Saturn - Vue :: 2003 - Obnoxious Moaning Sound When Turn The Steering Wheel

I have a 2003 Saturn Vue, been a pretty car, bought used. It has been making this obnoxious moaning sound when I turn the steering wheel. Had one mechanic say he thought it was some bearings? But I would have to bring back (was having something else fixed at the time). I am financially challenged at the moment, and I am concerned this is going to be costly. The sound doesn't seem to be affecting the mechanics of the car, it is just annoying.

During the past couple of months, I've noticed a moaning when I turn the steering wheel at slow speeds, mainly while driving in parking lots. When I turn the A/C off, the sound disappears. Is my compressor on its way out? The dealer replaced a leaky condenser in 2011. My fear is that they didn't replace it properly with adding oil back to the system.

I have a 2003 Volkswagen Passat, and I'm having some trouble with it. When I turn the steering wheel, there is a groaning sound both to the left and right. the other problem is when I'm accelerating slowly up an incline and turning the steering wheel, there a type of clicking sound I hear and feel on my accelerator. By the way, it's a V6 engine, Front wheel drive.

2004 Yukon XL Denali, <80,000 miles, recently rebuilt front drive unit and replaced cracked right side axle housing. Other than needing a tranny and rear end service no real issues. My power steering gives a moaning sound when turning either direction. I check the fluid often and it's always full. The steering doesn't "hitch" or seem to grab in any position, but I can also feel the slight roughness through the steering wheel also when turning. otherwise, the steering seems normal and the fluid is not cloudy, dark, or burnt. So...what next?

When the AC is on and I turn the temperature up and down I hear a moaning sound coming from behind the dash. It sounds like a valve or baffle opening and closing as I change the desired temperature and more or less cold air is needed.

I've noticed a couple times when I turn on my car with it just sitting there if i turn the steering wheel all the way to one direction i get some sort of screeching sound coming from the driver side front wheel area what could it be and if i were to turn it the other way all the way too. If I turn my steering wheel all the way to the right or left when I'm parking, I hear a clank sound when I start to turn my wheel back in the opposite direction....obviously coming from the front of the car. Sound familiar? Any clues what it could be?

I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport (128,000 miles) that has a groaning sound when ever you turn the steering wheel (and front wheels, of course). We were told by the former owner that it was the front wheel u-joints. I do not think that is the problem since it makes the sound when the Jeep is not moving forward or reverse. Is it typical for the u-joints or spindle joint (ball joints?) to make noise when they get older?
It makes a similar sound when I stand in front of it and try to push it up and down. When that happens, the car is not running and the wheels are stationary in all respects.

Car is in for knocking sound made when you are stopped and you turn the wheel quick from left to right. Also does the same thing when you hit a bump. Dealer is saying it was always that way I say bs. 2008 prius.

I've been noticing this one single "metallic" click sound a few months ago, it happens whenever I turn the steering wheel a little over 90 degrees.
The steering intermediate shaft recall has been done summer of last year. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this sound I'm hearing.

My taurus makes this weird sound when I turn my steering wheel left or right. It sounds like that cartoon "rubber being stretched" sound or maybe a little like plucking an overly tightened string. It doesn't affect driveability but I've been dealing with this for quite some time and I'm trying to sell it now... it's a major buyer turn off.

I have a 2003 Subaru outback and sometimes when I go to back into a parking space or straighten out after pulling into a parking space my steering wheel becomes incredibly difficult to turn. It used to only do this when I was backing into a space but now it has started doing it when I pull forward into a space as well. This happens most often when I am driving to multiple places and have to park several times over a period of a few hours. I've monitored my power steering fluid and the power steering pump was replaced not too long ago. What's causing this?

I had my power steering motor and ignition replaced according to the Saturn recall 2 months ago. Went out yesterday and the PWR STR warning light was on, unable to move steering wheel. Turned the car off and waited a few minutes and turned the car back on and the power steering was fine. Since I just had the motor replaced do you think it is just a fuse? Or should I call the dealer?

I have a 97 F150 that I just got a few weeks ago. I was driving home Wed. night when the 4x4 low range light would come on and off intermittently I had it in 2h the whole time. I went online and couldn't really find anything on it. So I get up to go to work on Thursday and the truck wouldn't even turn over. The battery was dead. I have a 2003 Toyota Camry. About 10 months ago, when I get a transmission fluid change, the mechanic told me that my power steering fluid is dirty. A few month later, in the cold winter month, my steering wheel make loud screeching noise when the engine is cold only. The mechanic told me that I have a small power steering leak. But since I don't see the power steering fluid level goes down and the mechanic say I don't have to fix it now, I didn't do anything about it.
About a month ago, there is a squeaking noise come from my steering wheel every time I drive very slowly out of (or into) my driveway and turning the wheel. Now I heard the noise when I drive slowly (10 mph) and turning the wheel too. So what is the problem that cause the noise when I turn the wheel at slow speed? I only drive about 5k miles a year. Is it safe if I just continue to ignore the problem?
Also, the color of my current power steering fluid is amber, but a little dark. Which power steering fluid should I buy?
