Am I Pregnant? :: Period Was Lighter, But Heavier Than Just Spotting

I've been experiencing some symptoms of what might be pregnancy since the last time I had unprotected sex: fatigue (for the past couple of days I've slept for most of the day), nausea, weakness, forgetfulness, night sweats/hot flashes, mild cramping/discomfort in my abdominal area, moodiness, and sensitivity to smell.
But I had what I thought was my period last week. It came almost a week earlier than it was supposed to, and it wasn't like my normal period. It was lighter, but heavier than just spotting.
When I bled last week I figured it meant that I hadn't gotten pregnant. But then I read about breakthrough bleeding in pregnancy and I'm wondering if what I thought were unrelated events before are all from changes in hormones.
I'm thinking about taking a home pregnancy test. But if I were pregnant and I had breakthrough bleeding, if my hormones weren't high enough last week to stop my menstruation, would they be high enough to test positive now? Should I wait for a missed period?

I have a paragard iud for almost 2 years.My last period was january 25-30, 2016. I had pink spotting on February 17. I was expecting my period on the 25 but no period. Missed period and pink spotting again march 3rd. I feel bloated, get dizzy when getting up , i eat n few hours later feel hungry again and use bathroom more frequently. Could i be pregnant? Or what could it be ? Help

My last period was 12/12/2015. I have been using period tracker app since August to track my periods and ovulation. I ovulated on 12/26/2015. My fiance and I dtd on the day I was ovulating as well as a few other times. My period was due 1/9/2016 but I missed it. I am 3 days late. On the day my period was due when I went to the bathroom and wiped there was a tiny pink dot and a tiny brown dot and that was it. In the following two days there was nothing. At the end of day three of my missed period I had a little more spotting but not enough for a tampon and it wasn't enough to worry about staining my pants or underwear. Early morning of what would be the 4th day of my missed period I am period cramps. But when I went to the bathroom there was a couple of stains on my bed pants but no blood clots and it is pink not red. I took some Midol and the cramps are better now but I am so confused on what is going on. Anyone else experience this or can shed some light.

its been 3 years since we are trying to conceive.no luck so far.. however, this month i am experiencing a weird kinda period. my period started on 29th march 2 days spotting then Actual flow started and period ended on 07 april.(every month i spot for 1-2 days before actual flow)but it was lighter flow that what i normally have. now on april 12 i again started to have light spotting.. not sure what it is?? am i going to have another period this much sooner?

I'm 23 years old and started Nuvaring on August 25th. After talking about it with my OBGYN I've decided to start using it continuously (changing it every 3 weeks) and it was perfectly fine at first, but before the first month was over I noticed a bit of brownish spotting that got progressively heavier until it became actual red blood. I have light flow days and heavier flow days but it's never really a lot. It's really annoying though!
The spotting has been going on for FIVE weeks now, I've spoken to my doctor but the tranexamic acid he prescribed didn't help at all so he took me off it, and on top of it all I've been experiencing horrible cramps at night for two nights now.
My doctor says it's ok, it's only been two months, it's just my body getting used to it and if it's not gone by the end of November we need to talk about other BC options because this may mean the hormone levels I can reach with just Nuvaring aren't high enough for me, but he told me it's probably not the case because I'm very petite and I just have to be patient.

Last month, I had a very light period that only lasted two days. After that, I had bad cramps in my hips and pelvic area. They lasted for about two weeks or so. Yesterday, I finally got my period. But when I woke up today, I had leaked, and bled through my underwear and pants. This isn't really normal for me, I've never had a leak before. I'm guessing that my period is a lot heavier than it usually is.
I'm 14, and I know that my period isn't supposed to regulate for about 2 or 3 years, but is this something I should be concerned about? I could just be working myself up over nothing, but anything that isn't normal terrifies me.

First, My period began very light brown(looked like old blood) for 8 days. Used a panty liner for the whole day. These past two days it's becoming heavier. I have to use a pad. I am still on my period!!! My normal period last 5 days and I begin heavy and then light.

I had unprotected sex almost everyday starting about a week or 2 before I was to get my period. After I got my period ive had sex almost everyday but just started taking birth control today. Last night I noticed that I had a brownish period that wasn't normal to a regular period. I have normal periods. But its very very light and it is darker in color. So here is the story, I had sex a week before my period suppose to start. But before I had sex, I've been having lots of stress and been skipping meals sometimes not eating much in a day. So I decided to have sex to relieve the stress, and on the day I had sex, I had finally gotten a good healthy meal.
During sex, I had it a couple of times, twice with condom and thrice without but he pulled out before he ejected.
After a week, or actually a few days. I started feeling giddy. And started to eat a lot and get really hungry often. I'm having body aches and feeling tired.
Sometimes I get cramps coming and going.. Recently it was more cramp than the first few ones I had.
After a meal I feel slightly nauseous.

My period ended a week ago, and i've been spotting every day since then. My discharge alternates between a very light pink to a thick brown discharge. I'm not sexually active, so pregnancy is definitely out of the picture. I've never had anything like this happen to me before. I feel completely fine. No pain or anything. It seemed that my period was ending, and later that night I was with my boyfriend. We usually kiss and fool around. I'm a virgin so we don't usually do much. So I have a question about taking the pill half an hour late. Is it normal to get anywhere from spotting to your actual period a few days after taking the pill half an hour late?
I'm 20 and have been on the pill since 14. I've tried YAZ (the best by far but not covered by health care) and a few others, currently on the generic brand of Levlen Ed.
Only recently, say the last 1 - 2 years I have noticed that my body is working almost like clockwork when it comes to taking the pill. If I take it anywhere from even just 15min late (though typically occurs from half an hour late), I will undoubtedly get spotting or even my period a few days later.
I cannot find anyone on internet forums who experiences the same. A couple of hours maybe but not to this extent. Most women say they can take theirs hours apart with no effect.
My question is, is this normal and why has it only been the last few years? My body used to work just fine with the pill.

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend around a month back (a week after my periods). I had spotting a week after the sex. since then I have had vomiting sensations every now and then and fatigue and dizziness. My period cycle is usually 35 days. I've been trying for 5 months to get pregnant. I had my last period November 27th 2014 lasted 3 days(medium) then very light spotting for 4 days. Not I'm spotting again very light pink. Lots of milky white looking discharge, can I be pregnant? My next period isn't due till December 27th 2014.
