Bladder Disorders :: Pain After Urinating

I believe I have an UTI. I am VERY clean when it comes to "Down There" It concerns me because It hurts when I pee, but at the very end. It also has a funny smell, as if you left urine to sit for days. Also, sometimes afterwards, my clitoris is waaaay more sensitive to movements and the way I walk. I've done some research and I've found that cranberry juice and water helps flush out the system. What do you think I should do? (I'm a virgin by the way, if that helps any) Thank you!! Also...I've used a different brand of soap when I wash down there.... Do you think that could've caused it?

I have just recently stopped taking my birthcontrol for about a month now and I have just finished my period. The last three times I have had my period, The day after my period has stopped I get almost like a crushing pain in my bladder and I can barely pee. The first time it happened was three months ago and it lasted about a week, the second time it happened was two months ago and it lasted a few days and now today it lasted about 3 hours. I have taken a urinalysis and the doctor had told me I didn't have a UTI, he said he would call me if anything else came up and i never received a call (about three months ago). I have been with the same person for about six months now and prior to that with the same person for over a year and a half, and we always wore protection. There is no discharge or um, smell. Nothing unusual other than the pain I am getting. My doctor told me it could simply be changing hormones as my present partner and I do not always use protection. My town is very small and we do not have a family doctor, would really like some answers as the doctors at the hospital keep dismissing me as my symptoms keep going away.

So I am currently having an issue where I feel a sharp, shooting pain in my penis when i urinate...The weird thing is that I only get this maybe once or twice a day and not every time I urinate...It's not itchy, burning etc etc...Just have the sharp, shooting pain. Anyone got any idea what this could be?

I've had hemorrhoids for over 10 years now, though they rarely cause me any bother. Most of the time, I'm affected by the piles that you can feel on the surface of your derriere (the 'bag' type that you often have to push back in). However, rarely, I also seem to get the 'golf-ball' sensation hemorrhoids (I'm not sure if they are technically the same type) whereby you feel like you have a small ball lodged up your butt, that can occasionally be painful too. It's this type I'm actually suffering from at the moment, but my main problem is that it's been affecting how I pee for well over a week now.
When I urinate I find I can't push all the way (I believe because of the hemorrhoids), and so I'm unable to fully empty my bladder when I go to the toilet. This gives me the sensation of wanting to urinate a lot more, sometimes constantly. I've had this before, so I imagine it's a symptom of piles, though it's never happened to me for so long. Has anyone shared this experience? I've found very little mention of hemorrhoids affecting urination on the Internet

I've started to get really thirsty, and I drink a lot of water everyday. I have to go to the toilet about every 10 minutes, and the pee is clear. Maybe I should drink less, but I get really thirsty so I can't. I'm really tired to, but I don't know if has to do with it.

The doctor prescribed me Trimethoprim 300 Mg for 7 days. I am having it since last 3 days now but nothing has improved.
The dipstick test showed blood in my urine...though I have been having some other health issues as well...but this medicine was prescribed when the urine sample had blood.
I am worried that I might be having the wrong medicine, as nothing is improving.
I need to understand, how long should I wait for the improvement signs. I am worried. I feel dizzy after this medicine, and my health is getting worse.

I've had two bladder neck stricture surgeries at two month intervals after open RP and recently a urethral stricture.
Uro recommends daily dilation for a year using a Cook Medical dilation balloon catheter.
Recently had blood/clots in the urine which cleared after up after 3 hours but now I have a lot more irritation getting the catheter past the urethra stricture.
Uro says any further Urethrostomy would be serious as he has already cut close to the sphincter ...does this also rule out Urethroplasty?
Has anyone found that daily dilation works long term or does the stricture eventually close in.
I noticed that after waiting 3 days for a new catheter to arrive it was then very difficult to insert it. ...as opposed to daily dilation.

I Had a repair to mucosal part of rectum a week ago.. i am quite a lot of pain at the moment every time I try to wee the rectum comes down and a keep popping small stools which cause lots of pain I now cannot empty bladder properly and have a uti i seem to I In more pain not less. I have just gone on all fours on floor to try and wee and poo was there for 30 mins with pain from rectum and bladder. I eventually passed wee and poo....now still in pain at 3.40 am. So fed up ..don't know what to do with myself. Thinking of going on a liquid only diet to take strain.

i just had my son on Thursday(October 9th) and I got an epidural so they inserted a catheter.. Okay so my question is how long does it usually take for the pain to go away while I pee? It burns sooooo bad! It's not my stitches and I've tried the squirt bottle with warm water, I've been using witch hazel, and I've been using some burn spray they gave me.. But I'm soooo scared to urinate because it hurts soooo bad!

I'm a Vietnamese 44 years-old man. From 03 weeks ago, I have a serious pain at right knee when feeling to urinate. I try my best to urinate a little, then the pain shall be shortened. It ends when I complete urination. I already have necessary tests for urination & kidney, all are OK. The doctors also have no idea about this. They are laughing when listening to my explanations

I am experience pain when I urinate, it only happens from the moment urinate to the moment I stop, i don't draw blanks or nothing when ejaculating so I'm hoping its not an STI or STD, is it something else like due to Oort urinating a lot or anything?

I've had a burning pain in my Urinary tract for a couple of weeks, It's not a pain during urinating (in face that is quite soothing ) the stinging / burning pain starts a couple of minutes AFTER and lasts anything between 15 mins and until my next pee. The doctor put me on a course of 14 Trimethoprim 200 mg for 7 days, that is now finished with absolutely no improvement! It's not an STD as i've been totally celibate for over a year, the pain is stopping me sleeping, Oh yes I have an occasional non painful tingling sensation in my balls which started around the same time.

My Mother suffers from Lichen Planus, which I know is not exactly the same as Lichen Sclerosus. She has recently found urinating really painful. She has today found a convenient way to make things a bit easier. She fills a sports drinks bottle with warm water, and squirts this against herself when she urinates. It is soothing and also cleanses the area each time. hope this may help some people?

I'm a male 25 years old and for the past year and a half I've been having this severe pain when urinating mostly when I have a somewhat full bladder. It happens about 5 times a month. When I go to urinate As I'm emptying my bladder i get a severe onset sharp pain, cramp like? that makes me hunch over and I cannot stand straight nor lay down if I even try to straighten my body out it feels as if my organs in my lower abdomen are being ripped apart and all I can do is curl up in a ball and wait for it to go away the pain lasts anywhere from 2-8 hours please help me I've gone to several doctors and they think I'm crazy. I can't even go to work when it happens because the pain is so bad I feel like I'm going to pass out. I do not have any urinary frequency I feel as if everything is functioning as it should except for when this pain randomly comes.
