Toyota - Camry :: 2007 - CD Player Not Displaying Track Or Title Info

The single disk cd player in my 07 Camry will not display the cd title information, track number or song title. It simply stopped displaying this information. The cd plays fine. It says "loading", then 'reading disk" and finally simply "CD". I tried several cd's and the title, track or title is not displayed. I checked the owners manual but there is no mention of how to fix this problem. I made an mp3 cd and the cd player reads all the mp3 info but still will not read data on a standard cd. Is there a "reset" somewhere to restore normal operation?

My brother started up his GLI this morning his MFA was displaying all the info in kilometers. I read through the manual and couldn't find a know or switch that he could have hit to make the change.

I ordered my IS 300h F-Sport (winter!). After five months of waiting, the car is now at the dealer. I went today to take a look and one thing is making me a little bit nervous...
The info screen said "Pop up hood error", I asked the salesman about it and said that the car needs preparation and be reset....
I want to believe it but my mind is taking my opinion that something triggered the pop up hood pedestrian protection... maybe a little hit? I don't know.... and maybe the salesman is being honest and it is normal.
The bumper is all ok, no signs of damage, (the car arrived yesterday and my girlfriend went to take a look).

The OEM DVD player in my '04 started having problems with occasionally displaying a disc format error across the screen. The movie usually still plays, but the lettering is stays on the screen. If you go back through the menus it will sometimes go away or you just have to eject and reload the DVD. Now it does it pretty much everytime we turn the player on.

I just got a new 2015 toyota camry with 9k miles tonight! i have the basic entune setup without the apps library thing. i noticed while i was playing lindsey sterling during my drive home that the album covers are not showing up. instead, the device icon displays on usb, bluetooth, and fm radio. The album cover box is checked on the settings screens so it is enabled. disabling and then enabling it doesn't work.
I looked through the manual and nothing seems to indicate of a way to get the album cover to really show up. i have all my music files properly tagged and the album covers came up just fine on my pioneer touchscreen radio installed in my recently sold 2001 infiniti qx4. Do I have to do a re-tag of my files to get the album covers to work or is there another workaround to this?

I've seen This Problem discussed about GMC models but not Toyota Avalon. Why does my '97 Avalon ABS & Track Off dash warning lights Continually flash on occasion? Also, on occasion while making a turn, my car just shuts off! So far, it's started right up without stranding me.

My 2008 Sienna DVD player suddenly won't play discs because it doesn't seem to be spinning the disc. Inserting and ejecting the disc goes normally but the nothing happens when the disc is inserted.

I have a 2008 es350 with 165k km (100k miles). Just into the dealer as I had a "check vsr" warning on the info panel. Turned out to be an O2 sensor. Also had the front rotors done & oil change. Tech noticed that there is some oil residue around the gasket on the timing case, said he will check next visit.

All of a sudden, the compass is not displaying accurately. The repair guy at the dealership said to try driving the car in circles to reset it, but that just made me dizzy - didn't correct it.
Any other trick that might work? Or does this trick work if you drive in more circles than about 6 or 8?

I have 2014 0.5 Camry with Entune Premium Audio with Nav & App Suite. The radio will not display any info from the station I'm listening to, other than the station number. I know that not all stations provide that info in their streams, but I've never found one that will show the song name, artist, etc., although the music sounds fine. Is there a fix for this?

Yesterday my passenger front window popped out of it's track. Then when we tried to pop it back in and get it to go back up, it completely popped out and up about 3 inches from the frame of the door. Enough to be able to fit a had through no problem.
I am taking the car in tomorrow to have it looked at and get a quote to fix. From what I've read, it's a super pricey fix. So bummed because I just bought the car about 6 weeks ago (if that) ...

I noticed the driver side window in my car is loose. It wiggles on the track when rolled down 2-6 inches. You can also hear it in the door when the door is closed when it is rolled down all the way. It sounds like the windows on the old Trans Ams and Camros, which were always loise. It became loose between the first scheduled service and the one year service.
I mentioned it at the one year. The tech said all 4 2014 SE's had the same problem. He showed me it, too. He told me there was nothing he could do since its how Toyota made the car. And the other cars had the same problem. Since he said there was nothing he could do about it, I called Toyota to report it.

I just bought a 7th Gen Camry 2012 model in Muscat, Oman and the maps included are those of Navteq but from February 2011. Which means the map is now 2 years old now and most of the roads, intersections have changed. A new expressway inaugurated two years back is totally absent. It often tells me to turn right on the top of an overpass and leads me to blind alleys and non-existent turns.
Toyota does not have an update for the Middle east maps even though Navteq has the update in their own GPS devices.I want to try updating the maps manually using the NAVTEQ updated maps and POI by accessing the HDD of the inbuilt player. How to access the HDD?

Yesterday, I went to charge a friend's GPS in my 2008 Toyota Corolla. I discovered that a dime was stuck in the charging port (but why, by the way). I had to use a pen to carefully get the dime out, but in the process, I shorted out the car radio/CD player, clock, and the charging port. Everything else electrical works. How can I fix this problem?

Last week, our 2004 Camry's dash stopped displaying information - fuel gauge / speed / etc. two nights ago, I reseated a number of fuses, and it worked for a while, but stopped working again yesterday. All the fuses looked intact, even though some of the contacts were a little gunky. I cleaned them off, but it continues not to work.
Additionally, after reseating a number of fuses, I get 5 quick beeps when turning off the car, which may be coming from our aftermarket radio.
I read on another site last night to disconnect the battery, and that may reset the computer, and relight the dash. I did that, it didn't fix the problem, and afterwards when I started the car the idle was so slow the car wouldn't even stay running. After about 20 minutes, the idle was still very low, but the car would run. When I checked it this morning, it was idling fine, but the dash still wasn't lighting up.
The seatbelt lights and gear light up ok, but nothing else on the dash works. Battery, alternator, dash? What does this sound like?

Our 2007 Chevy Tahoe 4 X 4 recently displayed a "Service Four Wheel Drive" panel light a couple of days ago (upon ignition on a sunny, dry day). The light had been steady which, when we read the owners manual, indicates a problem but no immediate service required. One of the possible solutions was to remove and close the gas cap in case it had been incorrectly closed during the last gas-up. That did not work. Yesterday, during a snow storm, I tried using the 4WD. The dial would move to the different settings, but no 4WD activated and no light illuminated indicating which gear it was in (2WD, Auto, 4H, 4L). We checked the fuse for the 4WD but it is OK.

It just keeps on trying to read but doesn't do anything more. It had the same problem like 2 months back and I used a CD cleaner (with brush on a CD) and it worked fine and now it won't even read that disk. It's with navigation system. I went to a few car electronics shop around here and they don't do cleaning and servicing stuff. What are my options? Is there any place where I can send it and they fix it?

I can't get my CD out. It was an MP3 disc, it won't load, and it won't eject. I thought maybe I took it out and forgot but it still says CD IN and I can see it. How can I get this out?

In my radio/cd player, the cds start ejecting on their own, no command to do so, the screen starts displaying junk.
