I've had this itchiness in my genitals specially on my anus. My vagina feels sore and hurts a little bit. But it's really itchy that I have to scratch it and makes it irritated. I have put some creams. But I don't have any blisters or bumps . Is it an outbreak ? I had sex last time with lubrication and condom. Should I stop having sex, because this could be an outbreak. I haven't take any medicine
View 9 RepliesAbout a month ago, I got a few tiny bumps, or what appeared to be small blisters, on the top of my vagina. They slightly itched when irritated by my clothing, but if I touched them, rubbed them, or slightly itched them, it would kind of start to burn. I popped them in hopes of relieving some of the pain and irritation, which did seem to help. When I started googling what it could possibly be, everything lead the "Herpes." I am sexually active, but I am married and have been for two years now. My husband and I split up at the end of last year for about two months where we had both been with other people, me with one, him with two. So, seeing that these blisters automatically make people think herpes has me severely worried. I went to my doctor and they had already scabbed over by then, so she said she couldn't be completely sure, and to come back if they appeared again. Well, I noticed them again yesterday afternoon. It's a small cluster of about 5 of them. I left them alone until I went to bed (because I was very busy yesterday), but they started itching and bothering me in my sleep. I woke up and went to the restroom, where I popped them. It relieved some of the irritation, but they began to itch. I didn't mess with them, or even itch them. I just went back to sleep. Today I'm worried all over again about what this could possibly be. I set up an appointment with my doctor for later this afternoon, but I was hoping to possibly get some answers before then.
I do shave, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. My husband and I were tested by our doctors for STD's after we got back together and everything came back negative, except for Chlamydia, which we got treated for. So, I'm really hoping it's not herpes.
I have painful blister-like sores around my vagina on a couple on my vaginal lips and I'm wondering a. how I can ease the pain/get rid of them and b. what they are.
Just to give a background on the last few weeks: I got a particularly back strain of tonsillitis a few weeks ago and was put on very strong antibiotics to clear it. After this I had a slight itch and touch of thrush which cleared up after taking a dose of probiotics. A week after the itch I shaved all my pubic hair, I stupidly didn't trim the hair before I did that. I had sex with my boyfriend after this, he's the only person I've been having sex with for 6 months and vice versa. I have experienced pain after having sex with him and some skin tears due to his and my size (he's quite large and I'm apparently smaller than average). I then got my period this week and started to feel irritation which was mild at first like usual grow-back irritation after shaving and then it progressed to quite irritant and painful - I'm assuming the pads I was using didn't help matters. To ease the irritation I was using an antiseptic cream which would typically be used for nappy rash.
When my period was done I examined myself and felt small bumps, first they were under the skin and are now over the skin and blister-like and some have popped and seeped. My vaginal lips are quite dry and there are a couple of pimple-like bumps on them which are quite painful. I soaked in a warm bath last night with a couple of drops of tea-tree oil, some baking soda and some E45 dermatological emollient bath oil and this seemed to help. When I woke up this morning the pain had eased slightly but the sores which had popped were crusted over with a yellow pus. I cleared this and the pus has not returned, but they are still painful. The pain seems to mostly be coming from the hairs that are growing back in the area irritating the sores. I have been using E45 dermatological (and alternately Savlon antiseptic) cream to ease the itching and give me some relief.
Basically, I'm looking for suggestions on how to ease this pain and clear the sores up. If anyone has had a similar issue and knows exactly what this is help would be greatly appreciated. From examining myself and researching STIs/STDs online it does not resemble anything I've seen but if anyone has a suggestion they are more than welcome!
so I've had an ongoing stomach problem caused by a bug for a few months earlier in the year which now with the right treatment seems to be going/gone.
however the tablets I take have caused me to be severely constipated.
i'm 26, have never suffered with constipation, or piles for that matter but for the last 6 months - 1 year I have had an itchy bottom.
basically when I went to the toilet 3 days ago I was pushing too hard to pass a stool. Afterwards when I wiped I noticed some bright red blood in the tissue.
i went to see my doctor yesterday who said it's probably piles, hasn't given me anything for it except some high fibre drinks to help with the constipation.
i'm worried now that with the previous stomach problems it's something to do with that. My dr never examined me. But Surely I would have pain if a pile had popped and I don't have my, there's also nothing around my anus so I'm presuming they must be inside
i've been to the toilet this morning and there's still some blood when I wipe, how long does this last?.
I haven't had a period in nearly 3 years so am obviously well into the menopause. For the past few months I have been coming out in itchy spots that are gradually spreading over my body. Some are like blisters, some are small bumps and some are in red patches. All are itchy and driving me crackers and are really bad at night when I get hotter. My doctor is very non-committal and says it's allergy or stress or an infection. I have the suspicion it's those old hormones running riot. Has anyone else got this problem? it may not relieve the symptoms but it will hope to know that it's another menopause "thing" to deal with.

Hardly ever wear protection, a few weeks ago i noticed a couple bumps on my inner thigh. At first i thought it was a bug bite or 2 so i wasn't to worried. It was very itchy, but again nothing that worried me. throughout the next few weeks, it seemed to spread. They aren't leaking any types of fluid, but are uncontrolablly itchy. It got to a point where i would itch it for so long, and so hard that i would make my legs bleed. I have been losing a lot of sleep over it. About 2 weeks ago, after taking a shower i examined my legs and on my scrotum found these pink lumps that didn't have any pus or any discharge, but when i scratched my legs i caught myself scratching my scrotum too. there are a few bumps on my scrotum a few on each side and underneath. They kinda feel like they have something inside of them but when i squeeze them nothing comes out. I've been clean never had an std. About 1 week ago i noticed a small bump on the shaft of my penis too. I'm not sure if its spreading to my penis or if it is an std. i started getting worried and went to see the doc. he examined it and told me that there is nothing i need to worry about. that its some form of ingrown hair. all i had to do is add some lotion to it and it should clear up. Since then i've noticed a couple more bumps on the shaft of my penis. I'm really worried that i might have caught something. also from then to now, the itching has gotten so much worse. i scratch and scratch. i know im not supposed to but its uncontrolable. I try putting powder, i've been using Ice to numb my thighs but its not helping. Anyone have any suggestions. And if anyone is going thru the same thing and knows what it is please feel free to help me out. I'm thinking about going in and getting it looked at again. There really isn't any pain until i itch for so long that it tears away the skin. please if anyone knows anything leave me a message.

I was concerned so I grabbed a mirror and had a look and i could see about 3 tears and redness. I just dealt with it for about 2 days when it got more painful with extreme itching and burning sensation when urinating, so i took another look and there was maybe 3 blisters i could see and it stung to touch them. today there is maybe like 5 or so and they are yellow on top and hard to the touch. i have clear/milky white odourless discharge. im convinced its either a yeast infection or herpes. oh and ill add that about 3 days before i had sex I washed myself with vagisil for the first time & it felt like i had a chemical burn down there., but if anyone has anything to help or that would be amazing please!

5-7 days later i was feeling tenderness and a little tingling burning pain, but thought it was my period, which was unusually heavy as i`m on birth control.
MONDAY sept 9 i knew something was wrong. the tingling got worse and i went to some doctor i knew for blood test and he also gave me DOXYCYCLINE (he s not a gynecologist) i also asked for ACYCLOVIR in case have herpes. i started taking them at 4pm
TUESDAY morning i threw up with yellow stuff and had a lot of green/yellow/brown watery then cottage cheese discharge, which became yellow watery and by the end of the day pink. pain got worse
WEDNESDAY morning i went to free clinic, where they told me most likely it CHLAMYDIA or GONORREA, told me to continue doxy and gave me shot for gonorrea
THURSDAY i noticed the discharge got water and thicker, pain was still there. in the afternoon after a long flight and traveling i noticed red single BUMPS on my skin in my bikini area, between ******* and vagina and above the clitoris, some of the hurt, some itch, not considerably. 7 in total, plus one on the labia, just not sure if that`s a bump. the next day 2 of them had water inside. i immediately texted my friend i knew he has herpes and he said it looked like it 99% and we now can be in relationship ha! i wasn't sleeping all night, googling and googling, pain seemed to increase and the bumps itched a little bit.
FRIDAY i went to my gynecologist and he said it`s not herpes(the culture text will be ready in 10 days), not even STD, but YEAST. He said you are not supposed to be treated without knowing the reason and doxycycline is old and not supposed to be taken for a week but for 2 days. also the std test will show only in 2 weeks after the exposure.
stopped taking meds and taking xre of my yeast now, hoping for the best. and i got my lesson!!
I have been suffering from painful pus filled blisters around my vagina for last 3 years! It is like a cycle, the skin gets hard, a small blister appears, it turns bigger, swollen, red, itchy and after 5 or so days, it would burst and slowly, the pus and blood would drain causing me enough discomfort to lie down (i cant even sit, forget about walking) for weeks at a time.
I have been tested for Herpes and been told several times its not that. I use Clotrimazole regularly but it does nothing much.
Last week I had this blister develop right on the left vulva and it became big enough to look like a cyst, extremely painful...No amount of pain killers was helping and my GP advised it is vulval abscess and needs to be drained by a GYN. I went to the hospital and the next morning the freak doctor cut me open without any general or local anesthesia at all!I died with pain!!!
I am home now and the pus it still leaking, the wound has not dried yet completely.
The doctors said it is not bartholin cyst, but I don't know what the hell it was and why does it keep recurring...
I have been taking oxytetracycline for almost 3 years now, took fluconazole for 1 year and I am also on thyroxine since last 5 yrs...
If anyone has any idea about what this is and why this might be happening, please let me know.

They do not hurt or itch. I am worried they are warts. I applied vinegar to them on 3 different occasions but they never turned white. It has been a week since I noticed them and they have not changed. Could these be genital warts or something else?

View 3 RepliesI'm 28 weeks pregnant and just got hemorrhoids earlier this week as of about three days ago though i noticed some very painful blisters that have lined up along my vagina done research it doesn't look like any of the herpes outbreaks i've come across. all they do is hurt no itch no burning. i was told two days ago i had a severe bladder infection due to microbial parasite. im currently taking antibiotics and using witch hazel wipes. doc said these bumps are nothing to worry about. i disagree with how painful they are. thoughts please?

I noticed the day after we had sex that I had blisters around my outer labia and I'm assuming a rash? The blisters and rash are not painful though. Then I noticed a lot of white vaginal discharge (assuming a yeast infection, but treating now with Monistat ) and a bad odor the day after. The odor went away 2 days later and now it's back to normal. I've been freaking out lately because it's scaring me. We had unprotected sex for only a few minutes and then he put on a condom. The condom was latex and I just immediately assumed that I had a latex allergy, but then I did further research and now I am just unsure. If we are both virgins, what could it be?

View 18 RepliesI discovered these irritating bumps around my anus area that soon developed into tender ulcers.. so I went to the doctor to have them examined and she told me she couldn't really tell if it was herpes being the fact the bumps were scattered and they are each at the base of a hair follicle... so she swabbed them and sent them off for a lab test and I'm currently waiting for my results by the end of this week... I've never experienced anything like this before and the only symptoms I have is itching and I do believe I can feel my lymph nodes in my groin are swollen... has anyone else ever experienced anything like this and what does it sound like to you?

I know it was cause I looked down there with a mirror, and it was looking like a yeast infection. It seemed to go away after I stopped eating alot of sugar, and breads, and pastas. But then it came back. I have been looking at my clit in a mirror in my bedroom to check my process, and I had noticed a rip and half my clit was enlarged/irritated. The rip and the irritation kinda went away for a while, but then it started back up again a couple of days ago. I'm afraid to tell my mom, and I don't know why. But, is there anything I can do to help the symptoms go away.
P.S. since April 13th or so I started eating a lot of sugars again, could that cause the pain.
I have a sore and itch on the bum. Have tried Fobancort, Neosafe, Ecocort. Still no relief. Will Zaricort help?
View 1 RepliesI recently got married and you could not imagine the depression (especially after waiting for our wedding night) that loomed over me because I felt like....to be blunt... I had a gross vagina. I always made genital health a priority and it seemed the more I kept myself clean, the worse the problem got. At my breaking point, (keep in mind I am african american- thus brown skinned) the skin in the crease of my bikini line, the entire vulva, my perineum, and my butt crack were bright pink, raw, cracked, and bleeding. yet still itchy. I saw 3 gynecologists, 2 dermatologists, and 1 primary care physician. All of whom diagnosed me with lichen simplex and then lichen simplex chronicus. Imagine my relief (the first time!) I then started a laundry list of creams and ointments that just made it worse in some way or another. The list includes: Lidocaine solution, Desitin, Rx strength hydrocortisone, triamcinolone acetonide, Miconazole cream 2% and 200 mg capsules, Clobetasol Propionate ointment and the cream, Sarna lotion that was refrigerated (although scintillating when applied to the problem area, i wanted relief not pleasure), Triple Antibiotic ointment, estrace cream, clotrimazole Betamethasone cream, domeboro soaks, and lastly nystatin powder. Believe it or not, the best one out of all of these was the powder. I was just about to give up when I broke down to a very close friend who happens to be a primary care physician (He is 31 years old, for those who care) while getting dressed up for my new bridegroom I told my friend about the problem and was looking for something to emotionally prepare me for the coming night. I wanted to tear down walls when he GLANCED at my problem area, shrugs his shoulders and says......"ok, so you have jock itch. It's not the end of the world."Yes ladies. It was JOCK ITCH! Unfortunately it was too late to save my honeymoon. However I went to Walmart, purchased Bacitracin and a few different jock itch treatments and started immediately. In two days the symptoms had relieved themselves and the only issue remaining was this feeling like I had cuts in my pubic hair area right at the hood of my clitoris. PAINFUL!!!! It just wouldn't go away. Finally, after babying it, I couldn't take it anymore. I had to get a closer look. Against better judgement I used an ELECTRIC razor (it left very short stubble which I wanted. Last thing I needed was to nick the skin or get razor bumps). Once completely bald, I hopped in the shower, washed the area well (it burned) washed with summer's eve vaginal shower wash (burned a little too), got out, dried off, and then applied straight bacitracin to the ENTIRE pubic area. I suggest if you are going to try this, right before you do it, take a deep breath and remind yourself of all the sleepless painful itchy nights. Why? Because it burned like I was exorcising the devil out of my clitoris! After about 5-10 second, it stops burning and I go to bed. Since then, I have used the Tinactin (jock itch spray on powder) from time to time. I am happy to say I have not touched an antifungal product in two weeks. All signs of the problem are gone. ALSO my skin is back to normal. If you are worried about scarring, it didn't happen to me.
I had sleepless nights and embarrassing days for TWO years fighting this damn LICHEN SIMPLEX (which just means dry skin FYI) when all I needed was some jock itch cream.
