cyst I also had removed during my first op. I struggle almost daily. I'm sick of going to the doctor and begging, telling them I feel like rubbish.
Had TURP many years ago but old problems have returned.
Urologist has said I need TURP doing again and has placed me on waiting list. I have great difficulty peeing, doesn't completely void and dribbles when I put it away. Surgeon has offered to put a Foley Catheter in while I am awaiting surgery but as far as I can remember the Foley was only used following surgery. Should I agree to having this catheter inserted to relieve symptoms while I'm waiting?
I have this bacteria called IMPETIGO. To be honest it's the worst thing I had in my life. I'm 18 years old and having this kind of bacteria is simply awful. It all started when I returned from the sea side, I was there on holiday with my best friend. During the trip I had nothing, everything was fine, but the last day a juicy wound appeared on my knee. It was itching a bit. The next day when I arrived home another one appeared on my FACE! I was traumatized! I stood like this for 2-3 days, after I told my mom she took me to a specialist. The doctor gave me antibiotics and Fucidin cream. I started the treatment about 3 days ago, the wounds are looking better now. The major problem is that in 6 days from now I'm leaving to London to visit some relatives and they have a daughter, she's 10. I'm so scared that I could give this bacteria to her, I feel so embarrassed. Please help me, could someone tell me if there is any possibility that I can avoid this ?
