Menopause :: Migraine Headaches And Pressure Headaches
I've been having migraine headaches, pressure headaches, dizziness and nausea. I kept chalking it all up to menopause. Because as most of you know, so many of these symptoms are menopause.
Last Friday, Jan 2nd at around 7:30PM my boyfriend and I were leaving a restaurant, suddenly I started getting shocks in my right leg like my leg was falling asleep, while I was walking to the car. This shocking feeling quickly radiated up my arm and into my head, all on the right side. My boyfriend quickly started toward the hospital. On the way I lost the ability to formulate sentences and words. I would say one sentence and a totally different sentence would come out. I would try to say one word and a totally different word came out. Being a former medic the only word I wanted to relay was "stroke". It felt like someone had tasted my right side. It was the most frightening thing I'd ever experienced and I was awake for the entire ride. After getting to the hospital I was in the ER for about 3 hours. Then sent to Neurology/Stroke ward. For the next few days I had a battery of MRI's, EEG, EKG's, CT Scans, Blood Work, Ultrasounds and a Spinal (Lumbar Punch). Within 6 or so hours I was able to formulate sentences and say words again. I forced myself the entire time. My right side started getting feeling back within a few days. I still have some numbness in my right hand and am experiencing peripheral neuropathy symptoms in my right leg and foot.
The neurologist found a mass in my brain. Thanks be to God that it is benign. I just found out yesterday that I am cancer free. However, they still don't know what the mass is. It could be a tumor or a jelly bean I stuffed in my nose as a child. (joking) But we won't know for a while.Also it might be inoperable too. I will be seeing the Dr on the 13th for an MRI Rx. In a month we'll do the MRI and see what has happened with this mass. Is the edema gone, has it shrunk or grown? Things like that.

I am 34 years old and about 4 years ago I started getting precum every time I got sexually excited. The more excited I get the more that is produced. It is a clear sticky substance that has no smell and is slippery when rubbed. At first I thought I might have caught an STD but after three trips to the GU clinic and every test returning negative I have ruled that out.
My question is is this normal to just start producing precum at the age of 30 and is there anything I can do to stop or reduce the amount being produced. Every time I get the slightest but sexually aroused (and I get aroused really easily) I produce it and it is embarrassing to the point that I am avoiding physical contact with my girlfriend to stop it from occurring.
Any help with this would be most appreciated as it has been driving me mad for the last 4 years.
Bells Palsy :: Started With Ear Infection
A week today I was diagnosed with an ear infection. Friday morning I had to go back to the G.P, as I have bells palsy. I'm into my 6th day with it and I'm taking steroids as well as tablets to stop me feeling dizzy. I am going on holiday in 3 weeks and I am starting to worry. I have been experiencing hair loss for the past 3 months and im not sure why. A couple pf months before i started losing hair i was on doxycycline 50mg twice a day for about two months as well as metformin for pcos. I also had my hair chemically straightened with bio ionic retex system. Although i have had the smoothing treatment before and never experienced any hair loss. I have stopped both medications and no longer blow dry or straighten myhair as i used to do it everyday. Even three months after stopping meds my hair continues to fall although it seems to have lessened somewhat. I have lost more than half of my hair which used me so thick long and curly. I went two different derms. First one checked iron, thyroid, lupus, and testostrone levels and everything came back normal. The first derm denied it could be the doxycycline however second derm said it probably was the doxycycline as she has had patients on doxy experience hair loss but assured me it would grow back. She told me to come back in three months but im so worried about it constantly and dont want to go bald. Most of hair loss seems to be on the back of head near neck/nape area and front, my part is also thinning. I dont think its the pcos because i have had that for over 5 years and never experienced hair loss or thinning before plus i heard that is supppsed to begradual mine has been all of a sudden.

I put myself in rehab for 30 days in 2002. I quit drinking for 11 years. In August of 2013 I guess I got curious and started again. First, I used to drink socially, then weekends, then it just picked up after that. I'm not at the point of blackouts or missing work. I do not drink in the morning. I do not go to the bar rooms. I drink approximately 4-6 beer a day. Each day I say I'm not going to drink but I feel like I need to just to take the edge off. I thought it's time to do something before it does get out of control like it was in 2002. I've been calling about detox but my deductible is over $2500. Is there a safe way that my doctor can help me get through this at home. There is a time coming up soon that I have 6 days off of work.

For three days my husband has been feeling giddy, he has to hold onto something when he walks otherwise he looks likes he's had a few. He's been sick once with it. He's been to GP who examined him and told him his BP was a bit high but when we got home his BzP was within normal range again. I think it was raised because we waited an hour in the surgery. Because he is a type 2 diabetic, the GP said it was connected to that and his raised BP. I know it's not his BP because it's always normal. His ears have been throbbing too but GP said no sign of infection. It seems he has to ride it whatever it is. Has anyone any idea what could be the cause please?
