I've been taking cerazette for a month now but since being on it i have been having what i can only explain as shooting pains in the front of my thighs?! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced it?! The mood swings i also have are crazy! Constantly being in a mood over anything someone says......
View 1 RepliesI had the mirena coil removed at the beginning of January this year due to bad side effects and I decided to go straight back on Cerazette which previously worked really well for me. However, whether I should have or not, I've stopped taking it. I found that it was causing me to get upset over the smallest of things and just generally feel really down quite often. Has anyone else experienced this?
I was also bleeding quite heavily every other week and I have just been bleeding constantly for nearly 3 weeks so that's another reason why I've stopped. I was also experiencing quite a few of the common side effects.
So has anyone else experienced low mood/mood changes on Cerazette before? As I don't know what to do if it doesn't resolve.
I am unable to take pills with estrogen in them (due to a family history of blood clotting), and so have tried taking Cerazette to help with my PMS and period symptoms. My PMS symptoms are the worst between around Day 18/19 when progesterone is highest, so I was reluctant to take a pill that would introduce even more progesterone (especially an artificial kind), but as it is meant to suppress ovulation (which would ultimately reduce that progesterone peak) I decided to try it out.
Anyway, I started taking it around Day 20 of my cycle. At first things were REALLY good. Like it seemed to stop my PMS almost instantly and I was feeling great. A little bit more hungry, a bit of light nausea and headaches, but mostly feeling really good - a lot better than I normally would at that time of the month. On Sunday (day 27) my period was due, but didn't arrive, so I was really happy, but then randomly started feeling a little bit down in the evening in a PMS-like kind of way. On monday, I was mostly fine all day but then got a really irritable over one little thing in the evening. On tuesday, I felt yukky - very much like my usual PMS - I was cranky, tired, hungry and got upset over the silliest thing - And then started bleeding, and felt a lot better once the bleeding started. By thursday, I was still feeling a bit moody, hungry and insecure, and got a large pimple (and I never get pimples!) so I decided to stop taking it and didn't take my pill that evening.
On Friday, I actually felt worse! Couldn't concentrate much at all and was feeling really stressed out that I'd never find a solution to my PMS etc.
I think I want to keep going on Cerazette because I have had some good experiences on it (i.e when I first started taking it), but I'm terrified about the potential mood side effects and am worried it'll make me bitchy/anxious etc.
I been having stomach pains to the point for about 3 months which is really scaring me a lot I went to the hospital I thought I was my appendix but it wasn't they did x-Ray and ct scan and blood work everything come out normal but they told me I have fatty liver I also had h.pylori but don't have h.pylori no more took antibiotics and also have gastritis but still they don't find nothing but I'm still in pain it comes and goes to me it feels like it's air in my stomach it goes everywhere around to my left side to my chest but it doesn't goes away. Lately I been feeling nauseous wanna throw up I just wanna feel normal again as I write this. I have discomfort in my stomach right side I can push down with one finger on my stomach and hold it, it hurts and it feels like it's burning I don't know what to do.
View 4 RepliesMY GP recently prescribed Atorvastatin to deal with high(ish) cholesterol. I have been taking Amlodipine, Losartan and Bezafibrate without any problems but in the past 3 weeks since starting the statins I feel like crap - Nausea, muscle pains, kidney pains and total lack of energy.
The blurb with the statins indicated there could be problems with Amlodipine but I started taking them.
I am 4 weeks post TRH and was doing really well but went to physio today and mentioned that my thigh was aching a bit and so she gave it a deep massage to get the blood flowing and now it is very painful .
I have dosed myself up with mess for the night and hope it eases off .
Have any other hippies had bad thigh pain ?
I have a lump on the inside of my thigh, right beside my groin. It's not painful. It is under the skin, rounded and has a rubbery feel to it but quite solid. It's about 2cm in diameter.
Does anyone know what this can be?
I have a small red/pink lump on the top of thigh which looks like a bite. It's about the size of a bite, a bit smaller than a 5p. I went to the doctors about 4 weeks ago and he didn't seem concerned and said it was an inflamed hair follicle. I was wondering whether if there has been an infection or inflamed tissue it takes a long time to go away or it leaves scarred tissue. I am really worried about cancer as my mum had breast cancer last year. I am only 20 but im paranoid that its a cancerous lump as its hard and doesn't move.

View 6 RepliesFor the last 3 months one of my odd symptoms before the migraine start is nerve pulsing pain in the arch of my foot. Then my inner thigh on same leg get nerve pains. Then it hits the temple on the same side. And then the head pain and nausea starts. Am I crazy? Anyone else get this? Should I start my pain med when the foot nerve starts...or when the head pain finally hits. Since I also have fibromyalgia, I think oh it will just be a stretching out issue.

View 7 RepliesI have had this bump under my skin on my inner thigh for about 36 hours. It's more dark red/purple and tender to touch. It's also hard/more firm around it. It looks more like a pimple under the skin, but no whitehead or anything has appeared above the skin (at least not yet.) Other than that, I have no symptoms. It hasn't itched and I can't see any bite marks, not that there necessarily has to be any in order to be a bite.
View 1 RepliesI have had pain/discomfort in my leg for 3 weeks now it started as calf pain which changed positions from behind knee to lower down to ankle and shin. It would come and go throughout the day but seems worse when sitting down. There is no swelling or redness. It has now progressed and I have pain/discomfort in my bum cheek and upper thigh down to my ankle again it comes and goes and is worse when sitting doesn't really bother me when I'm walking around. It is mostly in my left leg although occasionally I feel discomfort in right leg also but majority of time it is my left.
View 7 RepliesI'm a 21 year old female & I was diagnosed with Sciatica in December & it's been driving me crazy since. I have had back problems in the past as I done gymnastics from a young age & studied make-up artistry for two years, both which can strain your back, also my job of working in retail has not helped. I have been in & out of the doctor's & it recently got so bad I had to go to hospital, I have been referred to physio however the waiting list is at least 10 weeks long before I will get to see someone. I've been taking advice from doctor's, I am on medication however I don't find it is helping, I have been doing stretches, yoga, going swimming, walking for as long as I can before the pain gets unbearable & to no avail. It's gotten so bad I can't sleep at night because I can't lie in a position without feeling shooting pains through my calf or my thigh. I'm really at my wits end, I'm so frustrated & down all the time because the pain is constant & it's stopping me from living my normal life & going out at the weekend with my friends. Can anyone recommend anything else that might help? The pain started in my lower back & has now spread to my calf & in the past few days has been making my foot feel numb.
View 13 RepliesI was using my gripper to help get my jogging bottoms off my operated leg being very careful not to exceed the 90deg rule. Suddenly, the most excruciating pain started inside my thigh (not wound) and groin. It was so bad it brought me to tears. Luckily the children were upstairs and they managed to get me flat in bed. I had something similar to this yesterday when I tried to move the pillow between my legs with the operated leg. The pain has subsided but I still have a dull ache inside my leg and a little discomfort at the site of hip bone.

View 1 RepliesMy friend is into his 4th month of having his tkr. It's like everyday there's something new. He had noticed an indentation on the outside of his knee. He is experiencing pain in his heel, swelling in his thigh, and pain in his back. He had to stop his PT because of the pain. He goes to his Surgeon but he just says it's going to take time. Has anyone else experienced this or similar to this?
View 11 RepliesWell back in January i accidentally hit the sharp edge of table with my thigh. It did not bleed at all, it did not hurt much either ( pain went away a few minutes after the hit thankfully) . It was a bit swollen and more red, no bleeding and it started to form bruise afterwards. Well now it is May, so 4 months after - bruise is going away but i can see that area where i hit the edge is not flat anymore. It actually has some indentation, dent in it ( not big, not much deep, rather superficial but very visible when i stand and on certain light). It also looks like it is still darkened, 4 months after, like bruise is still not completely gone. I think darkening somes from bruise still forming and not from shade of dent. Not sure
View 1 RepliesDoes anyone suffer with the same severe low back, thigh and groin pain as I have been for the past seventeen months following my radical prostatectomy. I am fine for the first twenty minutes of walking or general activity before the pains starts and increases in intensity if I don't stop. I have had M.R.I's and scans. The spinal consultant said it is caused by a lymphocele which I have had drained once, but urology don't think this is the cause. Can anyone offer any suggestions please. The nerve pain can get unbearable.

I should be on Cerazette but since not being in the mood to have sex for well more than 6 months, I haven't really been taking the "pill", I know most people are going to say ask my Doctor but I don't have an appointment till the 21st and was just wondering if the 2 can be taken together?

How do i can get back into the mood? Is it true a man can achieve an erection up to the level where the penis is heading towards to the person's head as shown in the blue films? Is blue films is one of the reason for this problem?
