Any moms on here have any breastfeeding experience because I'm looking for a cream that will be helpful when it comes to soothing sore nipples and keeping my skin from cracking. Wasn't prepared for all that when I had my daughter so needless to say I gave up on breastfeeding. Just want to be successful this time around.

Any advice on how to make them better? I have that lanolin cream, I've only used it once so far. Has anyone had good experience with this cream? I'm was told colostrum is also good to use.
What are my cans and cants? Foods, beverages, medicines. Obviously no drugs or alcohol or cigarettes -of course.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to soothe/heal a sore throat from acid reflux?
View 6 RepliesSo I had my son on the 26th and everyone has been telling me to switch to formula because I have flat nipples and the only way to get my son to latch is with a nipple shield. My doctor said that as long as I'm feeding him I'm doing great but my boyfriends mother is under the assumption that because I'm using a nipple shield I'm going to give my son bad teeth. Is this true?

My nipples seem to be a little sore, i really don't notice it all that much, just if i pinch them a little. i haven't had sex since before my last period. do you think this is just a symptom of the birth control or could i be pregnant?
View 1 RepliesI use to have irregular periods, but they have become regular over time. I normally have light the first day or two then it becomes heavy and lasts a week. Last month my period was due April 26th, and I ended up getting it on April 30th, I woke up and my stomach was VERY tight, I had hardness under my belly button for a few weeks before period, it was VERY light at first, light pink, and in some mucus. The next day I did not have normal clots like I get which are darker red and heavy. I got these very small light pink clots that lasted a day, and only showed up when I wiped. I had normal clots show up in toilet twice and that is it. The next few days it got lighter, and it stopped on May 4th, I stopped wearing pads on the 3rd day it was so light. I never have periods that light and that short. My nipples are still sore, my stomach still hurts and is a little tight still, have horrible acid reflux, and gas. What could this be? My friend and boyfriend both think I am pregnant, but I don't think I am. I took a test over a week ago and it was a BFN.

View 1 RepliesTo start off, I've been on birth control for longer than a year now. And I am two weeks away from my period. So last week Saturday my boyfriend and I had protected and unprotected sex. Then Monday afternoon I realized my nipples were very tender and they hurt to squeeze or touch. Today is Friday and they still hurt. I do not have any other pregnancy symptoms. But I would just like to make sure im not pregnant. And what other cause is there? My boobs have been growing so is it possible my nipples are growing too?
View 1 RepliesDec. 25 me and My boyfriend had unprotected sex, we were using the pullout method but I don't think he pulled out well about a week later we had sex again on the 27, 29, 30, and 31 we still used the same method. on the 27 we used a condom but it ended up coming off inside me (I got it out). And around the first of January I got a really small out of light pink discharge then later on that day it turned brown then stopped , this was weird because I don't spot before My period. the next day (jan. 2) I started bleeding really light and it lasted for about 5 days (My period was suppose to start around the 10) and I always have real bad pms symptoms but I didn't. couple days go by and I start getting real tired than before and I keep getting light headaches. My stomach begins to feel nauseous, and I get small cramps in My lower abdominal area right above My vagina. these feelings last for almost a week or two, and yesterday I happened to notice the area near My uterus (between the vagina and belly button) to look a little swollen My nipples darker (or I'm Just seeing stuff) I got diarrhea for about a day and now I keep getting little cramps in abdominal area. so I was wondering could I possibly be pregnant?

View 8 RepliesAbout a month ago I noticed I had a sore on my left buttox and I picked at it and it turned into an open sore. I went to the doctor and was prescribed the antibiotic keflex. It started to heal a little bit but after 7 days the medicine ran out. It is now an open sore that is always oozing liquid. It won't heal and it's very painful. What do I do?

I thought it might be a spot, but then started reading about Hemorrhoids.
When I went to the toilet shortly ago after I defecated I wiped and there was quite a lot of dark red blood on the toilet tissue. The pain was sort of gone then, like it had released the pressure. I immediately applied germolene to it as that seemed like the best product to use from the house.
My questions...Do you think that sounds like Hemorrhoids? Is the likelihood it will go away on its own if I drink plenty of water and eat plenty of fruit? Should I go out and buy some Hemorrhoid cream from the supermarket?
I have never had this before. I have not had irregular bowel movements, diarrhea or constipation recently although have had IBS symptoms on and off for years now. This lump is in no way connected to the inside of my anus. It felt like the size of a pea, maybe slightly smaller.
I have no discomfort from the piles just this small amount of blood every day. I'm worrying myself sick it's bowel cancer and am scared to go back to doctor. I have a terrible fear of having to have anesthetic if I needed an operation. I just wondered if what I have is normal symptoms of piles?

I experienced impetigo for the first time about 4 months ago which was treated with antibiotics(flucloxacillin)-it appeared again & treated with antibiotics & a 3rd time-I thought this had cleared when i got it again 1 day before my hols last week & when i returned home this week--I have been prescribed 1 months supply of antibiotics again 4 a day for 2 weeks then 2 a day for 2 weeks also i use fucidin cream----I am 56 yrs old very clean & very fed up & upset--what am i to do about this?
