Can you see follicles if you are pregnant? I had a transvaginal ultrasound scan last week and the doctor found many follicles surrounding a dominant one. He said it could be polycystic ovary syndrome but we did not have further blood tests to confirm the case. He also said the lining was getting thicker as ovulation may occur. I later requested the nurse for a pregnancy test and she declined saying I already had an ultrasound. Does having follicles mean I definitely am not pregnant? (the scan was 3 weeks after protected sex, with correct usage of condoms) So none of those follicles could be corpus luteum? Am I 100% safe? Lately I have been getting diarrhoea for no reasons except maybe anxiety or if unlucky an early pregnancy sign. Am I being overly paranoid?

I had sex on 19 June with my long-term boyfriend; we are both 18. It was our first time and we used a condom. I was not on the pills. Last Thursday, I went to a gynecologist to have a vaginal ultrasound since I have always had irregular periods. The scan showed one big follicle surrounded by multiple smaller follicles so the doctor suspected I could have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCO) . He suggested no treatment was required as I am young. So, about chances of pregnancy: my last period came on 12 June and ended on 17 June; I have not had another one yet. I am aware that chances of conception just after period finishes is low, especially we used condom. Also, I might as well not be ovulating this week due to PCO. However, is there a small chance that I am pregnant? If ultrasound showed that I have a mature follicle and smaller ones, does it mean it is impossible that there is a fertilised egg in the uterus simultaneously? Am I being overly obsessive over safety or should I go for a home pregnancy test? I have talked to my boyfriend but he is at the moment away.

Follicle sizes are same from 10th day to 16th day scan (size in Rt.O is 9mm X 2 & Lt.O is 11mm E.T on 10th day is 5.1mm & 6.1mm on 13th & 16th day).Now we are running in 16th day.since no ovulation takes palce.so please confirm that whether it is possible to conceive or not in this month.we are on 3rd cycle of fertility treatment now.

I went thru transvaginal ultrasound today..it's my 10 th day today...
there are 6-7 follicles in each ovary ..
dominant follicle in left ovary
small follicles in right
Right ovary (0.6 * 0.5 cm) (0.6*0.5 cm)
left ovary (1.8 *1.5 cm ) (0.6*0.5 cm)
what does it show about my ovarian reserve ?
My second day FSH is 6.92mIU/ml
LH is 3.84mIU/ml

I got my USG done twice. Results are as follows:
Cycle#1:
50 mg siphene for 5 days.
Day#9: Left Ovary-11mm and Right-13.3mm; ET-6mm
Day#11: Same
Day#13: 13.4 mm and 13.6mm; ET-10.5mm (sfter evadiol for 3 days)
Day#15: 13.4 mm and 11.2mm; ET- 11.2mm
I lost that cycle.
Aug'13:
100mg Good Ova from D4 till D9, D11, D12
D9: Left- 10mm, 9mm ; Right- 14.2mm; ET- 6mm
D10: Left- 11.8mm, 11mm; Right- 14.4mm; ET- 7.5mm
D11: Left- 12.9mm, 12mm; Right- 14.6mm; ET- 8mm
D13: Left- 14.2mm, 12.5mm; Right- ruptured follicle; ET- 9.5mm
Doctor asked me to try on D13, what are the chances?
Even after medicine, why my follicles are not growing up to 18-20mm.

I am 25 years old and want to take baby.I tested ultrasonogram of transverginal on day 12.
Summary of findings of the test is given below:
The endometrium is 6mm in thickness and of high echo.
The right ovary measures 4.5cm X 2.1cm X 3.7cm ,volume 19.03 cc.
The left ovary measures 4.5cm X 1.4cm X 4.1cm ,volume 13.99 cc.
Sizes of follicles of right ovary measuring about 7 mm, 6 mm in diameter.
Sizes of follicles of left ovary measuring about 6 mm, 6 mm in diameter.

I'm 16 and I've had these inflamed hair follicles for a while now. It goes along the dark line on my shaft, the circumcision 'scar'. And it spreads out at the base to my ball sac. I'm a pcos patient, I've been taken clomid 100mg for two month, in the first month there was ovulation and the follicle size reach 17 with no luck, in second month the follicle didn't respond to clomid and still small, now in my third month i took 150mg clomid and ovacare tablet, i go for ovulation follow up in day 9 and day 11 and see that i have multiple follicles but all of them are small

So I am switching jobs and I have medical check up scheduled, I haven't had any recently, so the paranoia of googling every symptom started with me, 2 days after searching I have less than 1 inch very small red dot not a bump on the side of my penis bottom doesn't hurt at all, I have ingrown hair problem with my beard and also acne, always wearing tight boxer shorts, not that much sexually active, never paid for sex or involved in a high risk sex activity, after googling for hours if not days, I am confused as to if this is just an infected follicles an ingrown hair like what I get on my beard or an std syphilis or something, I read that STDs are like region based probability I am in Europe and never noticed anything on my partners like a similar red dot rash or anything, so I just need to clear up my mind a little bit before my medical check up so I thought of posting here.

Previously I use to have irregular periods but once the right ovarian cyst is removed my periods were normal that is once in every 33 days.Recently when I gone for pelvic Ultrasound doctor Diagnosed 15 follicles in my left ovary even though I am getting my period for every 33 days.Does it comes under PCOS condition.
And I can see some white liquid coming out from my nipples.Am not pregnant,I dont have any Itching.Is it dangerous.

I'm having brown discharge continuously for 10 days before my period due date,so i went to doc n she asked me to take thyroid n Ultra,my thyroid results came normal, but ultra shows that slightly enlarged ovaries,bilateral ovaries with multiple small follicles arranged periphery, clinical correlation for PCOS, so she asked me to take oral contraceptive(YASMIN) for 3 cycles, till now i have completed 2 cycles, still i am having that brown discharge, this time the discharge has increased slightly like i have to wear a small pad,( Not so heavy).I am so much concerned about this, is this a sign of that follicles are vanishing?? Or is this a sign of Increasing follicles?? Please let me know what it is?? Before i started this medication, my periods are normal( if they are late, only about 10 days late) and i am not overweight, i don't have any acne or unwanted hair.

I noticed a rash where my groin meets my thigh, it was a bit itchy but the feeling went away a couple days ago, i was looking at it today and the skin is very dry, peeling a bit and some hair follicles appear inflamed, look like pimples. is this a mild genital herpes outbreak? i am a male and had protected sex with a women about 2 weeks ago, i had some burning sensations after the first week but they all but went away and came and went during times of high anxiety, but these hair follicles are really freaking me out.

I have missed my periods and its been 3 month to my marriage. now its been around one month as i had last periods on 10 may. i don't want child so early and got little tensed and with the reference of a doctor which is a friend of mine i took MT PILL without any confirmation of pregnancy after taking MT PILL i had minimal bleeding but when i took 2 misoprostol after 48 hours then my bleeding stops. after this i have done strip pregnancy test which was negative. in ultrasound scan my uterus size is 6.78x3.1x3.8 cm and endometrial thickness is 7.2 mm. both the ovary shows small multiple follicles arranged peripherally. PCOS nature. i dint get periods yet, i am very much afraid about all that please guide me accordingly. is anything serious in this matter

August first I had sex with a random girl,but I used a condom. During the intercourse the condom broke,it didn't take me more then 15-20 seconds the most to realise it and I stopped right there. A week or two later I shaved,but it was my first time using a buzzer,usually I trim it with scissors. Id say 2-3 weeks after the shaving(40 days after the sexual intercourse) I saw that small little white bubbles in a ring shape had occurred at the base of my pennis,and in a straight up line on the left side of the pennis. they're not painfull at all, they would get a little itchy when pressure is put on them like the laptop,the belt or skinny pants. Its almost new years eve now, I popped most of them out,and they seem to crust and disappear after I pop them,some disappeared itself but new ones keep coming out,especially after my second shave with a buzzer again. When I look at them, they're like huge hair follicles that just pop out ,and hair comes out of almost all of em. They've reduced in numbers but never disappeared. I don't remember me getting sick after the sexual intercourse,don't remember any fevers or stomach pain,except for 2-3 days ago,i had a slight stomach pain but probably it was cuz of too much drinking,now its gone. it still feels ticklish a little bit down there.what could it be guys?any ideas? please tell me its not herpes....

I've been on the shot for 2 years . Im due for another one in a few days but I don't want to take it until im sure im not pregnant. Me and my boyfriend had sex 2 weeks ago and a week ago and the day after the last time I've been feeling pregnant. This would be my second child but with my first a test couldn't tell until I was almost out of my first trimester but i knew right away that I had to be. Now it's different because I don't have a period since im on the depo. I've been having back pain, thigh cramps, migraines, tired, dizziness, and my stomach has been cramping and feeling weird. I'm some signs of being pregnant and my periods are irregular and I missed my periods for months and not under any stress at all. My boyfriend and I use protection when we have sex, but we're wondering if I am pregnant.. Cause I haven't had my periods in months like I said. I'm keep getting nausea every time I eat or my stomach turns if I eat the food I crave I just lose it. I have gain so much weight within months, mood swings, tired as usual less energy, heartburn that doesn't want to go away, there's so much signs I am having. I can't afford just yet to get a blood test done cause I don't have the money or the health insurance either. My boyfriend and I are worried if I am pregnant that our child is mostly like get my birth defect that I have. Chiari Malformation which cause a lot of headaches which leads me having really bad headaches. I not sure I am or not pregnant because of my tests I've taken say I'm not but my last test said it couldn't read it. I don't know what to do anymore I'm running out of ideas. I kinda have my hopes up that I'm pregnant and scared but then I'm not because of our money problems.

Right, so I had the implant in my arm for two years, had maybe two/ three periods in that time. Then I had it taken out due to health problems and had consecutive periods after. I had the implant put back in my arm maybe 7 months later then had it for the full three years with only a couple of really pathetic periods. But this time despite being healthy I out on lots of weight. May of this year as it was running out I had a chat with my doctors and they told me to try the injection, depo provera. So I did, but it was horrible, I was horrible. So after another conversation with my doctor they advised to let my system have a break and after I have a couple of months of normal periods find another method, so I let the injection run out in September. I have regular sex and we normally use condoms but as it normally takes your system a long time to recover from the injection I thought no bother, I also haven't had even a tiny period in over a year.
However, now I'm having pregnancy symptoms, extreme fatigue, nausea, mood swings, tender breasts, bloating and I'm complexed.
Naivity, maybe, let me to believe the odds of me getting pregnant were pretty much slim to none, these also could maybe just be symptoms of coming off constant birth control for so long however I don't know.
I don't want to completely scare my boyfriend and tell him I might be if there isn't a chance, so I haven't done a test as its something I'd want to do with him. We have been together three years, have a stable and loving home together, so although it wouldn't be bad if I was, its not ideal right now - however when is it ever?!
I just wanted to know if someone has had a similar experience, or if it's in my mind, or maybe it's a phantom. But I'm wondering if anyone can offer any experiences.
I will obviously do a test if the symptoms preserve but I'm not sure when to do one as obviously I'd need to wait a certain amount of time after the supposed missed period - which isn't there so I'm not sure if I did one now the result would be strong enough to be picked up as its so early. Any advice?
