View 1 RepliesFirstly I don't really smoke that much weed only the occasional joint with mates, but yesterday, some gave me a joint, so I had it to myself last night whilst watching some TV, I guess I smoked it all in quick succession (btw it wasn't a joint, it was a bit smaller, but bigger than the average cigarette size) anyways, I felt good after it, got good and funny sensations, like my limbs weight a lot, not being able to move because I was so comfortable, but then it went downhill, all of a sudden I felt my heartbeating, I tried to ignore it, but I guess once you think of something like that, its always in the back of your mind, I felt my heartbeat go crazy, and then I got horrible sensation in my heart area, like it was filling up, felt cold right in my heart then it felt like I was having a heart attack, as in pulsating and shooting pains, I was riving in pain on my couch, I genuinely thought "this is it, I'm going to die" it was the worst thing I've ever felt, after maybe 10 minutes of this unbearable pain, it went away, I thought it was over, I said ok, I better go lie down, big Mistake.
I walked/stumbled from my TV room to my bedroom, I was blind, it was like a headrush, but I literally couldn't see anything it was like being blind, but all I could see was like bright light, it was horrible, I lay down in bed, thinking I was dieing, I was like, I'm going to be like this forever, dizzy and my heart beating irregularly, I'm not going to get out of this, then I thought I was going to be sent to the looney bin, as no one would believe me, I lay down in bed, other strange things happened, I can't really remember then.
But then, the heart pains came back, just as long and as bad as the first time, I thought, I was actually dieing, couldn't get up to call a loved one, as was in too much pain, eventually it subsided, then I heard things like doors slamming, cars and vans driving past my windows, doors being knocked on etc, all at one, getting really really, deafeningly loud, it was weird I knew it was all the noises ever heard in the flat just played at the same time if you get me? I heard other noises as well, but can't remember them.
Then I tried to get to sleep, but the whole time, I was thinking this was a game, my mind was playing with itself, I thought someone maybe dipped the weed in LSD or something (but I don't think so now, as I didn't hallucinate, and its not economically viable for any dealer to dip their stuff in LSD) so anyways, I was thinking it was a game, I also thought if I went to sleep I would go into a coma and die, I was fighting for my life as such, it was so real and surreal at the same time, it truly was the worst experience of my life.
Throughout the course of my "trip" I had the heart pains, and weird noises thing again, and then eventually it wears off, still felt weird, paranoid and horrible, I sat up in my bed, to get some air or something, and said, OK I will watch some stuff on my laptop, I did, then my buzzer rang, I kinda freaked out, I thought it was my landlord, so I was like ohh c**p, but answered it anyways, it was my flatmate who was returning from a holiday, it was such a relief to see him, we went back into the sitting room chatted a bit more, then I went back to my bed to watch stuff on my laptop. I started getting better from there, I had a headache though, I watched a couple more hours of stuff on my laptop til my other flatmate came home, we had a beer (which calmed me down a bit) and watched TV, and went to bed.
I woke up this morning with a blinding headache, still here, I think my heart's still beating fast, but I dunno, I could be still a bit paranoid, but it was definitely beating a million miles an hour the whole of yesterday.
Should I see a dr? - I've had a new outlook on life since this happening to me, I want to do more things with my family (we live in diff countries) and just love my gf and friends more, you know? - I want to start eating healthily as well...
What should I do, can anyone advise?
TL;DR version:
smoked a doob, got high, got paranoid ( i guess ) thought I was having a heart attack, worst thing ive ever experienced, what should I do?
does testosterone booster from muscletech cause heart attacks, i see the class action lawsuit on tv, about this and wondered if i should keep taking it, the articles i found said it could reduce the chance of heart failure, well I'm 45 and just started taking it a couple of month ago and i can tell i'm stronger in the gym, i take a multivitamin which has all the vitamins that help raise testosterone, this this product T-booster is sold in wal-mart, or do you know of a better safer product.
View 1 RepliesMy mother she is illeterate, she got rashes on cheeks place long back(10 Years back) doctor suggested to use Clobetasol Propionate and Neomycin Sulphate creame for one month but my mother continued the cream for 10 Years, since last year she stopped to use the cream becuase of doctor suggestion. She is having complications in step wise

I did vitamin tests for D/B12 she has less D vitamin earler she covered later.
At last i am started diagnosing in skin side.
Can anyone help me understand these test results? I had a blood test that read my testosterone was 35 NG/ML (17-76 ref range) free testosterone is 0.2 NG/DL (0.3-1.5 ref range). I then had a saliva test done and my results were Testosterone 1,852 pmol/L (34-148 ref range). I am so confused. Do I have HIGH or LOW testosterone?
View 1 RepliesI have a heart rate most of the time from 42 to 50 BPM , my blood pressure is usually 145 to 160 over 75 to 80. My cardiologist has me taking 75 mg, of Lopressor, 360 mg, of verapamil, .4 mg nitroglycerin patch. And now he wants to add 10 mg of Ramipril ( Altace ) a day, my recent cardiograms have have shown sinus bradycardia. That's before starting the Ramipril , I'm just very leary about starting the Ramipril in first of all the highest dose there is, and second of all it could further lower my heart rate and send my heart into an AV Block that could lead to many things not good !
View 2 RepliesI'm going to be completely honest and as thorough as possible, I'm an addict, and I've had an addiction to stimulants for the last year and a half (consisting of about 95% amphetamine usage, never used methamphetamine). I usually keep my doses anywhere around 10-60mg cause I never wanted to over do it. Unfortunately, last week I dove in deep to my addiction due to a recent break up, about 4 days ago I did around 130 mg spread out through the day, I felt fine until I took my very last dose (30 mg about), at that point it only increased negative side effects.
After a while of feeling odd and stuff, I began to have trouble breathing and chest pains (I can't remember which started first), it kind of felt like they coincided, but I still would get very minor and infrequent pain without breathing, it felt like I couldn't take a full breath of air, and when I did the chest pain would kick in (more), it felt like a tightening pain. My left arm soon became somewhat numb and tingly, not numb like when you accidentally sleep on it, but just a little numbing that felt like it stretched down my arm through a single vein, the numbness was generally more intense under my armpit and bicep area, and would intensify when I rubbed certain areas. I had a very sore/stiff neck, especially around the area between my shoulder blades and neck, it wasn't on one side, it was mostly in the middle (my neck and back are still sore after this experience, as well as the tingling sensation in my arm but its not at all that bad, and it comes and goes). I had anxiety during this event, and I felt like when people would talk to me I wasn't truly comprehending what they would say, but yet I still was able to reply to them, I just didn't say much or think about what I was saying, I only could pay attention to what was happening to me. I felt like things were kind of slowed down and I was very fatigued and zoned out. I felt as if I was slowly meeting my demise. I believe I got cold sweats a couple times, but not much. I had some heart burn later that night, and the next but its gone.
It came across to me that maybe this was a panic attack but the pain lasted 2-3 hours, after that it wasn't horrible, but it was still somewhat there, and the mental aspect of a panic attack wasn't that intense. I also do think that my left arm may just have "mouse arm" (cant remember medical term), cause I use a computer a lot, a part of my muscle/tendon in my hand has been sore for a while, and it is somewhat acting up now as I type. I really am not sure if a lot of this is me overreacting, or just a placebo effect (I hope so). I've had minor chest pains since I was 13 (I just turned 18), and every time I went in to get my heart checked out, they said I was fine, and that I had a slight irregular heart beat but it was nothing to worry about and a lot of people have it but don't know.
I also have this weird problem with my thought process either that started the night of the incident, or I haven't noticed before. The only way I can explain it is as if my brain buffers for a moment when I go back and forth between two thoughts, it's like I over excite the neurons responsible for those thoughts and I end up overriding my brain for a brief second with confusion, then it's fine. I do have some chest pains now, but it isn't very often, and honestly happens mostly when I think about it or worry about it (same with the left arm), which is why I think I could be conning my self about this entire incident, because I've had panic attacks before but they weren't as bad and were more mental than physical.
It's dumb of me but I never went into the doctors cause 1. I was too paranoid to go in, and 2. I don't want to worry my mom or waste her money just so the doc's (possibly) find nothing. I haven't lately because all I've been doing is researching about this stuff, off and on I think I'm fine and then I don't. So I came here to settle it once and for all, I have a doctors appt. next week anyways so if you guys don't think its serious (I don't, but it could be denial) I'll just wait until then, if it is then I'll go now. I know everybody says "If its your heart then don't risk it", but every time I go in for my heart, it's always nothing.
My family nor myself have a history of heart disease, diabetes, or just flat out obesity. I'm very fit, just oddly muscular for my age, but I don't work out as often as I should now-a-days. I also smoke cigarettes, and my heart pains/arm numbness do come back a bit when I have a cig, but then again it could just be my head. The last time I had any form of a heart test was probably about a year or two ago, it was an EKG and I believe a blood test, but my memory is a bit foggy in that area. My heart rate is normal, I don't know about my blood pressure, but I believe I got a test for it lying somewhere around my house. My last dose of amphetamines was today, yes I know its stupid, but it's literally my last dose (I weaned myself off).
Oh and I did have sex last night, being in the moment I may have over did it (I usually get this feeling just without the numbing), my heart pounded like hell, I got heart burn during it, my left arm and leg became pretty numb, I was kind of tremor-ish, and that's it. Once I orgasmed the numbing went away (except for under my armpit area), and my heart was fine, but beating pretty fast (110bpm).
So do you think I likely had a heart attack? Or do you think it's something else? Or a combination of things? Or simply nothing but a placebo affect or panic attack? And by the way how long does numbing of the left-arm and chest pains last after having a heart attack?
Recently my heart has been trembling a lot and i find it hard to sleep because i can feel it beating. I used to feel pain in my heart on occasion before, but i have not had that recently. When I drink coffee the tremors are more noticeable and more frequent.
On my mother's side, she has history of high blood pressure and heart disease, her father died at 50 from a heart attack and my cousin (32 female) has a pacemaker.
Other symptoms include:
Redness under my eyes
Pitted and grooved nails
Personal profile:
25 y/o male
Smoker - 10 a day
I used to use cocaine infrequently for around 2 years (a heavy session once a month)
I don't drink alot maybe once a week
Has anyone experienced heart palpitations throughout the day and a fast heart beat that wakes you up in the morning. I'm going to the doc to make sure its nothing serious but i have suffered with panic attacks and hypochondria for years this is just new symptoms.

View 2 RepliesI'm a 32 year old female and about a year ago I started with what felt like skipped beats so I went to the doctor who listened to my heart and said it sounded ok so she sent me for a 24 hour heart monitor which showed my heart beating faster than it should at times and also in places there was extra beats which she said would of been what I felt as skipped beats, anyway she said they seemed to be benign but is sending me to a cardiologist to see if there are any mess to control it as it happens daily and just recently I've started to get a feeling a bit like my heart is vibrating but I only notice it when I'm sat down doing nothing. Does anyone else have this problem? I feel like I'm going made and it's taking over my life it's all I seem to think about now.

View 1 RepliesIs an enlarged heart classed as heart failure?
View 9 RepliesI'm now, 44 years old had my first heart attack at 30 years old. Doctor has no idea why. Lately I'm having the pains again. But seems to be a few days after I do big jobs. " I drill holes in steal with a drill, put the drill against my shoulder and push in to the wall." Never hurts until 2 to 4 days later, Also hurts in long drives from bouncing cars and trucks it bothers me too get me sleepy. When I was age 30 I ran a lot bounced as I ran or running. If this could be true what would be good questions to ask the card. What test to ask for. Is their a test for this? The card says Vanes should look like cheetos, but mine are smooth/no problems. They give me more meds. Then on my way. Would muscles in my chess also be permanently damage too? I know heart damage happens every time their is a attack. No more vibration near my chess. Been doing my job for 25 years. Does this sound to crazy? What other info you Docs need. Where could I find more info for this. I heard truck driver have the same thing bouncing in trucks all day.
View 1 RepliesI am a 38 year old male that has been experiencing some problems lately. I find myself fatigued from morning til night, around the clock. I have no motivation or energy to do ANYTHING. It's beginning to affect my work life as well as my sex life. I literally have no sex drive and I am engaged to the most wonderful woman. However I am so scared to lose her and feel as though she thinks I don't desire her.
I have had to sets of blood work done to see what's going on. Results came back showing my testosterone was low. A lot of the numbers and data I have no Idea what it means. However when he said the normal testosterone range for males was mid 300-s up to 1100 and mine came in at 241...I obviously am very concerned.
He sent me to an endocrinologist to have even more work done so that they could determine treatment. Needless to say, I'm nervous, exhausted and feel like I'm existing away.
I will admit, I didn't do my body good in my early 20's as I did take steroids to bulk up. It have me energy and I felt great. But did I ruin my body? It's also hard to say...because maybe I have low T back then and the steroids helped me feel better!? Idk. I would like to have energy again, a sex drive, and have kids with my beautiful fiance one day.
I am worried I have low testosterone levels. I am 16, and have a very high-pitched voice, hourglass figure, little body hair, little pubic hair, little underarm hair and very little muscle.
I am really worried, as this will affect me long-term and it is really embarrassing.
I know many people might say "maybe you're gay" but i don't think deep down i am.
My husband & I are so upset over his testosterone level and the way kaiser permanente is treating him! his t is 232. he is 46 years old. he is brain fogged, fatigued, erectile dysfunction ed. ect, kaiser told him his blood test for t is normal at 232. we were previously with bcbs and they told him he was extremely low. our personal research shows the range to be 300 to 1000 and that his level of 232 would equate to a man of the age 85 to 100. today he followed up with an endo through kaiser again. the doc said it was normal again. when he told the doctor that it was normal for a man that is 85 years old. the doctor said well, we don't go by age, and the normal range is 175 to 720. so my husband said to the doc that are you telling me that a 25 year old can have the same level as an 85 year old and you think that's okay?? so absurd. the doc said yes as long as it's in that range. oh my God, he is an idiot! the doc said we go by the lab. we called the lab and they said that they send the testosterone out to a kaiser lab called regional. is that legal. i know they just don't want to pay for it. what can we do?
View 4 RepliesI've recently taken a blood test and my testosterone levels seem pretty low (total 382 ng/dL, free 8.3pg/mL), DHEA levels are 505.7ug/dL.
I'm 28 and I've been having issues with sleep for most of my 20's and teens. I've also been experiencing some minimal gynecomastia (for several years) and general exhaustion. I don't come from a hairy family but have noticed, it can take several weeks before I need to shave.
My other blood and urine tests came back within normal ranges and I've been wondering....am I suffering from Low T?
I'm sat with family & friends in my local pub and I'm panicking! Nausea hot racing heart thoughts of a heart attack!
View 4 RepliesI am 24 years old. I was losing my weight , feel tired everytime. Fatigue in muscles every time. Lazy and very less concentration on things. Less erection of penis. Very less facial hair only weak mustache and chin hairs. Feel weak every time. Poor wound healing. Always depressed.
After noticing all these symptoms i searched on internet about the solution for these problems and found out that this can be due to low testosterone. I did my medical test and my serum testosterone level was 158 ng. Normal person in my age must have testo in between 260 and 1600 ng. I am very much conscious about my hormones.
I want to have some info and solutions to these. Can i go for a testosterone injections?
Guys: I have a question. If one's Testosterone is LOW. Dr says take Testosterone meds to improve Testosterone level.
once Testosterone level is higher, does that mean that erections will be better?
Also, how soon can someone notice any difference in erections?
