Am I Pregnant? :: Aunt Flow Still Hasn't Shown Up
Oct 30, 2014
My husband and I have been TTC for about 1 year. I was suppose to get my period on Sunday, it is now Thursday and Aunt Flo still hasn't shown up. I took a PG test yesterday and it was negative. Today I am experiencing an unusual amount of white, watery discharge. Also, last time my husband and I had sex (Sunday) he said, my discharge was thicker and creamier than normal. From what I've read, I think I might have an infection BUT I can't help to HOPE I might be PG.

On July 5th I had both my tubes removed because they were blocked/scared as a result of a ruptured appendix. I couldn't start the IVF proceed until they were removed. I am all healed after a month and I am still waiting for AF to come to start the IVF testing....What has the wait been for others after tubal surgery? It's hard and strange to wait for Aunt Flow!

So my periods are normally heavy (have to use an overnight pad during the day). Well this "period" I'm on now started like a week early and is super light. Or it was for the first three days. Now it's heavier, but still nowhere near my normal flow. My friend thinks it still might be implantation bleeding. Idk, I didn't have any with my first child. I'm freaking out and don't know.

I had unprotected sex 10 DAYS ago. I took ipill within an hour after sex. However, 2 days after, I started having black blood stains. And from the 4th day till today (7th day), I started to bleed with the flow is similar to the 3rd day of my usual period time. I had my period about 17 days ago. And it was a heavy flow compared to my usual flow. Could u kindly advice what does this mean and should i do anything ? And i believe it can't be possible for pregnancy.

I had unprotected sex the 23rd and got my period the 24th, 25th, and the 26th. I had a regular flow until the 26th, where my flow just stopped midday like a faucet. This has never happened to me before, my period has always decreased in flow until I've had just brown discharge. I've never gone from a regular flow to no flow just like that. I ovulated earlier in the month, the 9th. Could I have gotten pregnant?

Just a couple weeks ago I had a bump forming right next to my nostril and directly on my cheek. I've had it for over two weeks and just yesterday I had it checked by my doctor and she prescribed me a topical solution ( smells a lot like alcohol) called Clindamycin Phosphate. I've done everything she had mentioned to me as far as putting a warm compress on my face which I have done the past couple nights and later applying the solution. Well, just a while ago as I was searching for some advice, I twitched my nose then all of a sudden I felt a tingle on my face and was in a way relieved to see that the boil had popped! I washed my hands, took a q-tip and just dabbed all the puss and blood out. Not sure if I'm doing anything incorrectly since I can't seem to get all the puss out of it since the bump is still there. I waited it out a bit before washing my face for the rest of the blood to come out since it was still dripping a bit. I gently washed my face with aveeno and waited for it to dry as I later dabbed the solution on the boil which stung like bloody murder >;) ! I'm very worried that this bump will remain on my face as this is the very first time in my life to experience such a traumatizing experience. If there is any help, please I beg you, how do you treat a boil/pimple after it hasn't completely drained?? Should I just wait it out and continue to use my prescription? My doctor told me I didn't need a follow up for it, but I'm so worried I can't help it! Should I continue to apply a warm compress twice a day? What should I do?

My peak flow best is 400, and normally is around 300 plus or minus 10-20 points. Ever since I walked through a cloud of cigarette smoke yesterday, it's hovering in the low range, although not quite to the red zone. And of course, it tends to get worse at night, after office hours. Don't really want to keep hitting the rescue inhaler as much as I have. Do you think if I wait it out it will gradually get back to a normal range, or should I break down and seek medical attention tomorrow? Still trying to learn how to manage asthma and what my personal limits are. Thanks!

There's a condition where tears do not flow even when you feel like crying, isn't there? What is it called? Is there a cure for this? Aside for drops used for 'dry eyes' what else can help this situation? Tnx.

Anyone know of blood flow or cardiac problems which cause tinnitus? For nearly a year I have had constant ringing/hissing in both ears but occasionally get pulses and vibrations in my left ear in sync with my heartbeat. I also have a constant painless throbbing in my forehead and back of head that is also in sync with my heartbeat.
I have had an MRI of brain/ears, blood tests, an examination by an ENT doctor and no problems were found. Blood pressure is also normal
I am 30 years and have no other health problems.

I precum when aroused. I am tired of precum. It makes me very insecure about receiving oral sex because I fear that a partner will reject me. I am a disease-free single man but 7 out of 10 times I do encounter someone that doesn't like it. I've read that one of the Flomax side effects is a decrease in semen. I am not going to have any children so I don't really care about semen. After 20 years of being sexually active, I want to finally enjoy oral sex without the worry of constant dripping. Will Flomax help my precum flow to stop?

Opinions please, from people diagnosed with a reduced CSF flow. And from those who have had surgery because of it. Or anyone who had advice.
I am 61 years old. My Chiari is only 1.5 mm. My last MRI said I have a mild reduction in CSF flow. No syrinx.
I am finding it increasingly more difficult to concentrate and wonder if the mild reduction in CSF flow could be the reason. Or, am I just getting old? I need to make a living, yet I have so much brain fatigue and overall not feeling well, that I am not succeeding.
I am not being productive and even though I need to care, I don't have the energy to. People, like my GP, try to convince me it can't be the Chiari (though I have not talked to him yet about the reduction in CSF flow). Maybe he will change his mind. But it is to the point that I doubt my judgement, wonder if it is mostly depression or just aging.
I am not begging my doctor for pain medication so he is concluding it can't be hydrocephalus. I understand that may be so, since that would have shown on the MRI too, but can the mild lack of CSF flow be causing problems anyway? If so, how?
I have learnt to put up with headaches and don't like meds stronger than Tylenol with codeine, which doesn't work. I do not want to end up dependent on more medications. Can't afford the ones I take!
Sometimes I have the headaches and neck pain for weeks. But even when that goes away I feel in a fog, and get double vision. It is both too hard to take in information and too hard to see. I only read on the computer or iPad now. Reading print is too frustrating to be a pleasure.
I hear words but my brain is usually too slow to process it. It's scary. I keep rewinding the TV and asking people to repeat themselves. This is life changing because I don't like to socialize anymore. It's embarrassing!
Throughout my life I have had periods where I feel in a fog and periods where my head feels relatively clear. I went through times of relatively good health, but never knew what kind of a day it will be. I failed grade nine because I couldn't concentrate but later got a university degree.
So I think I am intelligent, but am afraid that with a lifetime of blocked CSF flow there is brain damage. I don't have a bad gait, urinary problems or numbness consistent with hydrocephalus, thank goodness! But I just feel that my thoughts are too slow to function the way I need to, among other symptoms.
I haven't worked outside of the home for five years now, though I do need an income. Been trying to build a career in a field which I prefer not to mention, working from home. But it takes more energy and concentration than I have and I'm being left behind, as usual.
I would like to know if I am obsessing over this Chiari thing, blaming it for my problems when it might be depression and anxiety. Should I just forget about it and leave well enough alone? Or would surgery help me get my concentration and energy back?
