I am 20 years old and for the past week have had constant headaches, nausea and back pain. I have been feeling slight cramping like period pains but less severe and my breasts feel very sore, I had 1 alcoholic drink a couple of days ago and was sick straight after. My boyfriend and i had unprotected sex a week ago, could i be pregnant?
View 14 RepliesI keep track of my period using a tracker, and it hasn't failed me yet- I'm always right on time, but last month that changed. My husband has been overseas for a year and just got back last month, the day my period was due, but it ended up being 5 days late. I put that into my tracker and it updated my "schedule" for this month.. But again, I'm almost 4 days late. We only use the pull out method, so I'm worried I might be pregnant. I've been experiencing lower back pain, and mild cramping like I have when my period is coming.. Also, there's a white discharge but I haven't noticed any spotting or anything like that. I'm wondering if it's the stress of having my husband home again after so long, or could my hormones possibly be messing up due to having sex regularly after not having it for a year? I've taken 4 home pregnancy tests and they've all been negative. They were all "early detection" tests and I took 2 before my period was due, one the day it was due, and one after I was 2 days late. Clear negatives. I really don't want to be pregnant right now and was planning on getting on birth control after this period.
View 14 RepliesI got the depo injection for the first time about 3 weeks ago. my period should start really soon if not now. I haven't bled and my breast are sore( common period symptom for me) I hope It's the shot . I had unprotected sex ON the 7the day of having the shot. The doctor told me to wait a week because it wouldn't be effective immediately Cause the shot wasn't givin when I was on my period. But i think i was supposed to wait AFTER a week (so on the 8th day) i got carried away and had sex without a condom on the 7th day.We used the withdrawal method before he even got close But I'm still worried.

View 1 RepliesLast month my nipples were so sore. So sore to the point is wake up out of pain from sleeping on them and had to get off them. I got my period and the pain in my nipples stopped. I've had this happen before so thought nothing of it. Now the side of my boob is having an uncomfortable pain in it. Both boobs have been sore but more so my right one. The pain happens in the same spot and lasts a min or two coming and going. I don't think my boobs have changed in anyway. It looks like i have pours all over them. There are tiny pinhole sized indents on them and lumps big small and tiny and they don't feel attached but I'm pretty sure that's normal for me. I have next to no feeling in them which is also normal. I have not had my period yet this month. So would this be me getting it? Is this something worth worrying about?
View 1 RepliesI have had recurring breast infections since my son was born 25yrs ago. I had numerous surgeries. It keeps coming back. I tried everything under the sun. Hydrogen Peroxide, Alcohol, iodine, hot compresses, antibiotics. I have just discovered that soaking with Epsom salt completely healed me. It worked fast. I am continuing to do this twice a day to make sure it is completely gone. I am amazed. I was going to go for surgery again. I want other people to be helped. This is a miracle for me.

View 1 RepliesI don't know what's going on with me. I keep going to the doctor and all they say is that i'm suffering from a stomach bug, but it just doesn't seem to be that simple. My symptoms are;
Nausea, headache, fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite, diarrhea, weight loss and lower abdominal cramps, similar to menstrual cramps and I'm not on my period. Recently I've started experiencing shortness of breath as well. What could it possibly be?
Dlight pink thick discharge and after I went pee I had to wipe 3 times and all 3 times there was a lot of discharge I haven't had a period since May and it will be July in 3 days. I had 2 day bleeding. first day light cramping 2nd day no cramping just spotting I took a home test came back negative
View 1 RepliesI've been on the shot for 2 years . Im due for another one in a few days but I don't want to take it until im sure im not pregnant. Me and my boyfriend had sex 2 weeks ago and a week ago and the day after the last time I've been feeling pregnant. This would be my second child but with my first a test couldn't tell until I was almost out of my first trimester but i knew right away that I had to be. Now it's different because I don't have a period since im on the depo. I've been having back pain, thigh cramps, migraines, tired, dizziness, and my stomach has been cramping and feeling weird. What do you think?

What could this be? I don't have a fever or any type of sniffles, I've been kinda constipated lately and I haven't had my period for this month yet, I was suppose to get it the first week of 5his month.
Should I be concerned? I just saw my doctor today around 2 and wasn't feeling like this, except for the back pain.

View 13 RepliesI've been getting neck pain for some time and over the past 6 months or so it has become considerably worse. I get the usual pain at the back of the head, moving to the front. The change has been noticeable with nausea, dizziness and bed-ridden for usually 2 - 3 days at a time. Pain killers (over the shelf are not doing much for me) the sickness means that fluids and solids do not stay in for long and sleeping is out of the window.
Off tomorrow for a MRI scan hoping that this is going to shed some light on the problem and hopefully a diagnosis that makes sense.
I can't believe how crappy I feel already. Is that normal. I'm so tired but can't sleep ,my breasts are so sore, bad dreams...when will this end?
View 1 RepliesI have had the implanon for 2 1/2 years, the last two weeks I have had mucus discharge, sore breasts and I haven't had a period just spotting like it looks like I'm starting with small tiny clots then it just stops and it's an orange color. Could it have failed me? I have took in a home test and a urine test at the er, both were negative I'm i? And should I be concerned?
View 2 RepliesI'm taking clarithromycin for an H.Pylori infection. The course is 7 days and so far I've taken 4 days worth. I feel horribly sick for a couple of hours after I take them, then about 3 hours later in the night and then again 12 hours later when I'm supposed to take another dose.
For the first two days I had no nausea but lots of indigestion, cramping and (oddly) an extremely increased appetite. I've never known hunger like it! All that changed on day 3 and now I'm facing another 3 days of this nausea, not sleeping at night and hardly eating a thing. I also have a metallic taste in my mouth and my kidneys feel tender, although that could be backache from being in bed so long.
I have found ginger tea, pepto bismol, chewing gum and Andrew's salts sometimes take the edge off the sickness.
I have had an achy upper back pain for a few days now. I was attributing it to having slept funny, but now I am thinking it was a warning sign I missed. I woke up at 2am with horrible nausea and sharp pain in my upper left back. It comes in waves and was so severe it brought tears to my eyes. I have had kidney pain from infection in the past and while different I think this pain may be kidney related too. I am trying to find some way to get comfortable enough to sleep since it is the middle of the night and I don't want to wake two sleeping babies and drag them to the ER. I tried calling the nurse helpline provided by my insurance company, but he just told me to try a heating pad and some Tylenol.
I have a lot of prescription pain meds in my medicine cabinet because I have had 2 c sections and another surgery within the last couple years and I hate taking pain meds... I took an oxycodone. That along with a vibrating massage mat under my back seems to be helping with the pain for the moment, but the nausea is even worse now. Any suggestions for that? I just need to make it to morning so I can go to an urgent care clinic. There is no one to watch the babies right now and of course o would get sick on Sunday when my primary care doc is closed.
My tonsils have been swollen for over a month, until last week they were painless, but now I have flu symptoms. Its quite scary, it affects my swallowing and I have a very very dry mouth, even when I drink loads of water all day. Hasn't affected my breathing as of yet, but feels like a lump in my throat is blocking it off.
This has been going for three days now.
Doctor said I need a blood test for glandular fever, which is next week.
I mentioned that I think I can feel my epiglottis swollen, and she laughed and said that is all the way down by my adam's apple and would have a job feeling that... even though i've seen many cases online where it's visible above the tongue and often can be felt.
I'm 33 5/7 I have been having bad lower back pain and abdominal and it goes through my thighs which makes them feel sore I didn't do anything out of the normal today but when I try to stand I can't stand straight. Anyone know what it could be?
View 4 RepliesI have been out of work since oct 5th 2015 i had sinus surgrey done then had high blood pressure coming out of surgery kept up with the family doctor they refused to put me on bp medicine they sent me for an ultrasound to check the kidneys and they found out i have gallstones and then a week later i was in the ER with horrible stabbing pain in my back and right side loss of appetite and nausea and when i would eat i would take a couple of bites and then i would feel full right away they did another ultrasound and then they found out that i had a kidney stone i passed that kidney stone but still are having the stabbing sharp dull pain in my back and right side, loss of appetite, nausea, when hungry i take a couple of bites and then i feel full and sick, and i started getting chest pains and the pains hurt worse when i breathe and also am constipated. They just did a CT SCAN but haven't heard anything yet on it. Could it be my gallbladder or could it be something else?
