I don't know if to be conceded but EVERYONE around me has told me I am growing way to fast, I am only a month and a half, and you can see my belly popped out already. Should I be concerned?
View 9 RepliesI was told by the eye doctor this week that I have a rare fast growing cataract in both eyes. He told me that it can be caused by taking steroids, but I haven't taken them or breast cancer. Just interested in knowing if I should schedule an appointment for a mammogram right away. I did have a mammogram in 12-07 and they felt I should have a ultrasound to look closer at a spot. They thought it was probably just breast tissue after that and I haven't gone back. How important would it be to have the mammogram soon. Thank you, Jacqueline
View 1 RepliesMy uterine mass/ fibroid seems to keep growing and growing. Is there any medication I can ask my GP to prescribe me to stop it from growing or to shrink it ?
Do I need to see a Consultant Gynaecologist to discuss any kind of medication I could take to try to stop the growth of my uterine mass or to try to shrink it without any kind of surgical procedure in mind, at least for the time being ?
How many hours are you supposed to fast beforehand?

View 9 RepliesSo I'll be 27 weeks tomorrow. And I've been the same weight for 2 months now. At the beginning of my pregnancy I was gaining weight super fast now I just stopped. I don't know how much my baby weighs. My doc hasn't said anything. But I know alot of ppl thats due after me and their bellies are way bigger than mine. Should I be concerned?
View 4 RepliesHair and nails growing like crazy and I'm only 13+1 . I have a ways to go so imagine how long my hair will get. But in the contrary, I'm getting tons of hair every where else tho. It's so thick on my arms, under my arms pits, legs, stomach and my vagina. Whats causing me to grow hair every freaking where! Prenatals? ? Anybody else experiencing this? I've heard that some women lose hair or it sheds too.
View 4 RepliesI am 24 years old, 82kg and been stressing about my health for the past month.
I first experienced a very fast heart rate from a short 2 min jog up the road were i had to stop and wait for my heart rate to slow down.
now since then my stamina has gradually gone right down to the point were I am unable to go up two flights of stairs without my heart racing and feeling out of breath. bearing in mind at rest I only experience a tight chest no shortness of breath.
To rule out heart problems I recently had a Echo-cardiogram,ECG,holter test and a chest x-ray. I was told all my valves were fine, my arteries were not blocked and my ecg came back abnormal but it was not serious. (all these tests were done in the past 3 weeks)
Now as I had my consultation with an expert they noticed I was wheezing and I explained to her every single day my chest feels sore and tight. even now as i type laying on my bed. I was diagnosed with asthma when I was a child but I seemed to grow out of it, however back in 2006 I had similar feeling to what I have experiencing now which is tight chest pains, shortness of breath. but I cant remember my heart jumping really high from exertion of walking up the stairs.
so now I am going to visit my asthma clinic on thursday to see what they say,suggest etc.
So my question is could these symptoms of tight chest and short breath be linked to my fast heart rate?

View 6 RepliesWent to see my gp yesterday and told her about my heart beat readings I've been having recently of 115 just to walk downstairs, 124 to walk upstairs, 135 to walk downstairs on a bad day. My heart rate goes up from 74 to 105 when laying down to standing. She took my heart rate as a sat there and it was 98. She's now sending me for an ECG. She thinks it might be to do with the sack or lining around the heart? She told me the official names but I was silly and didn't get her to write it down. Now I can't remember what she called. She said she has seen cases before.
View 3 RepliesFor the last couple of months I have experienced a rapid thumping sound in might right ear, like a very fast heart beat. it only seems to happen at night and is driving me mad. some nights it wakes me up At 3 or 4 in the morning.
i have been to my GP and he is arranging for me to visit ENT specialist at my local hospital and a head scan.

View 1 Repliesi am 15 years old, and i have smoked weed about 8 times. but the last time i really got a bad trip. it felt like my heart was going to explode and like i couldn't breathe properly. after the effect stopped. i were fine. but some days later i felt that my heart was beating fast and hard. i went to the doctor, he said it was just fine but i still felt in in the same unpleasant way. sometimes i get this tickling feeling in my heart and i've lost my appetite. any ideas to what it could be?sorry 4 the bad english.

I've had a call today again from the GP surgery that my glucose blood fasting test was inconclusive and I will need to fast again in 6 weeks and have that done. What does it mean?
I'm a 38-year-old female. Severely hard and fast heart beats. Severe 24/7 head pain. All ruled out. I am planning to get off Zoloft, which my doctor had me at 300 MGS - I have been at 200 for a month or so.
View 2 RepliesI have some strange feelings and etc for around 6 months. I don't have any panic attacks or anxiety from long time ago, but something is wrong with me. For example in morning I stand up from bed and my heart rate goes to around 130 or when i climb up stairs ( around 20 of them) i get heart rate around 170 per min. That's not normal I know, but I have had heart ECG, heart ULTRASOUND,blood tests and etc and everything is fine. But on left side of chest I have pressure, feels like some organ is swollen or I don't know, maybe lung is pressed or something. I had also lungs x-ray but it came out fine. When heart is beating fast, i feel pain in my upper chest like in my airways, and when my heart calms down i have sore upper chest. 1 month ago i got maybe palpitations but not sure if it's palpitations, happens most when im standing. I get fast squeeze in left chest like my left lung is squeezed, but in this second my heart stops beating and then starts after 1sec beat fast and again slowly. I really dont know what to do, because im sure i dont have anxiety or panic. I was on xanax,citalopram,lexotanil for long time and nothing helped me for that. P.S My left leg is always cold,mostly when im laying down. Sometimes i get vibrating sound in my left chest and i don't know what is this. Mostly im scared if its my heart or what... Doctors said im okay, but i still feel not normal and without full access to live my life.. I had also brain scans,neck x ray and all is fine. All tests I had everything is normal. What do you think I should check? Please don't write about psychology problems, because its not this and im sure its not in my head.

View 3 RepliesFor as long as I can remember I have always had a fast heart rate, I can often feel my heart beating in my chest and it feels like I can hear it in my ears. I also have low blood pressure, although it isn't low enough to need medication. Often I feel light headed, I don't know how to explain the sensation but the closest I can describe it is that once I fainted and got a similar feeling just before, it is almost like a rush of blood to the head? Sometimes I get a pain in my chest that is sudden and like a stabbing pain, it happens in the centre of my chest, slightly to the left, where you assume your heart is i guess. When this happens I can only take very shallow breaths or I get more stabbing pains, this happens fairly infrequently which is why I haven't been to the doctors about it. Does anyone know what might be wrong with me?
View 6 RepliesI am a 19 yr old guy, currently 5'5 1/2" and around 125 lbs (my weight fluctuates about 125-130 these days). I hit puberty around 14, but I have been my current height for 4 years, have weighed between 110-140 in that time, and have not growing at all in height. I currently have a lean 28" waist, 35" hips, 35" chest, and 14" neck. I have a bit of armpit hair, thigh hair, navel hair, and leg hair, but it's somewhat sparse and not really thick yet. I also have the peach fuzz on my face, and it's starting to get darker on my jawline. My Adam's apple is also getting noticeable.
My dad is 5'6" and 200 lbs. He claims that a lot of it is muscle and that he only has "10 pounds of fat on him", but that's a statement more applicable to me; he is quite overweight. He says when he was my age he was 170 lbs and "not fat" -- I know for a fact that I would look really fat at 170 lbs. My appetite was really voracious for a couple years but has slowed down; though I still get days where I can almost clean out an entire refrigerator, they are getting more rare. My sister is 5'7" and 150 lbs, and somewhat chubby. My mother is 5'3" and about my weight.
I still look youngish in the face, though my jaw has become more geometric and square lately. I don't know whether I should "try" to grow by say, working out a lot, sleeping a lot, and drinking lots of milk + excess calories, but I feel like it might not even work. Is it likely my growth is almost done? Can/should I get a bone scan to determine it?
