View 4 RepliesI just started taking 25 mg Zoloft. It it my 9 th day . I take it at night before I go to bed. I wake up feeling shaky inside and nauseous and it lasts most of the day. I start to feel better by night time. Has anyone felt like this? I was gonna stop taking it but I have to admit that I don't feel on edge like I used to even though I'm nervousness about this feeling I have.
View 2 RepliesI gave up my job because I was so stressed and such an emotional wreck. I 've gone back to uni to do another course, I have tasks to complete and I just don't feel motivated to do anything at all. I m doing work experience and I don't care anymore. I m On list to see therapist at the end of month. I'm usually active person and maybe it's the anxiety that kept me going but all I do now Is not to do anything at all I lay about and sleep I postpone everything I need to do is this normal? I have no energy or drive, has anyone else experienced this?
View 2 RepliesI have had a really tough year, and was prescribed citalopram 12 weeks ago, started on 10mg for 2 weeks then 20mg ever since. I haven't been feeling any better, I have been going through a break up so its hard to know what's heartbreak and what's depression but the only thing that's seemed to be improving is anxiety which was taking over my life.
I still wake up most days not wanting to move, feeling hopeless and like I don't want to be here (I wouldn't physically hurt myself) and non stop crying and fear of the future and low self esteem. I used to be so confident and outgoing and happy, my world has crashed in the last year and recently I spoke to my doctor who has raised the dose to 40mg which I have now been taking for 3 days. I feel absolutely worse and again not sure if it's circumstantial. I feel embarrassed In Front of my friends and family as one minute I'll be crying and struggling to breath having a panic attack and the next I'll be laughing and smiling. Has anyone else suffered in the same way? I am hoping that this dosage is what I need but I'm just having teething problems. Right now though I feel very scared and worried it's not going to do the trick if I feel like this.
I was prescribed a 3 day course of Trimethoprim, for cystitis, which I have suffered from many times before in the past. However, this time the medication made me extremely nauseous. Within about 10 minutes of taking the tablet I began retching violently and about an hour later developed a very itchy red rash on the inside of my lower arms. The rash gradually disappeared over about an hour but every time I took another tablet (two per day) I started to retch violently. I have taken the last tablet this evening but have now woken at 3.30am feeling sick again. I wish I had read your website sooner as I now realise I am far from alone in my reaction to this drug. I find it strange that I have taken it many times in the past without any obvious side effects.

Me and my husband have unprotected sex frequently (he does pull out). My period is usually around the end of the month but changes by a few days a lot. On the 15th I had a light brown/pink spotting. It was very light. The spotting only lasted a day but now it's the 20th and I am still cramping, bloated, back pain and my breast tingle. Should I worry or is it too early? I'm also a little nauseous but haven't been puking.
View 1 RepliesMy sense of smell is so sensitive that I've had to ask my husband to change his deodorant, we've changed our laundry detergent to one without a fragrance, and if anything is seasoned with Italian herbs or herbs in general I become nauseous. Is anyone else sensitive to smells?
View 6 RepliesWhy do I feel nauseous, dizziness, headache after an orgasm?Whith sexual encounter or masturbation. Is happening every time that I have an orgasm and is very frustrating. I feel sick after.
View 1 RepliesAbout a month or two ago I was having nausea in the AM around 4/4:30. Every morning. I'm not pregnant. I would dry heave and puke. It was first just in the mornings but it started to go throughout the day. I would get clammy hands, get hot then cold, dizzy, and wasn't able to eat or drink anything. I was hospitalized for one day due to dehydration and two days later was admitted for three days. They did urine tests, blood, stool samples, X-rays, ultrasound, and found nothing. They say it's cannabis hyperemesis, but since I got out of the hospital I've been smoking and feeling fine. I am however going through a rough patch with my friends due to me thinking they don't care. This morning I woke up at 5:40 nauseas. Took a shower, took a zofran, had half a glass of milk and tried distracting myself. I threw up some sour cream or milk. I had a potato last night with A LOT of sour cream that I got two weeks ago. Is it that that made me sick this morning or are my symptoms coming back? Please help this has been an ongoing issue and is an annoyance especially trying to get things done. I'm 17 by the way and have been smoking marijuana since I was about 14
View 2 RepliesI'm only 17 years old. I have felt the way i feel now for months. I am not pregnant before anyone suggests that!
I suffered from a disease/illness where my glands swelled up til they were huge and you could clearly see them. I had a fever all day, i would go cold and the hot, i had no energy at all and was generally sick! The doctor gave me some antibiotics and it cleared up.
Ever since then i have not been myself. I feel sick at some point during the day, i constantly have a weird feeling in my head, its not pain as such, but like a numbing feeling and irritation. I feel like im going to faint all the time, im weak and very tired, i also get chest pains from time to time & my breathing is rubbish, its hard to breath at times, i generally feel like im dying
I have had countless blood tests and all of them showed nothing!
This totally upset me because im frustrated, i just want it to be over!!
The doctor told me just to have lots of water and exercise.
My family were convinced that i suffer from anxiety and panic attacks!
As i had a panic attack due to the fact i felt so ill i thought i was dying!
It wasn't just happening to me for no reason the attack.
so they took me to the doctor where he told me my symptoms were that of anxiety and panic attacks so he gave me some tablets to take.
But i still feel the same!!
I do not believe that i have anxiety
I am sick if people believing that is what it is!!
.......
I am slightly worried, but last thursday i was told i had asthma and i was given 2 inhalers, but since then my breathing has gotten worse, i suffer from chest pain and a "that's not right" feeling in my chest, and i am soooo fatigued and have no energy and now have lost my appetite :-(
and also feel sometimes light headed, I have been given a blood test but results aren't out yet and i hate waiting also i am really worried which make me worse and i have some back pain as well.
I'm a type 2, and recently, I have been experiencing some issues when I go into some place like Walmart, Target, Sam's Club... I'm okay for about the first ten minutes, but then I start getting sweaty, one of my ears will stop up, and I start losing my energy. By the time I am out of the store, I am starting to be nauseous, and exhausted.
My daughter in law says it could be due to lack of air movement in the stores, but it seems like if that was the case, going out of the store would resolve the issue.
I also have fibro, but as I have only recently been diagnosed with it, I am still not acquainted with all its accompanying issues.
Does anyone know if my problem has to do with either condition?
Can you have meniere's but be dizzy/lightheaded,floating/nausea rather than experiencing the whole room spinning? My ENT believes I have menieres.
Also: I went on a 100 mile bicycle ride yesterday all through the night, so i am very fatigued. Today I had one glass of wine and it has made me incredibly dizzy, nauseous, and when i move me head I feel like I'm going to fall over. Does this sound like Meniere's?
I've been extremely tired lately sleeping 8 - 10 hours per night, fatigued, feel nauseous and sick but not actually sick, some stomach pains. Pregnancy test negative so not that Any ideas?
View 3 RepliesLong story short I am miserable and ended up in labor and delivery last night at 38 and 4 due to being light headed dizzy nauseous and seeing spots. They checked me and the nurse said my cervix was "extremely posterior" but didn't explain anything about what this could mean. Apparently I am only 1cm dilated and 70% effaced as well. Anyone else been told this or know what it means? Am I not going to be able to go into labor on my own?
View 9 RepliesMy symptoms are: i've been very moody, emotional, tired, nauseous, loss of appetite, bloated, my stomach feels sensitive.
I'm a diabetic and my sugar has been fine.
I'm on Yasmin but accidental skipped 4 tablets last week.
Could i be pregnant or just tired?
I am what my doctor describes as a perfectly healthy 32 year female. I have a hiatal hernia but that may be beside the point. I had been on Paxil 20 up until September. At the end of October, I began feeling nauseous after eating and vomiting after eating supper. I do not feel better after vomiting and find it almost impossible the eat for 24 hours following. I feel incredibly exhausted after 3pm, and when I feel ill it's at or around 5pm. My blood tests are perfect, not pregnant, and up to this point generally healthy. I am looking for ideas, other experiences, and general info to find out and 'fix' what is all of a sudden wrong with me!
View 1 RepliesSo I have successfully completed my first week on 10mg of Citalopram....bloody tired ha! I should be on Cerazette but since not being in the mood to have sex for well more than 6 months, I haven't really been taking the "pill", I know most people are going to say ask my Doctor but I don't have an appointment till the 21st and was just wondering if the 2 can be taken together?
View 7 RepliesI've been on 10mg of Citalopram for 8 weeks, a few days ago I knelt on a small toy which didn't hurt just made me jump. I now have a completely bruised knee (it's totally purple!) Has anyone else experience excessive bruising or should I worry that it's something else??!?
