I'm a first time mom and I'm 14 weeks.the last two days I've had splitting headaches. I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to alleviate them. It would be much appreciated.

They have the following symptoms: pain in the temples (only on one side at a time),across my forehead,sting sensations on top of skull, the feel of a splitting maul slammed into my skull, and a vise/halo effect. I have tried several medications, including dhe 45. I had a ct scan about 2-3 years ago showing a lipoma in the center of my brain. I also have short term memory loss,fatigue, no energy. I do not have any migraine symptoms. I had them for years. I am scheduled for a new ct scan next month to check the size of the lipoma. Could the lipoma have grown and be the cause of my headaches?

View 4 RepliesI am 19 weeks and for over a week i have woke up every morning with a headache and sore neck. My headache lasts all day. I dont like to take meds especially when pregnant although i have had to take tylenol once this week. I am wondering if it is from the way i am sleeping or something. I usually sleep on my stomach but about 2 months ago i switched to sleeping on my sides with a body pillow between my knees and tucked under my lil belly. I drink lots of water and cut waaay back on coffee when trying to conceive. I am considering getting a massage if i can find someone local who treats pregnant women. Never had a massage!! Anyone have any suggestions? My stress level is the same as normal.

2 weeks ago I was advised to go and see a chiropractor for a shoulder problem I was having. He said he thought I had a trapped nerve in the C7 region. I said I only wanted conservative treatment so he used the adjustor (the little device that clicks and knocks agains your skin if you've seen one) down my neck to try and shift the nerve.
When I got up from the table, I felt a woosh of heat and a throbbing pain at the back of my skull. My whole head felt pressurised and my neck was very stiff. The next day i had the same feeling, as though someone had punched me in the head and feeling dizzy etc.
Now it's two weeks later and no better. The pain travels from the base of my skull and is like a stabbing behind my eye.
I should mention this is all on the left hand side. I had to go to a and e it was so bad at one point and after basic tests they said I had just strained my neck and to take naproxin. This is NOT a neck strain! The head pressure is like a dull feeling over my whole head but particularly at the C1 area and behind my eye and is constant but ranges from tolerable to unbarable.
My chiro said I must just have a sensitive neck..
Has anyone had anything like this happen to them? I'm totally open to all ideas from anyone! Could it be that he somehow moved a nerve which is now causing optical neuralgia maybe?
I'm a 16 year old male, first time being here. So, I have a problem to talk about since I feel like I might enter the sexual contact stage of my life soon. I have these "lips" around my meatus for about a year or more, but never really noticed them until the last couple of days. Never had any sexual intercourse before. I've done some research on some random forums and came to a conclusion that these appeared from my harsh and rough masturbation, sometimes to the point of the meatus kind of splitting a bit, washing penis glans and meatus with soap after masturbation. It doesn't really hurt, but this morning it kind of swollen up a lot more because I've washed off smegma the day before and the skin didn't really retract and cover the "lips", so it was super sensitive. I've read somewhere that I might be stuck with this for the rest of my life. Are there any ways to treat this? I'm very anxious about everything in life, suffer from a few anxieties and depression.
