I am hungry all the time and also my abdomen right side hurts. I don't know what else to do. I feel like there is something bothering me there and the pains travels from right to left and someone to the back.

Really gets worst at night when I am sleeping. It's been little over 2 weeks.
Currently I have started drink fruit juice and very lite food.
Im currently 35 weeks+3 days and yesterday the doctor told me my baby's head was down already .. And I've been having pressure pain towards my lower abdomen towards like my vagina since last night ..? Its my first baby so don't know if this is normal or not ..??
View 2 RepliesIt started two days ago when I started getting dizzy and lightheaded. Kind of like when you are going to sleep and you start having that floating feeling (fun at that time, but not when you are acting for young children). Later that day I started getting chills and shivers. No fever. I also got very painful trapped gas. (The gas is not unusual for me when I don't eat enough). That evening I started getting a stabbing pain by my left hip bone (ovary?) and it was radiating to my rib cage and back around to my lower back.
Yesterday, all of the above continued and my entire lower back was sore. On the pain scale it is about an 8. I have a very high tolerance for pain. I also have a mild headache in addition to all of this. And I have random shooting pains all over my body.
The pain was less this morning, bit is getting worse as the day goes on. I can barely stand and function.
I am breastfeeding a 9 month old if that makes a difference. I not pregnant.
I recently had a CT for another issue, however the CT showed a 6 cm cyst on the left ovary and a 3 cm cyst on the right ovary. I have had a lot of lower back pain, side pain, abdominal pain and constipation. Should I be concerned??
View 1 RepliesI'm a 27 year old female and I've been having abdominal pain for 2 months now. I've had a CT scan and blood tests done and everything came back normal other than an elevated WBC in the urinalysis. I can't get in to see my doctor for a few days and just want some peace of mind. I'm having bad sharp upper abdominal pain. It started on the left side originally but is now happening all over my stomach and I'm ridiculously bloated. I started having weird bone pain a few weeks afterward--there is no pattern. My hands will hurt, then my left leg will hurt, then my right hip, etc. Today I started noticing a metallic taste in my mouth as well. Anyone know what this could be? I've researched everything from hemochromatosis (my mom carries the gene) to H Pylori but nothing fits perfectly.
View 2 RepliesMy husband has been suffering from lower left pain and tenderness in his abdominal area. He also has loose stool and a lot of the time feels like he needs to go, but can't. Cramping included. He randomly feels nauseous. His pain is also cause with eating, so he avoids eating big portions. He does eat yogurt, one cup a night. It sometimes helps. He has had a colonoscopy done and it was clean. Heartburn is also included, he takes rolaids every night. I just wish I could help him. I hate seeing him in pain! What is wrong with him?
View 1 RepliesFor about 1 and a half years I have had constant stomach pain; from a few hours a day to whole days at a time. Some days the pain is bearable but other days I literally cannot move and have to go on my hands and knees to help shift the pain.
The doctors firstly diagnosed me with an acid issue and prescribed Omeprazole. This medication did not help me at all.
I was referred to the Gastroenterologist who done some checks and blood tests and thought it may be a bad case of IBS.
I have taken numerous IBS medication which has also failed to work for me. I am on Tramadol and Co-codamol to help relieve the pain but it only lasts so long.
Often when I get these stomach pains I get cold sweats and a temperature with nausea. The doctors are determined that the issue with IBS with acid issues but I don't have any of the symptoms of IBS besides stomach pain and no certain foods seem to bring the pain on.
I have a little bit of abdominal pain and blood drops when I go pee can someone please hint to me what this might be?
View 1 RepliesI was admitted to hospital with acute abdominal pain. I was there for ten days. I had a ct scan an ultrasound scan and an endoscopy they found nothing. I was sent home with codeine paracetamol oral morphine anti sickness tablets buscopan lansoprazole senna and movicol. I have been home 4 days and still feel awful. The pain is on my right side just beneath my ribs and becomes worse after eating and drinking. When i eat my whole stomach swells and becomes hard and the pain is worse i also feel nauseous. If i walk the pain comes on worse and it is painful to bend and sit straight up. I am constipated for a few days then very loose. Please can you tell me what to do next? The pain under my ribs is there all the time and can vary from mild severe to cut my stomach is constantly tender.

View 1 RepliesI have been having pain in my right breast for about six weeks now. The pain travels between the arm pit and breast, but is mainly a stabbing pain on the top of my right breast. When i just lightly squeeze my nipple it has clear discharge coming from it and can actually decrease the pain in my breast for a short time. I do get a stabbing pain in my left breast now and again but no discharge. Pain in the right breast can last a few hours at a time,or constantly on
certain days. It does feel a bit lumpy but i don't know the difference between a possible cancer lump or normal one. I hope i can get an answer or possibility of what is happening with me. I am 40years old, i had my only child 22years ago, i also had a mammogram and ultrasound and had one lump just outside of my right breast under my armpit taken a sample of, when i was 38 years old but everything was normal. Hope someone can help me.

View 1 RepliesI had this stool with bright red blood yesterday and today. I couldn't tell how much blood there is but the water became bright red with 50% visibility (I looked at the stool ). I don't feel any pain and I feel nothing at all on my body. The day before I had the stool with blood, I drank four cups of green tea. I know tea is acidic but I am not sure if this is the cause of it. My urine is fine and without blood.
View 1 RepliesI am new to this so sorry if it is not tight but here it goes I have been having to get up at 12am after going to sleep to go to the toilet. I would then have severe diarrhea and even though I did not need to go anymore stay on in fear as I would still have a stomach ache . this happens almost every night. I have seen a doctor and been told it was abdominal migraines and that it would pass. Oh what I should mention is that back in 2010 Easter I suffered extremely bad colitis ( I think that is spelt wrong sorry) anyway I then had my appendix removed this year Easter on emergency and was then told my stomach's would finish then. But they didn't and are gradually getting worse?
View 1 RepliesThroughout the past weekend I had begun getting abdominal cramps & becoming rather gassy. Yet, I thought nothing of the cramps, believing they just had something to do with my period then. On Saturday night, I had woken up with diarrhea accident & went to the bathroom only to have more yellow very watery stool. I tried to go back to bed, but it just happened again & worse. Sunday I slept in all day, and by the evening I had lost much of my appetite and ate just fruits,yogurt, cheese hotdogs & water. Monday I was relatively fine, I was more sluggish & tired than usual and didn't have an appetite. That whole day I only ate string cheese, salami pieces, butter on toast & ribs. I also drank a bit of milk. I realized that this milk was expired by a day only after I drunken it. I drank allot of milk on Saturday so that may be the issue. Thus, I drank a few glasses of another (non expired) milk carton. While I thought it was gone, it proved me wrong. Last night the same thing happen, yet not as bad.
Could this be due to the expired milk? Could I be lactose intolerant?
I have had issues with a frequent urination and a constant pressure on my bladder for over a year now. But since January of this year I have been experiencing extreme pain in my low low abdomen (like groin/cervix area). The pain also resides in my stomach and back. My ribs are sore to touch and I am constantly achy. I have been to the doctors who have done internal exams and say that everything LOOKS ok. I am 20 years old and my periods are regular. The pain is becoming a real problem and I'm becoming increasingly concerned. I have had ultrasounds on my pelvis and kidneys and they were fine. I've been put on meds to stabilise my bladder, but the gynaecologist won't see me for another 4 months. I know there is something further wrong with me - I can't understand why the pain keeps occurring. I don't enjoy having sex due to pain and a constant discomfort and pressure-like feeling. I'm starting to get very depressed as there is no diagnosis being made and all the tablets I am given do nothing.

A week or two ago I was having this weird feeling, like tugging, in my belly button it was accompanied by some sharp pains on and off. A few days ago i noticed that the right side of my tummy, starting in the lower right quarter of my belly button and going about two - three inches down and about the same to the right, maybe a bit further, was swollen. It isn't super noticeable unless you look right in my belly button because I have some tummy fat, but the right is absolutely swollen. It is not a lump, but honestly just feels like fatty tissue or water retention. It isn't very tender, sometimes it feels like there is a bruise but there isn't, there is a spot that seems more tender. I have had this sharp tearing pain but it is very random and hasn't been bed enough for an ER visit. When I walk it hurts but it is very dull.
I have a doctors apt on monday but I am worried that this could be something bad.
I am not sure if this is related but it seems like it is (TMI sort of period stuff below just a heads up...)
I usually have normal/ heavy periods that last about 5-6 days. This time it started off very light, the next day i had about 12 hours of soaking a regular tampon in like an hour and a half (this is really unusual) and then it tapered off that night. The bleeding only lasted 2-3 days and the last bit was this strange copper color as opposed to bright red or brown. This is pretty strange for me.
I'm 16 years old, and I have now been sick for over a month (I first got sick at the end of November). I have been experiencing stomach pain/discomfort that comes and goes. It is generally all through the middle of my abdomen, but I have also noticed that I sometimes get sharp, shooting pains on the left side. The pain is worse after I eat, and it doesn't matter what I eat, the pain is still there. I don't have much of an appetite, but I have been trying to eat because I know that I should. This is extremely difficult, though. I have lost almost 10 pounds in the past month because I haven't been eating much, and really don't feel like eating. I've also been having horrible diarrhea.. sometimes I will need to use the washroom three or four times a day. I have tried taking Imodium for the diarrhea, but I always end up extremely constipated.. and the diarrhea only returns (I might have one regular bowel movement, but after that the diarrhea just comes back). I'm exhausted as well. I just want to sleep all the time, and I find it hard just to keep my eyes open throughout the day. My lower back is also constantly aching.. I just do not feel well at all.
I have been to see my doctor 4 times because I just don't seem to be getting any better. He initially thought that I had a viral infection, but after I did not improve after two weeks, he decided to run some tests. I gave a urine sample and he said that I probably had a kidney infection (but he wasn't 100% sure because I had my period when I gave the sample). He put me on medication, and sent me for blood work. I also had to give a stool sample. All of my tests came back normal, but the medication didn't help at all. The next time I saw him, he said that I might have an ulcer, and put me on apo-omeprazole, which I have been taking for about two weeks now. I'm also on medication for a case of bronchitis.
I am incredibly frustrated because nothing seems to alleviate my symptoms. I have missed 15 days of school because I just feel terrible. My parents think that I might be making it all up, or that it's all in my head, and my doctor has suggested the same thing (he told me that there was "absolutely no reason" a person my age would be experiencing symptoms like this for so long. I am NOT making this up, and I know that it ISN'T all in my head. I just wish that someone would actually take me seriously and believe me when I say that something is wrong. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Tuesday, but I just don't know how to cope at school until then. I'm also scared that the ultrasound will come back normal, just like all the other tests I've had done. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I'm desperate for answers and ways that I can cope.. I want to get back to school and my life.
I am on my 5th week post-op TAH (removed uterus, cervix and Fallopian tubes). I was recovering well in the past few weeks with reducing pains.
Of all sudden, I had a painful swelling abdominal and soreness/pulling pain around waist yesterday coupled with giddiness and headache. Is it normal having a regression during recovery period? Any remedy members could share esp. now I still can't exercise. I put on an abdominal binder now to ease the pain slightly.
