I have had a fever for a day or so and I've been throwing up a lot I have red dots on my legs I thought they were pimples but there is a lot of them only on my legs. I don't know if there chickenpox or if they are just red spots from shaving.

I work in the airline industry, so many hotels, airports and closed areas.
My first symptom was one or two spots that I thought were bug bites.
Then I was feeling feverish and sore for a couple days while having night sweats for 3 nights. Still only a few spots on my head, I thought were zits or bug bites. on day 5 or 6 of all the symptoms, I woke with at least a dozen spots on my head and neck, this was at 4:30a, by 12p I was covered with at least three or four hundred spots. Doctor said he would do a culture to verify CP or Shingles (there IS a difference) but all I could do was ride it out, don't itch, take a antibiotic to keep the chance of a skin infection down.
I currently have them all over head, face, neck, back chest, groin, with a few more randoms on my upper legs and shoulders. with the numbers increasing to over five hundred at least.
I am hoping for few scars and a quick recovery!
I'm 18 and I'm on my 7th day, all the spots on my face are scabbed. I'd like to know if I accidentally scrape some off during shower, would it become a scar? And what cream should I use if ever they become scars. I'm just so anxious of how they will turn out after I'm healed.

View 2 RepliesWell Im a male and Im 16 and not sexually active. I have these a bunch of white spots at the base of my shaft and like two mid shaft. and they are all over my scrotum. When they are popped, a white pus type stuff comes out (like popping a whitehead on your face or nose or whatever) I don't pop them, but i did when i first noticed it when I was about 13 years old. I've looked around and the closest thing i can come to is that it's fordyce spots? I really don't want to go to a doctor as this is pretty embarrassing even though its their jobs and all but yeah. Btw when i was taking accutane for my acne they sorta went away? Idk i cant remember clearly but i think i saw less of them but i don't remember. I'm off accutane now but yeah.

I know they probably aren't even looking at me but if there's a chance they could be, I find it hard to put one foot in front of the other and walk normally.

How long after you ladies got stitches from birth did you wait to start shaving again? I know I have to wait until they fall out but I'm wondering if it's still to early to shave when they fall out?? Did it hurt your first time shaving?
View 4 RepliesAfter initially being diagnosed with stage 4 terminal bladder cancer and told I only had weeks to live, plus there was nothing they could do for me, I became a pro-active patient (doctors advise, I decide). All that was nearly 7 years ago.
I have been on Tamsulosin on and off (definitely on in the last year) to help peeing.
In the last year, my blood pressure has risen to dangerous levels. Hypertension pills have helped somewhat, and by experimenting I've got to a good combination with little swelling and other side-effects. But then my remaining kidney started failing.
Investigating this a couple of weeks ago, it was found that my retention (no-one mentioned PVR) had worsened from an earlier 'normal' of 500-600mL to 1.2L and this was thought to have caused the kidney problems.
I'm now catheterised for 4 weeks (half-way through now), and both my blood pressure and kidney function tests are showing an improvement.
The last thing the urologist said was that they'd probably be considering prostate shaving. Hence my coming to this forum and reading up on the alternatives (Urolift sounds an attractive option if I'm suitable). Whilst I understand that TURP is both the gold-standard and generally OK, the stories here have underlined the serious risk of bad side-effects. So I'll see if I'm eligible for some of the alternatives (not just Urolift, but PAE and WHY).
I'll update when I've seen the urologist next.
What is referred to as a simple bunionectomy ie just shaving off the bump?
Having had this done I am now hearing that this procedure is rarely done?
I have the region shaved every month.It Is very irritating.Is there anything better to do?
View 6 RepliesAbout 5 days ago I noticed a bump on the inner lip of my vagina. It is about the size of a pencil eraser. It did not hurt or look like it had fluid in it. Last night I got tired of it and tried to pop it (I know I shouldn't have) after a while of trying some white liquid puss came out followed by clear liquid and blood just as a pimple does. I stopped after that. Today the bump is still there and is swollen and now it is sore. Now it looks sort of raw (could have been my fingernail) and slightly yellow in color and there is red like stained blood or blood under the skin where it came out. I'm wondering if this is herpes. Like I said it did not hurt before I did all this and it was there for 5 days and didn't change until I messed with it. It did not look like a clear fluid filled blister but I know cases are different. I do shave also so I know that could have something to do with it. I've just never gotten an ingrown hair in this spot. It's on the inner lip of my vagina kinda on sensitive skin. So I thought that might be why if it was an ingrown hair or something it was sensitive while popping and hard to pop. I'm also having some vaginal discharge, burning during and after urination, and a smell. I think it's possible I have a yeast infection. But I don't know what the bump is and it's really worrying me. I've only ever been with one guy, we've used a Condom every single time. I try very hard to protect myself so I'm really hoping this isn't herpes. I haven't had any symptoms like fever nausea or abdominal pain either. I just don't know what this bump would be and I'm especially worried since I popped it.

View 2 RepliesIve just caught it off my two young daughters (who both still have it). I paid to have a private jab £125 to vaccinate me against chicken pox as soon as my girls developed it. Anyway, a week later i felt very tired, spent all of wednesday in bed, temperature of 37.9c, went work on thursday, hot and sweaty (thinking it was the jab), friday, got up feeling rough, covered in spots (jab was too late).
Id say i had about 1-2 thousand spots, my head was one red carpet. My body, back, arms, and tops of my legs are all covered, tho not as dense. My doctor gave me a sick note for two weeks (but thats only after i told him i didnt want to self cert). But thats all he gave me. No pills, lotion, nothing.
Anyway, most days have been spent in bed with brief periods with the screaming girls. My wife has been wonderful, coping with it all, just giving me space and making sure i drink!
Oddly, the big spots have got bigger and the small ones seem to be retreating, but it just looks like really bad acne. I have also found that the areas i didnt put calmine lotion on are much more comfortable and a lot less inflamed... I left my chest alone altogether and ive hardly noticed it.
Wish id never put any on my face and head.
Im taking lemsip twice a day and any old painkillers i can find before i go bed.
I cannot see that i will be in any shape to go work in 10 days, not unless they start scabbing over soon.
I spent the first few days really worrying about the scars i may get on my face, now i couldnt care less, i just want it over asap, i want to be able to eat without pain, sit, lie down, blink without feeling the huge blisters on my eylids touching, pick things up without the blisters on my fingers screaming.
Other than that im starting to feel ok, im going to go round the house later and remove all the mirrors.
My advice, only put calomine lotion on if you need to, keep cool - avoid sweating if poss. And avoid reading stuff on the internet, this site is the exception, i want to hear from someone on day 14...
I have just come back from the Dr. and told it 'may' be CP. On Sunday (2 days ago), I noticed two spots and thought they may be bites. Thought nothing of it, but on Monday, these spots turned into 6 different blisters around the same area. I have been given calamine lotion.
It doesn't help that, as I going through my menopause, I get the odd flush (which of course could be temperature change re: CP)
I have been generally feeling unwell, but we had a hectic few days a couple of weeks ago for a big event at work and put it down to that, along with the change of weather.
It also doesn't help that I take medication for blood pressure and therefore, the odd headache may be due to that, or it may be due to CP.
I must have had what looks like a small shaving nick near my smile lines for around a year. I don't know if I just keep taking the top off it when I shave or it is something else.
View 2 RepliesStill haven't gotten my results... But it doesn't hurt to go to the bathroom anymore. I've been able to wipe fine and haven't even been itchy. Checked for bumps or anything out of the ordinary and from what I can tell there doesn't seem to be anything now. So this is what gives me hope that it is GH, but I was wondering when I can start shaving again if it does happen to be GH?

I've had this one vaginal sore for months now. Sometimes it's healing well then it opens back up again with blood and sometimes pus. I find it really hard to stop this cycle. It's on the far left, so that every time I walk, my upper thigh rubs against it and irritates it. Taking a shower will soften any healing tissue, rendering it useless. Then there's the fact that the area is just naturally moist, so that will also soften the healing tissue.
I clean it and administer neosporin if the wound opens. Sometimes I try to cover it with a band-aid but... ouch. Usually, I try to keep it covered with some sort of gauze, but that doesn't work out well because it moves around.
Does anyone have any advice for getting this thing to heal?
Yesterday i was changing the shaving blade to remove the old one in the bathroom but suddenly i cut my finger i didn't understand whether it cut by last one or new one ,My father (He is 65 years old man)shaved his face two hours before me .I didn't see any blood on the old blade and it seems dry .Now i have too much stress does it have any risk to transmit HIV ?It is not good to think about it since he is my father but unfortunately i think from yesterday.
