View 2 RepliesExactly one week and 1 day ago I received unprotected oral sex from a sex worker in South Africa (known for HIV). It lasted for about 30 minutes. I know I made a major mistake. Statistically she had HIV as 70% of sex workers are positive. She had false teeth in her mouth and removed it for the purposes of the ******* which means she definitely had blood in her mouth and there was deep throating involved. I am more than certain I got the virus and don't know how to deal with it. I know many people experience phantom pains but I definitely have tender lymph nodes in my face and neck, fever, sore throat, all the typical signs I contracted the virus. I took a test 2 days after and of course it was negative due to the window period and no prior sexual experience (NONE). I am considering taking my own life due to this issue. I come from a VERY conservative family and they would never be able to deal with this. What should I do?
View 25 RepliesTo start off, I've been on birth control for longer than a year now. And I am two weeks away from my period. So last week Saturday my boyfriend and I had protected and unprotected sex. Then Monday afternoon I realized my nipples were very tender and they hurt to squeeze or touch. Today is Friday and they still hurt. I do not have any other pregnancy symptoms. But I would just like to make sure im not pregnant. And what other cause is there? My boobs have been growing so is it possible my nipples are growing too?

View 2 RepliesSo since 09 I have had incidents where I get pain in my upper abdomen. Usually it's shortly after a meal, but sometimes it does creep up on me a few hours post meal. It varies in severity and duration. In the beginning I only had it once/twice a year, but the pain was excruciating for 4-7 hours. Fast forward to 2011 I started having these incidents like every 4 months, but with less pain. In 2014 I had an incident every month, but pain again was less. Here in 2015, it seems to be going backwards. I have incidents every 2,5 months now and the pain is far from what it was in 09, but its still painful (its a dull squeezing kind of pain). Sometimes it will go away if I drink a smoothie containing ginger,lemon, beetroot and stuff like that. Other times I need to go for a walk. But then there are times when nothing but time helps. The only pattern I have been able to identify is, that if I am very hungry and eat some junk, then I MIGHT get it. Other than that, I have not been able to find any pattern to when I get them.
I fear it might be Chronic Pancreatitis. This worries me a great deal.
Stools have also been acting weird. Switching between brown/yellowish-brown in color and consistency is mainly normal, but also range between somewhat loose/normal/hard
My stomach is also somewhat tender to touch in the upper right side/middle. Feels sorta like how a black eye would. Nothing too painful at all, but still something I notice here and there, since I can sometimes feel it when I walk around.
Two months ago I had my stomach looked at by a doctor performing a gastroscopy. He didn't find anything there. No ulcers. He also did an ultrasound of my gallbladder and apparently also my pancreas (Only thing he said was it looked good and that I had no gallstones).
I was diagnosed with shingles in my forehead and eye 6 weeks ago,( the worst kind!!) and after weeks of discomfort with eye and forehead re-infecting, watering eye, headaches , itching etc, I now feel better in myself and my vision is ok, but unfortunately I have had complications ands am left with such painful neuralgia, my head hurts just to touch it and my temple is so tender, I have been told that this can go on for months or longer.

Of all sudden, I had a painful swelling abdominal and soreness/pulling pain around waist yesterday coupled with giddiness and headache. Is it normal having a regression during recovery period? Any remedy members could share esp. now I still can't exercise. I put on an abdominal binder now to ease the pain slightly.
I'm experiencing sever lower abdominal pain directly after sex. The pain is so severe that I cannot breathe or walk comfortably until it subsides. Sitting makes the pain worse. My boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex only twice, the last time was about a week and a half to two weeks ago. My main concern is pregnancy as we are both only 17. Could this be a sign of pregnancy? I felt very nauseated while the pain was present. The pain did not go away until after about 3 hours. When I woke up the next day I had small pains, more of an achy feeling, in the same area.

View 1 RepliesI had sex for the first time not to long ago and during it I noticed I was bleeding. I wasn't to concerned with it, because I thought the hymen just broke. The second time I had sex, I bled again, but it was worse. There was no pain, but I was starting to get concerned with the amount of blood. I stopped having sex, but my partner did finger me. Afterwards, I got up to go to the bathroom and noticed blood in my underwear. I'm starting to get concerned with it because it doesn't seem normal for me to bleed during every sexual activity. I'm not on birth control, but I'm using condoms. Any other time I've been fingered I haven't bled. My last resort is going to the doctor to figure out the problem. Is this normal to happen and will it stop? or Is there an actual problem?

View 1 RepliesHad my op last week so only a week out, well I was told it was going to be painful but I'm in so much pain today after going to the toilet. Constant stabbing pain, taken tramadol and nurofen but no relief, Feeling quiet sick with it to. Saw nurse yday said it was swollen and really bruised but this has been the worse day by far. I had 4 removed grade 3 and 4 and was told they were very large, also a thrombotic skin tag which was was hanging down about 12 mm. Just want to no does this pain get better soon struggling to cope today. Any idea on how to cope with the pain to getting quite depressed now.

When we first started it felt pleasing but after a few minutes I told him to stop due to the pain I began feeling, tiny pinches almost. I went to the bathroom and noticed blood in the toilet. I didn't panic much because I experienced this before when I lost my virginity 3 years prior. But when I woke up this morning I was so bloated as if I were starting my period and noticed even more blood in my underwear, but thin streaks of blood (not normal period blood). Now that scared me a little. I'm not sure if I erupted my period or (I do come on in a week) or if it's because I'm not used to something that big and tore something (hadn't had inter course in 2 years prior to this). We did have protected sex. After reading all the symptoms of cervical cancer I'm very nervous and am scared to go to a doctor.
View 1 RepliesSo last Tuesday I had my copper coil fitted. I explained before hand that I was going on holiday four days after and the nurse suggested I stay on my pill (cerazette) for the duration of my holiday to avoid having a period.
The process was pretty straight forward it did hurt and I did vomit and feel about weird afterwards but I think that's because I hadn't eaten in a few hours.
Anyway, fast forward just over a week now and I'm still getting really bad cramps and bleeding quite a lot even though I'm still taking my pill. Taking pain relief helps but I just wanted to know is this normal?
So I had laprascopic gallbladder surgery a week ago. I have healed up externally OK, but have pretty bad pain where my gallbladder was. What's going on?
View 7 RepliesHave been getting a heaviness across the stomach which is very uncomfortable, plus Lots of stinging and the Obvious aches and pains from surgery.
As have IBS, Barrett's Oesophagus and severe diverticulitis it's sometimes hard to know what discomfort belongs to what.
Have taken tramadol which 2 hours later is easing up. Is this heaviness normal.
One week after having unprotected sex a yellow pus discharge appeared with pain when urinating and pain on erection at bottom part of the penis do i have an STI?
