I am 22 year old. My question is that I had a baby 3 month ago, and noticing when I go to the bathroom, my urine smells really bad, and its cloudy (smells like port-a-potty). I also experienced that I can't hold my pee.

Every time I take off my underwear to go to use the bathroom, before sex, go to bed, etc. My underwear has a strong smell of urine and its so embarrassing. I've been to my doctor and she took a blood sample and a urine sample and everything came back normal. Now she wants me to get an ultrasound to make sure all my organs are ok. I feel completely fine except for the smell. I don't know what to do. I feel like it's taking so long for my doctor to figure out what is wrong. So plz if anyone has any suggestions to help me with the urine smell let me know. It's so embarrassing. I'm constantly wondering if other ppl can smell it even when I have my pants on.
View 4 RepliesMy boyfriend and I have been sleeping together for a couple of months now and I've noticed that my urine has become quite pungent, but my discharge is still odorless. My urine doesn't just smell foul immediately following sex, but it seems to just stay that way for the rest of the week in between our sexy times. I don't have any signs/symptoms of any sti either and I also drink an average of 2-4 liters of water daily so I'm not dehydrated. What's going on?

View 4 RepliesToday morning I waked up after sleeping about 9 hours (without going to the bathroom and after drinking a lot before the sleep). After going to the bathroom I felt pretty acute pain in my lower abdominal. It became milder during the day, still preserving though and appearing sometimes with more strength while changing position (sitting, or standing) and also reminding about itself sometimes after urinating (but not always). It kind of feels like muscle pain and earlier could be felt also while touching the muscles close to the penis. Now it is way milder, but didn't go. Can this be a result of muscle stretch or something like this?

View 1 RepliesI believe I have an UTI. I am VERY clean when it comes to "Down There" It concerns me because It hurts when I pee, but at the very end. It also has a funny smell, as if you left urine to sit for days. Also, sometimes afterwards, my clitoris is waaaay more sensitive to movements and the way I walk. I've done some research and I've found that cranberry juice and water helps flush out the system. What do you think I should do? (I'm a virgin by the way, if that helps any) Thank you!! Also...I've used a different brand of soap when I wash down there.... Do you think that could've caused it?

The dipstick test showed blood in my urine...though I have been having some other health issues as well...but this medicine was prescribed when the urine sample had blood.
I am worried that I might be having the wrong medicine, as nothing is improving.
I need to understand, how long should I wait for the improvement signs. I am worried. I feel dizzy after this medicine, and my health is getting worse.
I am a 72 year old women and at night when I wake up to pee I have to strain to finally go. It only does this at night. Any ideas what causes this?
View 1 RepliesI had my TURP operation 8 weeks ago, the bleeding stopped after about 10 days and along with a few scabs. At the moment I find when I go to pass urine, although it comes out fast, there does not seem to be a great amount. Has anyone else come across this.
View 44 RepliesI had irregular bowel movements for months and i finally became regular the last two weeks but something is terribly wrong because my stool is dark/black and smells like rotten eggs every time, my nutrition is in check because i am a bodybuilder and i consume 30-35 grams of fiber every day and eat all the micro nutrients I need, my macro nutrients are roughly 80 grams of fat and 180 grams of protein and rest of the calories are carbs ( i eat around 3000 calories every day.
Note: I was eating the right amounts of nutrients even while constipated.
is there any health issue i could be facing?
BTW I am 18 years old.

View 1 RepliesI've had two bladder neck stricture surgeries at two month intervals after open RP and recently a urethral stricture.
Uro recommends daily dilation for a year using a Cook Medical dilation balloon catheter.
Recently had blood/clots in the urine which cleared after up after 3 hours but now I have a lot more irritation getting the catheter past the urethra stricture.
Uro says any further Urethrostomy would be serious as he has already cut close to the sphincter ...does this also rule out Urethroplasty?
Has anyone found that daily dilation works long term or does the stricture eventually close in.
I noticed that after waiting 3 days for a new catheter to arrive it was then very difficult to insert it. ...as opposed to daily dilation.
I Had a repair to mucosal part of rectum a week ago.. i am quite a lot of pain at the moment every time I try to wee the rectum comes down and a keep popping small stools which cause lots of pain I now cannot empty bladder properly and have a uti i seem to I In more pain not less. I have just gone on all fours on floor to try and wee and poo was there for 30 mins with pain from rectum and bladder. I eventually passed wee and poo....now still in pain at 3.40 am. So fed up ..don't know what to do with myself. Thinking of going on a liquid only diet to take strain.
View 5 RepliesI am a 16 year old girl who for the most part was healthy prior to the start of my digestive problems. I am 5"3 and have never weighed over 99 lbs but my weight has now dropped to below 94 lbs due to inability to eat without pain and nausea. Around August 2011, I started having moderate-severe nausea and abdominal pain following most/all meals, which over time progressed to be nearly constant pain and nausea that made eating nearly unbearable. Starting in early March, I had multiple blood tests, an ultrasound, a HIDA scan, and an upper endoscopy. The only explanation offered to my mother (a doctor) and myself was that my gallbladder was hyperactive and excreted bile way too quickly, with an ejection fraction of 89%. Normal ejection fractions are considered to be roughly between 30-75%, but high ejection fractions are a gray area in the medical world at the moment, as most bad gallbladders have a low ejection fraction. All the children's surgeons refused to take out my gallbladder for this reason, but with it being our only hope we searched for a surgeon willing to take the chance. We were luckily able to find a surgeon with some knowledge of hyperactive gallbladders who removed my gallbladder in early May. My surgery went well and there were no complications immediately following. I did not have constant diarrhea following my procedure and my pain and nausea were alleviated until approximately early-mid June. I began having moderate nausea and pain again following nearly all foods and some drinks such as slushies or shakes. It increasingly worsened but has not yet reached the constant pain/nausea i was experiencing pre-surgery. I also had approximately 3-5 bouts that lasted about 10-20 minutes of extreme nearly unbearable pain, usually in my left abdomen just below the ribs approximately 20-30 minutes after I had eaten. Each time brought me to the floor and to tears. I visited the GI doctor again July 5 and was told their best explanation was Functional Dyspepsia and that I should begin taking 30g Amitriptyline each night. I was told results should appear approximately 3 weeks after I start regular dosage, which I did on July 5. I have seen some improvement in my pain and nausea as they do not necessarily occur after every single time I eat anymore, but they are still way too frequent and persistent for me to feel normal, much less function normally. Over the past week or so, my stools have been a bright green color and my urine has been clear for the most part. There seems to be no connection between my symptoms and my hormones as they do not worsen or alleviate with my menstrual cycle. I am sick and tired of being so sick and tired as my symptoms have majorly impacted my life and prevented me from participating in many things as they caused me to miss over 40 days of school just since January 2012. Please please please offer any ideas or thoughts you might have, i truly am desperate.

I saw my GP yesterday because I'm having very bad lower back pain mainly toward the right side and down my right thigh & leg. Its more painful when I want to pass water. My GP tested my urine and and she said I have protein in it. I am now waiting to hear the result of the test. She thinks it could be a kidney infection, but has not prescribed antibiotics. Or it could be something to do with a Cyst I have in my Left Kidney.
I am so worried about this because of my age (72 in May). I was also diagnosed a year ago with HIATUS HERNIA, GALLSTONES, DUODENITIS & DIVERTICULITIS.
I have acidity problem. If I eat Beets (Beetroot), next day morning my urine and motion will be in beet red color. Is it a health problem?

I am still having stitches break thru at the top of my vagina where my cervix was removed. It hurts! I'm going to the Doctor Monday, but very scared. I have moved and this will be the first time seeing him. Do any of you know what I will have to look forward too? What might he do?

I am so sick of these heart palps.. Never having them before anxiety, I have become so distressed..
