Jeep - Compass :: 2007 - High Beam Went Off And Not Working Anymore

My hight beam went off and doesn't work anymore ..my fuse box is the problem and i dont want to replace it cuz its too expensive maybe a chip inside not work right and in my car when i switch the gear to d the hight beam turns on On 6 volts day and night . Now its doesn't work ether the 6 or 12 volts .. How to fix it?

Wanted to change my stock yellow high beam (DRL) bulb to an LED bulb i bought from jdmtoys I also changed the parking light to LED and it works perfectly, so after changing the high beam bulbs it worked for few seconds then stopped working... I put back the stock high beam bulbs and it still is not working did i blow a fuse or something? Now when I turn the high beam on my headlight turns on instead of the high beam....

This morning a dash light informed me a headlight bulb was out. It was my DTR light on the passenger side.
I purchased Sylvania H7 high intensity, installed it and it failed to work properly. Daytime light on only drivers side works.
High Beam on , both lights works.
I checked my manual and it said to check fuse in the 5 slot on the driver side dash/door panel and there actually is no fuse in there. I checked the driver side and there was no fuse there either.
I replaced my driver side bulb last year and it took 5 mins....i am already 4 hours into this!

Just discovered that both high beams are not working. Regular lights ok. When switch to high beam both go off. I know some bulbs have two filaments, is this the case for this car? Are the bulbs burnt out or something else is wrong?

Where's the fuse for the DRL ...both my DRL and high beam isn't working ...I checked the bulb and is seem fine. I did check the fuse box on both locations ( under the hood and steering wheel) none of them says DRL fuse in there ...

My wife has a 2007 Jeep Compass. The stock stereo stopped working one day. It had no power going to it. My wife's father is a mechanic at a car dealership. He's an older gentleman and isn't very savvy when it comes to modern electronics such as stereos. He tried to fix it for her. He ended up telling her the stereo was "burnt out" and she needed a new one. She was bummed out because the stereo didn't work. I bought her a new aftermarket stereo for her birthday and it came with the installation kit and the adapters and connectors. She asked her father if he could install it for her. He tried and couldn't get it to work. One of his coworkers looked at it and said he suspects there is a "bad wire" somewhere, possibly under the gear shifter? He bench-tested the original stereo and it still works! Where do we look for the "bad wire" ? How do we find it? They haven't been able to find it so far. This model does not have steering wheel controls for the stereo.

This has been an ongoing issue for months. I fill up the Compass's gas tank all the way and, at the next stop light or paused traffic, it will stall. My workaround is to fill the gas tank almost all the way full and it doesn't stall. But, what could be causing this issue? I've seen repair suggestions for things such as power control module valve and connector switch for fuel pump, but haven't seen anything definitive.

I have a 2007 automatic jeep compass that is stalling. heres the thing, it only stalls when i am idle at a red light/stop sign. I also noticed it only stalls when its in drive. if i switch the car to neutral while stopped/idle it will not stall. i also notice this happens more frequently in the rain.

I had to break suddenly last night, and my phone (attached to the AUX cable at the time) bounced up under the wheel, gaining access by the accelerator and break pedals. I can hear it vibrate, but cannot feel the vibrations or touch the phone by reaching up under there - and I am worried I will disconnect the wires if I continue to rummage.
I removed the base of the steering wheel column, but did not find my phone, I guess it is wedged too far into the workings of my car Jeep Compass 2007.
I have two questions. could I remove the plastic facing by the windshield without dismantling the car (I can't tell from the manual)
is it safe to drive with my phone in this position? I'm worried it might disconnect the break fluid or something as I try to drive it to the mechanic.

I don't know when it happened, but the compass does not show on my MFD anymore. I have been through all of the menus in the mfd and can't find anything about turning it on. Oddly enough, I can't find the menu for setting the area for the compass either. I do have a Vag-com but where to look using it.

My 1996 jeep cherokee is having a problem with the lights when I pull the plunger switch my dashboard blinker lights and high beam light come on but none of my outside lights come on besides my tail lights.

I tried to pull out my sun visor one day to get more sun protection and ended up yanking it out. I put the sun visor back on and my seat heaters, interior mirror/compass, cigarette lighter, exterior mirrors, and mirror heaters don't work. I guess What do I do about these small annoying issues??

I have 2000 golf with a gli front end. Recently just did the swap and now I'm having issues with one blinker and one high beam not working. The running lights work on both sides. The headlights work on both sides. I checked the bulbs and they were good. I check for power it was all good. I checked the fuses and they were fine.

My high beam doesnt work. I have a Euro Passat with H7. I bought new H7 yesterday but still no luck.
I have switched fuses to new ones.
Is there anything else I can check?
Is there relays on this model for the high beams?
Low beams works fine and everything else in lights.

My high beam indicator in my dash is not working, I pulled the bulb and checked it and it is fine, so I did a voltage test and I am only getting 1.5 volts at the light terminals, I should be getting 12 volts. Is there a wiring diagram someone has so i can see if it is the dash display itself or that I could trace back to the switch to see if it is something in the headlight switch? or What it could possibly be. other than that, everything else works.

So, last night I go to turn on the high beams on my 2002 Passat (pushing the bar on the left of the steering column forward) ... and nothing happens. The bar clicks into place as it should, but no high beams. The little indicator light on the dashboard does not come on, either.
I try to flash my high beams, and that DOES work. The brights come on, and the little indicator lights up when the beams engage.
So ... I know it's not a fuse, since the lights are actually functioning. What part/switch/relay/whatever needs to be replaced to get this fixed? I feel like this would involve me needing to pull apart the mechanism in the steering column, but I hope not ...

I have a 2007 Camry SE V6 and noticed that my high beam/DRL won't turn off even when the car is off. I had to take out the fuses for both so it wouldn't drain my batteries. Its the exact same issue as the OP in this thread:

I have an '06 Camry, which has lost all power functionality. The follow items just stopped working
1. Key fob -- keyless entry and alarm stopped working
2. high beam doesn't come on when headlight is on. However, when headlight is off, it comes on--go figure
3. Power door lock also does not work, even from driver side door. Have to lock all doors manually
4. Interior lights don't come on when door is open.
