View 3 RepliesI know caffeine is a big thing while pregnant, but lately I've been drinking soda everyday. And coffee I've been craving it, I don't want to drink coffee and soda in the same day. Could I be drinking to much caffeine? I don't want it later on being my fault for drinking to much. I cant help it sometimes. The past 2 days I haven't drink any soda nor coffee, but right now I'm craving some coffee.

View 6 RepliesI normally do not like Pepsi but for some reason I am wanting Pepsi like crazy!! I know it's not good for the baby but I have been drinking it here and there trying not to drink too much.
View 11 RepliesYes, you know I like my beer. Now, is there really any difference between having a beer or two or a soda or two? I actually cannot drink soda due to the massive carbonation. It hurts my GERD. Beer doesn't give me any problems, and I like the taste better anyway. Don't get me wrong, I still drink a lot of water and milk, just enjoy a beer on occasion.
View 10 Replieswell they have found that the products they use to make a soda diet can be harmful. But it all depends on details. If you haven't drank soda that much, and just started drinking a lot, then that can harm your kidneys. but it's usually best to stay away from soda period.
View 4 RepliesMy husband and I just started back earlier this week trying to lose weight. I am currently at my heaviest that I have ever been 225lbs. I have omitted soda and alcohol from my diet. I have also been drinking so much water that I feel like I am going to float away! My stomach is larger now than when I began. Is there anything that I can do to get rid of the bloating? Or just do I need to keep on the same path?
View 1 RepliesI'm wondering what the "typical" dose is for fludrocortisone? I've been taking .1 mg for past several years, but doesn't seem like it's doing anything. I'm thirsty all of the time, and am consuming liquids all day it seems ... and yes, I add sea salt to my water. Could it be that this gets worse the longer you live with the condition, and so may require more of the med to help with sodium retention? I'm clearly not retaining extra water weight as I'm extremely thin (87 lbs). My doctor doesn't seem to have a clue and just tells me to keep drinking water. I pretty much don't rely on doctors anymore with this condition. I've grown tired of educating them about Addison's/ Adrenal Insufficiency. So I figured I would ask here and see what others take and if anyone has had to increase their fludrocortisone.

View 1 RepliesI have always enjoyed salty foods but over the past few years I really crave them all the time. Could it have something to do with my adrenal glands?
View 2 RepliesI have suffered for 33 years with this disease. I am 76 yrs old. LS is an autoimmune disease and a health person told me for a true autoimmune
problem is that you had to have 3. I have arthritis, Ls and thyroid. Jus over a year ago I had to have the thyroid removed (cancer) . That is okay now. But listen to this, The unbearable constant burning itch has all but disappeared. There is still some very mild discomfort around the anus. The fusing was so complete that I lost the clitorus first and than the labia minora and the labia majora was starting to disappear. But with the regular use of coconut oil and spraying after bathroom use with water and baking soda I now have rather normal looking labia and normal colour. i was white, gray, purple and bumps. Only the clitorus has not been uncovered but sensation is still there. I am just very slightly white at the entrance to the vagina both front and back. I wish i had Known about these treatments years ago.
I was doing really well, and was almost to my goal of being able to fly again (my niece has a wedding in July, and I didn't want to miss it due to being too big to fly), when I started having this strange craving for Strawberry Splash gushers, and Ginger Ale. For the past three weeks, I've gone through two boxes of gushers a day, and a liter of ginger ale a day. Does anyone else have strange food addictions that set them back? How did you kick it?
View 2 RepliesI just LOVE salt, and sometimes I feel a bit shaky and if I eat something salty, I'm fine! I suspect this is an electrolyte imbalance, but no real idea. What's going on?
