Was wandering if anyone has ever had a problem with their mouth due to having pets. I have had this problem since I was 12 and always had a dog on the house.

Allergies :: Swollen Eyes With Upper And Lower Lips Swollen
My son has had swollen eyes on and off but usually only one eye but is has happened in the other. I was told it's not pink eye probably allergies.
This morning he woke up with half of his lip upper and lower really swollen, no bites, not dark, just swollen.
When this happens whichever area is tender not itchy (except his eye but not all the time).
Allergies :: Burning Body And Swollen Lips
I was wondering if someone could help! About a month ago I was at home alone. My mouth started to burn really bad I wanted to rip my teeth out it was burning that much, my lips swelled and the burning slowly travelled down my body! It was under my arms my bust then travelled to my stomach and down to the back of my knees. I then went all funny and felt like I was going to collapse, and felt really sick. This lasted about 40 mins I also had a red rash that went away after the 40 mins that looked like bites. I went to my GP but he just looked at me like I was a hypochondriac and had gone mad! This has happened again tonight whilst at work. Has anyone else experienced anything like this before?

In the past few days my lips have swollen,burning,chapped, and a blister like look to them. I've recently made some changes in my diet like switching to almond milk, eating alot of blueberries, using monk fruit to sweeten my coffee instead of the artificial sweetners. Could any of these diet changes be causing my lips to be like this? It's very uncomfortable and looks horrible!!

I've had swollen glands in my neck, a swollen larynx, and hoarseness for the past few days. The outside of my throat is also sore to touch and gets red. The inside of my throat is fine and it doesn't hurt to swallow. No fever, nothing else. When it rains it gets worse. It sometimes goes away after the rain. In the past I had it and it stayed for over two years straight! The ENT could find no reason for it. Is this allergy-related? Has anyone else had this? If so is there anything that can be done? Nothing I do seems to help. I take 20mg reactine that is supposed to last 24 hours, avamys a corticosteroid nasal spray for allergies. I also take symbicort, ventolin, and singulair for asthma.

Has anyone ever had a swollen lymph node under jaw line in throat because of allergies? I changed shifts at work and went to days about 3 months ago. Ever since the allergies have been brutal but I deal with it. I take occasional allergy meds. About the time I noticed a swollen lymph node on the left side of my throat . I also have occasional deep ear pain on same side. I went to my family doc and he didn't seemed worried. He gave me 500mg of amoxicillin and I took x3 a day. Well I took all the 30 pill dose and it's still swollen. It's sometimes sore but only when I mess with it. I'm 38 years old, healthy and do not feel sick. Should I worry about something major? Oh, I go to ENT in about a month to get a second opinion.

I'm 19, 2/3 months ago I was diagnosed with a Yeast Infec. so the doctor prescribed me a pill and it cleared up but around the end of January I had unprotected sex with someone and couple weeks after that I've been experiencing vaginal itching, my clitoris is swollen, my lips are swollen and my vagina opening. Also my vagina opening was white. I told my mom and she told me it's just another yeast infection & gave me Monistat I took it around February 4 and it did help with alittle my itching and my vagina opening wasn't as white as it was but my other symptoms are still present. I did start my period today and will go to doctor after I'm done but I just wanted some insight beforehand if you guys think I might have an STD?

Ate pineapple yesterday morning, noticed it was a bit tangy. By noon yesterday, my mouth was on fire, lips and mouth flesh swollen, bottom lip almost droopy. It's not better now, how long should it take to return to normal, if it is caused by pineapple? Have sore throat too, with some blistering on throat.

I had unprotected sex for like a week straight 3-4 times ,a day good intense session each time, with a girl i know is clean(STD Wise). Well thats what i thought(showed me legit papers so that's legit). Anyway the day after the final day of having sex, i notice a few red dots(little) appear on my head and shaft, and my scrotum got swollen red and shiny, and now today the pee hole has gotten a little swollen too. It itches no more noticeably then ever only a little bit(not like i'm itching every 5 minutes), doesn't hurt when i pee or ejaculate, its just freaking me out. I am going to get tested tomorrow but was hoping for some faster advice.
The thing is i shaved all of my junk for the first time(usually just trim) and got what i think is an ingrown hair or pimple (looks like one) on my shaft too, i don't think it's herpes but who knows, i'm just trying to figure what else all this could be.

2 months ago i went to a csw and had protected sex. I never kissed her but i used a towel at her place after i took a bath which was already damp . After a week i had a blister on my lip which was very painful and didn't heal until 2 weeks i had a single lymph node under my jaw which was aching .i went to a doc and he gave me a cortisone cream .but my lip cant seem to heal it keeps burning and if i stop using medicine its surface gets badly damaged .its been 2 month now and some new lymph nodes on my neck have arrived which ache a bit .im worried what shud i do .does this sound like a herpes outbreak ?

My lips, and the area around my lips have been really dry. Here are some of the problems with it:
Small dots appear below, and above my lips
White spots appear around lips
The lips, and the area around it are really dry, and sometimes red
Whenever I take a shower, after the shower, my lips are dry.
It's been happening for a long time now. My doctor said I have to drink more water, and I've been drinking 4 water bottles a day for the longest time.
I've tried chapstick, Neosporin, vaseline, and burt's bee.

I started these three weeks ago. Within three days I had the most horrendous dry mouth, sore lips and had trouble swallowing. I also got a vile taste in my mouth. Stopped them and within a few days that got better. Started them again two days and ago and the horrid symptoms have all come back again. Anyone else had problems like this with it?

I have asthma, we own a cat which we keep downstairs and don't allow it in the bathroom and any bedrooms and for 5+ years I've been having gew build ups in my eyes with some residue on and around the eyes, especially when waking it's a nuisance and at night time my eyes feel very dry and can feel much residue on my eye lashes. I also suffer with a blocked nose especially when waking.
I also suffered with a bad case of eczema this summer, having extreme flare ups on my cheeks (just below my eyes), neck (closer to under the chin), chest and the back of my knees, I also get urticaria especially just below my eyes.
suffering so badly I went for a rast/immunoglobulin test for eggs, milk, wheat and cat and finally received the results. my total ku/l level was over 1,000 and deemed abnormally high. eggs, milk and wheat were all within the 0.01 - 0.1 range with no additional comments. cat was over 100 and deemed very high and higher than the limit
would this be lead to believe cats are the main cause to my allergies and judging by such high readings I would need to avoid cats to get the best clear up of my allergies? we are currently using hypo-allergenic wipes for the cat but too early to see any results
I want dust mites and dogs tested too so I might go for further testing but as of right now it would seem the cat is the number one cause to my high symptoms, would anyone recommend completely avoiding cats with such high results or could there be work arounds? I high feel I will be wanting to move into a cat free home soon which I hope will help a lot
Allergies :: Hives Or Scabies?
Ok so I've been trying to get rid of my hives for a little over a week now. This is the first time I've had them. I've gone to the doctor twice and the ER once for them. The doctor gave me 2 steroid shots and gave me some scripts. I'm using Triamcinolone Acetonide cream, I'm on day 4/6 MethylPREDNISolone pills, and I'm taking Hydroxyzine pills 4x daily. The ER suggested that it may be scabies and prescribed me the cream which I've already used and am through with. The ER also gave me a shot of meds that was suppose to kill the scabies if there were any and gave me a shot of benadryl. The ER wasn't sure if I actually had scabies or not but went ahead and treated me for them just in case. I live in my apartment with my boyfriend and he has been untouched. I've washed everything washable in hot water twice now and I've been staying at my grandmother's house until I can get rid of them. But they're still popping up. I haven't changed anything in my diet. I do own 3 cats but have never had problems with them. They are indoor cats and I haven't seen them in 4 days. I haven't changed anything in my daily routine. I'm just completely out of ideas for why/how I've gotten them and why I can't get rid of them. I have another prednisone treatment waiting at the pharmacy for me prescribed by the ER but haven't picked it up yet because I'm still taking the Methyl. I have been to an allergist but all the tests came back negative.

I am an Australian who has been travelling to USA annually for the last 6 years.
Every time I visit the USA, after approx 4 or 5 days I break out in itchy, red bumps (hives?) all over my torso and upper arms. The outbreak lasts as long as I stay in the USA, and subsides almost completely within 24-48hrs after returning to Australia.
I have stayed at different hotels each time, so I don't think bedding can be blamed, and there is not a particular food I believe triggers this...
What could it be in USA that I am so allergic to, that does not exist in Australia. I travel the world extensively for work and have not experienced the rash in any other region either.
Antihistamines (Benadryl) does not seem to help at all.
Is there some food additives/preservatives that are unique to USA that I may be sensitive to?

I have to force much effort to speak sometime because extra spit in my mouth like allergy and my word are out of order and missing.

I have had Eczema since I was 2 now 35 ! I have been able to keep control of my flares but since having my daughter five months ago it has flared up quite Bradley in my face mainly my lips . For 8 weeks now they have been burning , incredible sore and itchy . Twice they have completely peeled . Doctor has said there's nothing she can do and suggested Vaseline !!
