Bladder Disorders :: Trimethoprim 300 Mg For 7 Days - No Improvement
The doctor prescribed me Trimethoprim 300 Mg for 7 days. I am having it since last 3 days now but nothing has improved.
The dipstick test showed blood in my urine...though I have been having some other health issues as well...but this medicine was prescribed when the urine sample had blood.
I am worried that I might be having the wrong medicine, as nothing is improving.
I need to understand, how long should I wait for the improvement signs. I am worried. I feel dizzy after this medicine, and my health is getting worse.
Eustachian Tube Dysfunction Cause Vertigo That Lasts A Couple Of Hours?
I have recently been diagnosed with Meniere's disease because I had a few vertigo attacks, hearing loss, tinnitus, and ear fullness.
However, after much thought I am beginning to doubt that diagnosis. My ETD had been blocked for exactly the same time my symptoms appeared, I know that easily through the valsalva maneuver, my good ear is clear and bad one is blocked. Also, my bad ear does not pop properly after a flight. And my most severe symptoms happen within a few days after flying, which happened twice. I was vertigo free for 6 weeks in between the 2 flights. Another weird thing is I only get vertigo attacks in the morning right after I wake up, as if my horizontal sleeping position had something to do with it.
My questions:
1) Is it possible with ETD to get vertigo (room spinning) or severe dizziness attacks lasting up to a couple of hours?
2) Do any of you ETD sufferers sense that you get more dizzy after you get up from bed?

Sertraline And PTSD - Bouts Of Anxiety For A Couple Of Days
I have PTSD and have been struggling lately. My Dr prescribed me Sertraline about 7 weeks ago. I started on 25mg and have increased to 50mg.
Initially I had a few wobbles but persevered and feel so much better generally. The problem is that I feel pretty good then will suddenly drop and feel anxious for a couple of days. I feel shaky and as if I'm having internal tremors. I felt like this before the tablets too.
Another problem is that I'm already only a UK size 6. I have bowel disease and struggle to maintain a healthy weight. Now I've dropped half a stone again so only weigh 8 stone and I'm 5 foot 7.
The last 2 days I've felt 'nervy' again.
Bladder Disorders :: Really Thirsty And A Lot Of Clear Pee
I've started to get really thirsty, and I drink a lot of water everyday. I have to go to the toilet about every 10 minutes, and the pee is clear. Maybe I should drink less, but I get really thirsty so I can't. I'm really tired to, but I don't know if has to do with it.

I believe I have an UTI. I am VERY clean when it comes to "Down There" It concerns me because It hurts when I pee, but at the very end. It also has a funny smell, as if you left urine to sit for days. Also, sometimes afterwards, my clitoris is waaaay more sensitive to movements and the way I walk. I've done some research and I've found that cranberry juice and water helps flush out the system. What do you think I should do? (I'm a virgin by the way, if that helps any) Thank you!! Also...I've used a different brand of soap when I wash down there.... Do you think that could've caused it?

I've had two bladder neck stricture surgeries at two month intervals after open RP and recently a urethral stricture.
Uro recommends daily dilation for a year using a Cook Medical dilation balloon catheter.
Recently had blood/clots in the urine which cleared after up after 3 hours but now I have a lot more irritation getting the catheter past the urethra stricture.
Uro says any further Urethrostomy would be serious as he has already cut close to the sphincter ...does this also rule out Urethroplasty?
Has anyone found that daily dilation works long term or does the stricture eventually close in.
I noticed that after waiting 3 days for a new catheter to arrive it was then very difficult to insert it. ...as opposed to daily dilation.

I Had a repair to mucosal part of rectum a week ago.. i am quite a lot of pain at the moment every time I try to wee the rectum comes down and a keep popping small stools which cause lots of pain I now cannot empty bladder properly and have a uti i seem to I In more pain not less. I'm 14 years old and yesterday school started after two weeks of holidays. I went to bed at 11 PM and woke up at 4 AM. I tried to go back to sleep but I just couldn't. At 6 AM I got up and got ready for school. After school I was really tired and took an hour long nap, but I was still extremely tired. I went to bed at 9 PM and fell asleep in a second. I woke up at 2:30 AM and tried my best to fall asleep, but it didn't work. Its 6 AM right now and Ive done some homework, as I couldnt do them yesterday because I was so tired. The thing is, this didn't happen in my holiday, and I get really cranky when I don't get enough sleep. Do I have insomnia?

Retina Migraine - Blind Migraines A Couple Of Years Ago
I started getting these 'blind' migraines a couple of years ago. I went to see a specialist, had a brain scan and blood tests, and this is the name given to my problem. They start with an aura, usually over one eye and then develop slowly. I end up seeing wwwww inside one eye. It takes 20/40 minutes for it to disappear. I am usually left with a sore head rather than a painful migraine.
They have been quiet since Christmas and for some reason have started again. I can't seem to find much out about them on the internet and thought I would come onto this great site to see if anyone else has the same type of symptoms.
It may help to know I am female and in my 60's. Have suffered all types of migraine since I was about 13. I don't drink much either. Maybe a glass of wine now and again.

Am not sure if I am squirting or I am peeing , that's the issue.I have had orgasms before(usually on my own)and when it happens, this peeing nonsense doesn't surface. I went to the doctor as i am constantly running to the toilet. I also feel a lot of pressure. I am 46 years old. I am trying to loose weight but can't walk far as i then need to pee. I pee approx 15-20 times a day. Blood tests show no diabetes etc. My doctor examined me and says i have a cystocele, he said it wasn't as bad as he expected going by my symptoms. He did say tho that everything is crammed in there (whatever exactly that means i am not sure) He is referring me to get a pelvic ultrasound and then consult with gynecologist. He thinks i may benefit more from surgery as he thinks the other treatments don't work as well for me.
Anyone had similar symptoms with a mild cystocele?
Periods Heavy For 2 Days, Medium For 2 Days, Then Light For 1-2 Days
Please tell me is my period flow normal. I used to get 5-6 day periods, heavy for 2 days, medium for 2 days, then light for 1-2 days until it tapered off and ended. It was this way even when I was on birth control.
For the past few months now, I have been getting 3-4 day periods, where the first day is really just some spotting indicating my period is going to be starting. The second day is my heavy day. The third day is medium light. The 4th day is light. I'm still on birth control. I am 30 years old now.
Also last month, my period color was dark brown and I also had some black colored clotting during my heavy day. I know some blood clots are normal during menstruation, I had them all my life. But this blood clot was black. Again this month on my heavy day, I had black colored clot. It was a dime size clot. Size was not large. Is black color clotting anything to worry about? I do not see red blood these past two periods like I am used to seeing. I am seeing mostly brown and/or black.
And how can I increase my menstrual flow. I am worried that my endometrium lining is thinning and can cause a problem when I do try for children.
