Since my first service, I have had a clicking type noise in my front end of the car when I am driving slowly (parking, pulling into my driveway). The dealer first said that it could be the brakes setting up after the car sat for a while. They "could not duplicate" the sound when the car was dropped off, but I still hear when I drive.

In addition, once in a while, while driving the car, it will automatically honk on the street. I sense the car may need some check-up for its electric system. But what shall I do at this moment?
View 5 RepliesWhenever I am in a parking lot turning into parking spaces or driving slowly around or even turning into my driveway I have a deep creaking type sound that sounds awful. It's either the suspension going south, something with one of the strut bars or the bigger diameter mid pipe making contact with something when the car is turning. Car is noise free otherwise even over soles bumps, just happens to sound nasty when making turn ins going 2-5 mph.

View 14 RepliesI have owned my Saturn Outlook XR (2008) for a short 2 months. My a/c stopped working about 3 weeks ago. Replaced the blower motor and air would then blow again but the a/c still does not work. Had a mechanic look at the vehicle for me and turns out that I have that haunting saturn outlook hose rubbing together causing a leak problem that so many of you have also experienced. My low pressure line is leaking. My mechanic explained what an extensive project this is, not due to the actual parts, but, the labor to reach this hose then replace it. I am not thrilled about this problem. I do not want to be paying more money out of my pocket to fix a vehicle that I haven't owned long enough to have these kinds of expenses. This clearly is an issue in more than just my vehicle and GM is not taking responsibility for this poor placement/planning of the hoses and recalling this part.

View 30 RepliesI have a 2008 Saturn Outlook, 88k miles that shudders at 35mph when accelerating. Does not matter if the car is hot or cold. This problem (there are others) started after I had my tires aligned. It does not pull to the left or right it just shakes and shudders at 35 mph and goes away. I thought maybe it was the spark plugs, but darn if this stupid car company did not build this so you (the regular folkd) can change their spark plugs. Have to remove the exhaust manifold etc. or pay a mechanic to replace them. After this started I had to have my water pump replaced, while it was in the shop I had them run a diagnostic and nothing shows up except the water pump issue and that my timing cover needs to be resealed.

View 30 RepliesFriday, 4/4/14: I have read many of the posts about this issue on this site. Didn't know this was such a widespread problem until I started doing my internet research today. Obviously there are many of us and this has been going on for a few years with this vehicle. I have had soaked floor boards twice and dealing with my third incident today(4 inches of rain last night). Have an appt with my GMC dealership on Monday. How I start this process with GMC to quickly get their attention. Obviously, I need to contact GMC first so that I can get their standard, worthless answer. But I've read I need to hire a "lemon law attorney", post my dissatisfaction on social media, contact the news media, etc. I am 62 yrs old, on disability, can't afford this inconvenience for something GMC should be RECALLING and fixing. Plus I have a small garage and this monster vehicle will not fit in it (didn't know that until after I bought it).
View 2 RepliesFive months ago I purchased a Saturn with 60,000 miles. Yesterday upon leaving my driveway it wouldn't shift out of first gear. Turned around , put it in the garage & tried to backup, put it in reverse & the vehicle would not move and the tranny made a loud whine. For the past two weeks the tranny made a loud " clunk " when it shifted into second, also on the highway it wouldn't shift into high gear & was running at 2500 rpm. Is this an electronic issue or more ?
View 1 RepliesThe key will not turn to off, stuck in acc. I have no power to the windows, sunroof, seat and seat heaters, and no brake lights, and the mirrors have no power either. I took the car to the local GM dealer who told me the ignition was not in any recall and found that the Body Control Module was bad and needed replacement.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2009 Saturn Outlook. The rear lift gate does not work anymore, as a matter of fact it tries to slam itself shut whenever it is lifted. I am not extremely mechanically inclined but I can do minor repairs so I also need to know if I can fix this problem or need to take it to a mechanic.
View 3 Replies2013 Ford Edge... About a month ago the car started making a sound from the front, similar to the sound when you drive over a concrete bridge. This noise first pops up once you get to about 25mph. at 35 it gets very noticeable. Yesterday, for the first time when I hit 60mph it also began making a clicking sound.
This sound originally began out of the blue one day, from nothing to full blown and now as I stated above there is an added clicking noise. I had the car into the ford dealer a few weeks ago but they could not detect a problem/even hear the noise (it was raining heavily that day so I can understand how they would miss it). They did give me new tires/brakes, alignment, and refinished the rotors for other problems I was having. Again the noise was there before and after these changes.
Also, I guess I should add that again for the first time yesterday, as I was parking and coming to a stop there was a sound similar to a mechanical click/clank a few times coming from what sounded like the front left of the car, could this be a connection to the other sound?
For the last few months I noticed that there is a rattling or clicking noise that frequently comes from the front passenger seat area but only when no one is in that seat. If the seat is being weighed down by someone sitting there, there is no rattle or clicking noise. It generally occurs when I'm driving on bumpier or textured roads. It suspect that it's coming from something underneath the seat, like the lever that adjusts the seat forward and backward underneath it.
I brought the car to a local dealership and they took a look. After a few hours with them, the car was returned to me. They said they'd found that the lever that adjusts the seat forward/backward was not tightly screwed down all the way on one side, so they adjusted that to make it tight. They also found a coin on the rail underneath that seat and removed it too. However, I drove the car afterward and it is still making the noise.
I've searched this forum and already think I've ruled out the seat belt or the buckle as an issue. I put on the seat belt for the passenger seat and the noise still happens. It's really annoying when driving on a freeway!
So my truck is making a rapid clicking type of noise out of the vents when the ac is turned on.
The noise sounds like a thin piece of paper getting hit by a fan (that's what I hear) It started during this past winter when I would cold start the truck. but as the heater warmed up it went away completely. well now since its warm out I am running the ac now, and it blows cold but doesn't have a lot of volume to it it seems. but being the problem was when the truck was cold running the cold ac makes the noise permanent.
The blend door acutator is working as should (i can only assume the blend door is ok) the vacuum lines are good and vacuum signal is good.
2003 F350 4.4 5.4L auto. The front hub assemblies, seals, axle ujoints and upper/lower ball joint were all replaced. I bought all the parts gave them to the mechanic and told him if there's problems call me. I took a week off went to MS and he never called. I go to get truck he tells me, the bearings in the hubs are not spinning freely causing the axles to spin. I checked the hubs they are in the unlock position (Warn manual hubs). Originally auto hubs. Now i have the whole front diff spinning and the front drive shaft is spinning too. Clacking and clicking from the front wgen driving. Oh he said the front drive shaft ujoint was bad also. I paid $600 to have it all replaced and i get it back wrong. Is there something i need to check on the hubs that he maybe did wrong? Or is it possible i was sold the wrong hub assemblies?

It says that my power steering fluid is low but didn't think that would stop it from starting and power steering seems to be OK. It is the coldest couple of days we have had and wonder if weather is a factor.

Not there all the time..heard it last night while driving home....pulled over and waited for a while looked underneath could not see anything. Started off again heard it momentarily then it stopped....but I am thinking that this could be axle/wheel related/ball joint? No engine issue coming from the chassis underneath, possible bearing?
I have a 2003 Gx with 245K on it....but overall runs great!
